What comes to mind when listening to this is the Serenity Prayer. Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Thanks, Adya. These words speak to something that's been on my heart for a couple of years now. Processing the world's suffering is surely a natural pitfall of the sheer amount of information about such suffering available to us on the internet today.

I remember discovering you years ago thinking who is this funny looking man. But just listening to your recorded retreats you've turned out to be one of my most impactful teachers and now I listen in full abidance. ❤️

Past couple of years I have had a lot of stuff to process and suffered a lot. Got a bit manicky last year I couldn't hold it on my own then had a bad experience out of NY. It has been so rough processing hand over fist for a couple of years. I might be impressed if I could stop. Life threw something else at me last week so I signed up for a course that will ground me I hope. I think I might watch this video a few more times. Thanks, Adya! 🙏

How beautiful Adya. So many especifica Fiona of the stages or possibilities of the process. It makes me wonder though if it’s better for me to know that In the acceptance of life as it is, and this of the endless new feeling of me even in only one particular event compassion should arise. I worked hard with Buddhist meditation long ago, on compassion, to seal it in heart per say. Beautiful. But I think I needed to step back and step into life to experience the whole process. I realised I had believed my behaviour or the way I felt was meant to be different from the one it was. Fortunately you do mention clearly to accept even the part which doesn’t like the way things are. Love that 💚👌🏼

Pain's purpose is the same as pleasure, for both are means to make the body real. What shares a common purpose is the same.

Hey Adya, perhaps you can watch some of Bashar's channeled sessions if you haven't already. Also, Portugal might reveal itself as a wonderful place for you to take a vacation, if you wish. Thank you for sharing.

I was aware even younger than this that all the grown ups were lost they believed that voice in their head was who they were .
Never aware of the simple beingness of awareness I walked amongst them fascinated and bewildered by thier inability to taste the truth they are camouflaged by the conditioned mind eg names and labels

Does this teaching apply to the current events of the war in Ukraine or any type of a war or major humanity and earth suffering? Cause it really breaks my heart and I struggle a lot with accepting these parts of life.
