Chorong should have been MVP. Such dominant performance of the MS and flexibility, which is a weakness of most others MS (yes im looking at you Astro)..
Loved the video! Would be really interested in a video that properly breaks down the bans that different teams chose throughout the tournament, maybe focus on certain key matches, and whether from a coach/analyst perspective you guys think the bans teams chose worked effectively or not. Maybe explaining further the styles and strategies and explain (or roast) some of the funky bans like GG not banning out of the rush mirror against SSG, or Zeta not banning Sugarfree off tracer if they weren't going to match the mirror
Tank: Someone (able to play all tanks) Flex DPS: Checkmate+Proper (checkmate for Mei and Torb; Proper for anything else; for double felx meta) Hitscan: Shy+Lip (for double hitscan meta+sombra meta) Flex Sup: Shu (it is wat it is) Main Sup: Ch0r0ng+Viol2t (Ch0r0ng probaly the best mainsup these days; viol2t for double flex meta and can swap off to main sup) 8/8 🤓
i think even between lip and merit lip takes the cake very easily. his impact was felt much more on hs imo, which we really saw on both circuit royales, and lip has the extra degree of flexibility
Given how prominent double flex DPS and double flex support were in this meta, my team would be Guxue, Sugarfree, Proper, Shu and Viol2t (argument for SOMEONE and kevster). I think Guxue showed his flexibility and is still obviously one of the best Winston/Doom players in the world. Sugarfree was easily Toronto's best player for me and had some filthy moments on Tracer throughout the tournament. The value of Proper being able to swap from Ashe/Cass to Echo and back again is enormous (we saw Quartz and MER1T try to do it and it flopped massively). Shu is the literal MVP. Ignoring the Ajax, I thought Viol2t played really well, he was easily the best Illari in the tournament for me and his Brig play is right up there.
I think it would be cool if next time you two make a video like this that you make it a rule to not select the same player so it’s like a live draft which would lead to more interesting teams n lists
Alr, how did CommanderX only put 1 falcons player on his list even though they played Racoons the closest. Surely you have atleast 2 there. This is why Chris talks more
Where is the Coach of the Tournament
#1 Casores (Coaching Documents 🔥)
#2 Unter (Junkrat Gap)
#3 Gator (Went to desert)

id go with Someone, Kev, Proper, Finn, Ch0r0ng
yeah the kev proper dps line seems really good in this meta

TotT: Hadi on Rein, Lenny when a girl’s watching him, Proper on anti-depressants, Shu, Viol2t without beat
I agree about Galaa. It felt like he was constantly getting picks
Someone Chorong feels too important not to have. Finn feels weird on paper but having the option to take Stalk3r Shy is great

I'd change hanbin for someone and merit for proper than you have a worse hitscan player for better tank flexibility and double flex dps option.

Shu chorong is already the best combination backline in the world
I'm taking Kev over leave but otherwise good team
@@genericname7163 Viol2t's flex support is too good to pass up, and I trust Shu to reign him in a bit when he's on Lucio
