Thanks for the Kashmir story. I listened to the Pontiac Silverdome show, and my head almost exploded when Jimmy finishes White Summer and they go right into Kashmir. I was sure it was a recording glitch, and played it back like 12 times. No chance...
It's hard to put them in any kind of order except my #1 .. here we go with a Top 10 from me;; 1. Paul McCartney (4 concerts over the decades, I'd say the third time was the best in early 2000's) 2. Toto (multi nights at a club in Santa Cruz! I hung out with them. 1989/90ish They were getting warmed up for their Japan tour.) 3. Yes (October 6th, 1980, had great seats near front center. They had no opening band, but instead a large projector played cartoons.) 4. Peter Gabriel (1980 He came right through the audience to the stage) 5. Styx (Paradise Theater Tour 1981) 6. The Cars (1982) 7. Tears For Fears (1990) 8. Tom Petty (1979) 9. The Judds (October 17th 1987) I was backstage to interview them when Naomi Judd, the mom invited me to watch the entire show from the side of the stage!) 10.. Fleetwood Mac (1997, The Dance Tour)
