A tip I learned from my grandmother is when you want to use fresh ginger just peel it (you can easily take the skin off with a spoon) and use however much you need and then pop the remaining ginger in a baggie and stick it in the freezer. It stays good for months and months and when you want to use some just take it out and use a handheld grater and it’s like ginger snow!
Finally, someone else who agrees chicken doesn't need to cook for 6-8 hours in the crockpot!! I've been saying that for so long!! I cook my chicken for 3-4 hours & it comes out perfect every 👏 single 👏 time! And yes those tiquitos are delicious dipped in nacho cheese 🤤!!
You prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know of a way to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Jimmy Johnny thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Love your videos! They helped me ALOT when my husband & I lived in Panama. we were newlyweds & I had such a hard time figuring out easy meals to prepare!
Oh my gosh you are the first person I've watched to add coleslaw to your hot dog! My family loves them that way! I am from the south where there used to be a fast food place called Wiener King and they made the "Wiener King special", a chili cheese hotdog with coleslaw. I've made them for my family for years - they are delicious! Thanks :D
We love taquitos in our house. I make one of the hamburger helpers, Crunchy Taco or Cheese Enchilada. For the sides I make taquitos or quesadillas, with a side of refried beans and tortilla chips. My kids love when I make it.
You we're one of the very first ladies I watched on TH-cam and still enjoy watching you and getting delicious recipes from. You never disappoint. Everything looks and sounds delicious.
I only use chicken thighs now. After so many times of having dry chicken breasts in recipes I got tired of it. Lol. They’re also typically cheaper🤷🏼♀️
Oh my gosh, I have been trying to think of a way to use that BWW sauce in the crock pot and this is perfect! Definitely making that for lunch tomorrow 😃
That chicken and dumpling recipe looks so good, I’m really intrigued by the gravy. I make that same style of dumplings when I make chicken and dumplings and I agree with you they are the best!!
I found a seasoning mix from Mandy in the Making. You take olive oil, s&p, ranch seasoning and shaky Parmesan cheese. She used it on Brussel sprouts and then air fried them and omg it’s amazing but I’ve put it on asparagus, little red potatoes like you used, broccoli and roasted it. It’s so good!
Yum I’m native and we cook dumplings with goose but we don’t always have harvested geese in our freezer so I’m excited to try the recipe with chicken !
Everything looked great. When I use a spoon for dropping my dumplings I dip the spoon un the water and the dumpling comes right off without using your finger to scrape it off, Dip it in the water b4 you do the first one
I also found the brioche hot dog buns at Walmart. They are my favorite. I top my hot dogs, hamburgers, breaded chicken patties, and fish sandwiches with cole slaw. I make mine the same as you, only I add onion (I don't have small children). Grating the vegetables make the best cole slaw.
We love the Johnsonville sausage brats. They are so good. I usually put them in a casserole dish with a can of sauerkraut over the top and bake for about an hour in the oven. We serve them in a hotdog bun with mustard and the cooked sauerkraut and usually make sweet potato fries in the air fryer with them. It’s a family favorite.
If you like chicken and dumplings, but like you said they are time consuming try this recipe. Get lipton soup mix and make according to box. Mix one egg in 1 1/2 cups of flour. Drop spoonfuls in boiling water, and scrape extra flour from bowl and cook til noodles are done. Rivals take about five minutes.
I hated the Olive Garden chicken that you shared and I love Olive Garden salad dressing. It just made me and my husband sick! I use to buy those rolled tacos years ago when my kids were little! I use to throw them together for a quick lunch.
Those dumplins just looked SO good! I will definitely try that. I like tangy stuff, so I would definitely prefer the Olive Garden dressing in that pasta dish, so I will have to watch that one again.
I believe the brand old El Paso makes these chicken and cheese Taquitos! They are so good! Especially dipped in salsa or sour cream! Love your videos! 💜
I agree about the long cook times for the crock pot. I made the meatball recipe with jelly and bbq sauce. Had to throw the whole pot out because the meatballs were way overcooked. I know now on any recipe to back them cook times up and check a few hours before. All your recipes look so good!! Yummy!!
I’ve been wanting to watch this since you posted but finally just now have gotten time! So excited to see what you come up with this time! I always love your videos ❤️❤️
The only thing I do differently for my chicken and dumplings is I use homemade bone broth you can make in the instant pot, so easy and cheaper than buying store bought broth. At the end I add a little heavy cream and it is so good. The homemade bone broth honestly makes a big difference and it adds more protein.
O my Hanna that Ramin dish with all the fresh veggies looks Amazing!!!! Definitely trying!!!! I live your channel and all the food you cook!!!! Have a blessed and beautiful evening sweetie!!!!
Ooo we do a ramen stir fry here too. We sometimes use Udon instead, just depends on what we have on hand. You reminded me I need to make a pot of chicken and dumplings. I think I may try this version. Looks insanely creamy and tasty.
Pepperidge Farm also does a cut at top hotdog bun: ) Or you could top the ramen with sesame seeds. Everything looked delicious Kristin!!! Can't wait to try the dumpling recipe!!
great ideas there ...i love seeing whats for dinner ...its so fascinating too me ...and i love seeing ideas cos sometimes i tend to stick to the safe recipes n gets a lil samey so it gives me the confidence to branch out a little bit so i definitely appreciate these videos ...great job yum yum hee hee 🧡❤️
So good to see you back Kristin! You’ve been greatly missed. Those dumplings look perfect! Yummy!!! Nothing better than chicken n dumplins! I make my Cole slaw just like you. I love it on a barbecue sandwich. I’ll have to try it on hot dogs, hamburgers and smoked sausage. Sounds so good. Great video!
I love watching your videos. Everything looks so good. I have never made one of ur recipes. But i am going to start too. You make cooking look so easy.
Oh Yum!! The chicken crockpot meal looks so good!! I do dumplings like that also, and my mom’s recipe too!! I’ve been wanting a air fryer, and a pressure cooker, what kind (brand) is the best/worst, in y’all’s opinion??!! Thanks in advance
I so much enjoy your posts especially the day before grocery day. Unfortunately, I don't think the dumplings will work for my family. My Mom made them when I was younger and didn't enjoy them. Having said that, I REALLY enjoy your ideas and what I made from your posts have gone over well. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for getting straight to it and not talking us to death before hand. Great video and recipes!

Coleslaw on a loaded BBQ sandwich is the bomb!!!
I love adding shredded cheese on the taquitos for a couple minutes in the air fryer after it’s cooked!
Those chicken and dumplings look so good. Definitely making that tonight!
Love your videos! They helped me ALOT when my husband & I lived in Panama. we were newlyweds & I had such a hard time figuring out easy meals to prepare!

Roasted potatoes are such an easy simple comfort food. Always a favorite
That veggie ramen looked amazing! I love your videos, please keep them coming ❤️
We love taquitos in our house. I make one of the hamburger helpers, Crunchy Taco or Cheese Enchilada. For the sides I make taquitos or quesadillas, with a side of refried beans and tortilla chips.
My kids love when I make it.
Can’t wait to try the chicken and dumplings recipe. I love cole slaw on pulled pork sandwiches! Love your videos!
Love, love, love a slaw dog! I’m from North Carolina, and most places have a slaw dog on their menu.
Oh my goodness, I never thought to use chicken broth for my dumplings!!!!! Brilliant.
You we're one of the very first ladies I watched on TH-cam and still enjoy watching you and getting delicious recipes from. You never disappoint. Everything looks and sounds delicious.
All I can say is yum to all your dinners!
I only use chicken thighs now. After so many times of having dry chicken breasts in recipes I got tired of it. Lol. They’re also typically cheaper🤷🏼♀️
Yep I agree I like the legs! They are even cheaper ❤️
Same! I started using them after I left home. And my husband was amazed when I started cooking for him haha he never thought to use them.
This week was a BANGER! Thanks for the idea! Definitely putting these on the menu
Oh my gosh, I have been trying to think of a way to use that BWW sauce in the crock pot and this is perfect! Definitely making that for lunch tomorrow 😃

Lemon pepper on cucumbers sounds amazing!!! You always give the best ideas
All of these meals would be a big hit with my family! Chicken and dumplings are a favorite of mine but I know my guys would love the Mexican rice too.
I made this gravy tonight! We had chicken and biscuits. And this gravy was DELICIOUS! Thank you for this recipe.

Thank you for the simply potato recommendation! We have used the diced potatoes to make potato soup. Such a time saver!!
Kristin, today I made your chicken and dumplings recipe and it was AMAZING!. Thank you for the tips and menu support!!!
Yay I’m so happy you liked them!
I love coleslaw on anything including turkey sandwiches!
I love the last one meal and taking some time for yourself. 😊 I don't feel so bad I make small simple meals for me at times.
Everything looked great. When I use a spoon for dropping my dumplings I dip the spoon un the water and the dumpling comes right off without using your finger to scrape it off, Dip it in the water b4 you do the first one
Yummm those chicken & dumplings!!!! im going to have to try and make.

I seriously love your voice haha. It was nice seeing the kids plates! Always enjoy your videos. Much love from Miami
Hot dog buns sliced through the top like that, are called “New England-style” hot dog buns and are pretty common here in Massachusetts
Those taquitos are also good cooked like enchiladas in a 13x9 pan with whatever Mexican sauce you like - enchilada sauce or queso. So good!
Yes! Chili mustard and slaw ion hot dogs
or hamburgers!! So good
Was so exited to see you posted a video!! Everything looked so so yummy!!

Great recipes! Those dumplings look so delicious!😋
Have you thought about making afterschool or lunch snacks or are you focusing mainly on dinner meals?
We eat our Taquitos with a salsa and sour cream mixture. Delicious!
In WV, a standard hotdog has chili, mustard, onion, and slaw. I’m not a fan, but that’s how they make them here unless you specify otherwise lol.
I love those taquitos dipped in guacamole or sour cream.
I love your videos 🥰🥰🥰🥰 that’s how I plan my meals for the month
Omg ur dumplings looks so yummy 😋 definitely gonna try 😊
Kristin, I always enjoy your videos! Lots of good ideas in this one. I'm going to make those oven roasted potatoes!
Hey girl, everything looked amazing. Love ya. ❤👍
Yeah, I am from Maine so we don't do slaw dogs. Mustard and relish. ;) But man I am craving some potato salad.
Hey Kristin!!! Love your channel. Was wondering why I hadn't seen any new posts lately.but have enjoyed your old ones. Keep on!!!
I just had sandwichs, I'm full and I'm drooling over the chicken & dumplings, I think I will toss my corn into the cooking pot
