You are a very clear and precise painter and even more so as a teacher. I have appreciated your videos very much, and have managed to see where I was going wrong with painting water. Jury is still out as to whether or not your step by step process has sunk in with painting crashing waves though! The proof will no doubt be in the pudding...or painting lol. This is a scene I see a lot from a cruise ship and is one I will paint next. I would also like to paint with other colors (reds, yellows, purples, or pink) sky. Any tutorials that would help guide me. I'm a 77 year old newbie.

Thanks for the reply. Since I am using normal acrylic paint (no availability of open acrylic in my region), can I add retarder gel in normal acrylic colors to have similar effects like I see in your paintings?

I taught myself how to paint, it is all up to the person, if you want to do it and love it, with practice, you can do it.

it is wet, it needs to be wet so the colors will blend
