I've been looking to work Swire into my take all comers list because of the shift in the kinds of operators I have access to. My logic is: -Warfarin takes up a healer slot when I'm already running Ptilopsis and usually either Gavial or Perfumer, depending on the map I might need both, especially if I also am bringing along Estelle as my off-tank. -I really like Angelina with her on demand AOE and global heals to supplement. I like how pationate you are about your guids. Good luck with keeping it going, dude. They have helped me a lot during those couple of month(or was it just a month and a bit?).
Sudden cuts to meme videos were a bit jarring, but good work nonetheless. Also, very smart synergies with Swire and various defender types. Forgot healing scaled off ATK for them as well.
It's funny because I saw swire as B+/A- in some Contingency Contract tier lists. It's an operator that is made to shine under certain situations where you build around her, but it seems going full ground is a thing in CC stages and each operator added around her is a really good boost. A shame I feel like having her potential at 5 is a must because the talent increase matters a lot due to how her skills work.
You answered some heavy concerns I had for Swire. So she might actually be a decent buffer in the right situations(I'm speaking from the fact that I have NO Sora or buffers for that matter) and she when you explained putting a ranged guard behind her for the bonus, I instantly thought either Lappland or Frostleaf whom can probably do wonders with that buff
I think another point should be made that Swire's buffs is a 3x3 box around her. The video kept pointing out that if she only buffs 2 units, but she can potentially buff like 5 other operators if they're melee attackers, right? So like she has a TON more potential on large flat zones like the video shows, therefore is a lot more powerful by like having a line of defenders/guards in a line in front, and like cliffheart or other 2 cell frontal attackers on either sides of her. Those with reach to attack beyond the defenders. Perhaps even the operators with turret-block ranges like Lappland, Silverash, or Frostleaf with their extended range at S1, so potentially even as far as saying she can buff a total of 9 melee types including herself.
I wanted Swire for meme strats involving stacking all the buffs on my Exusiai (or a super joke build like buffed Beehunter), but got two FEaters instead... I got Ch'en though. Edit: Oh, melee only. So... yeah. Beehunter memes. Warfarin/Swire/Sora. RIP the dream.
Very nice to highlight Swire's strengths, god knows she needs someone to give an in-depth analysis since at a glance she looks lackluster. Personally tho still not gonna use her on acct of having better guards but I hope this video reaches some doctors who have Swire and would've ignored her otherwise
Have they ever done any changes to characters already in the game for balance reasons? Swire's S2 feels like it could be quite good if they swapped it to time-regen instead of attack-regen.
Pause on 5:30, Swire is indeed bad, i've warned quite a few people off her since her 5 star rarity is pretty deceptive, she's essentually a better Dobermann, but the only way i would see her being a good operator is by increasing her stats a lot, giving her some more significant buffs on her skills and making her trait a lot better as a support because rn she's basically a dobermann not exclusive to 3 stars
When you can pull as guarantied Ifrit, Phantom, Firewatch and even Mulberry (don't have any elemental heal), and you recieve Swire, you CAN'T be happy :'(
Greyy is a good boy who deserves treats, headpats, and love, anyone who trashtalks my son gets yeeted off a rooftop. Good to that once again, the community exaggerate Swire. I see plenty of cases where an infinite attack buff for melees is helpful, plus that design and voice is 10/10
I think a problem about swire is that her buffs are not very useful at E1, because her skills are capped at lv 7 and talent is also not maxed out. For a support role that only starts to shine at E2 I think there's too much resources required. She can be a nice addition to the squad after you have some strong E2 operators but it's not a great idea to E2 Swire as your first few E2s.
So with that, we can also say that swire is good with chen due to the 1 sp every 4 seconds (at e2) and satia e2 passive.. (aint gonna put warfarin in there for her sp battery as swire is mostly a support guard and would want to use her buffs with other dps) My question is: how does the atk buff of swire stack with the atk buff of warfarin.. Assuming that warfarin is s2m3 and swire ape atk buff is at 24%.. does this mean that it is a whooping 114% atk buff or is there a diff calculation?
I didn't knew Manticore had a special kinf of slow. Does it stacks with Nightmare's ? I'd be interested in a guide for her ! Oh, and thank you for all your work, love your guides x)
I think you missed this in the video, but one other advantage Swire has over Sora is that she can block 2 enemies, which really helps catch enemies that slips past your frontliners. Her stats also somewhat complements this role, featuring low ATK, low HP but the highest DEF amongst all Guards and a low DP cost of 14-16 at E2.
Okay but just consider for a moment the potential devastation with a swire/silverash/ranged guard pile in the middle of a map somewhere. No ranged tiles? No problem!
So about SilverAsh (or Hellagur) and attack buffers: their synergy is bad because attack buffs stack additively. That is to say, SilverAsh S3M3 gives himself +200% attack for its duration, if you add Swire with her 12% passive bonus he's getting +212% attack with the skill active. So he deals 3.12x damage instead of 3x. It's just not worth buffing this type of operator when compared to others like Exusiai (whose own skill only increases number of attacks, not her attack stat) or Ch'en (whose skills deal a % of her current attack stat in damage rather than boosting the stat).
DeRickz Mastery Skills that need attacking to build SP while also requiring a lot of SP can’t be used repeatedly in an actual scenario, so she isn’t going to buff more than twice, maybe three times in a mission if your defense takes a little longer to kill which is more of a team wide problem if anything.
As Dreamy said in this vids her buffs are good, but the problem is the sp needed and she need to hit enemies to gain sp which make it has long downtime.
Can you make a video about snipers again? Recently I had got quite a few snipers but they are not on the list. Platinum as an example. Really helpful guides for me to pick between operators Thanks!
Thank you for making it so I didn't write off Swire! I got her as my guaranteed 5*. I tend to enjoy melee a lot, and like you mentioned there's a bit less top-tile room later on. Liskarm and Silverash being buffed by Swire GOOOO or should I say GAOOOOOO
Thanks Dreamy, been waiting for this! I've been wanting to find out about Swire's uses and numbers, especially moving forward with the game. I would like to do a Guardnights team, though not completely, mostly melee guards but with support like Ptilopsis and a few ranged for chapter 5 and beyond, and was thinking how she might fit into the picture to assist in that damage boost and placement. This has really helped a lot. Edit 1: Will Chen, Swire, FEater, Siege, Specter and Lappland work with just 1 healer and without defenders? Edit: I was apparently the 666th like.
Does she need a range increase? make her have 3 tiles range. That would make her S2 a lot more reliable. Wait has there been any ops buff/nerf yet since release?
you just gave me the impression that the CN community consists of 2 sides "savage is the worst 5*!" "no, swire is!" "savage!" "swire" "SAVAGE!" "SWIRE!"
Hey dreamy, had a question about Feater, why is it sometimes that she fails to push when Shaw does it perfectly fine, like there are instances where she doesn’t push enough, for example on the stage in which you bulli crown slayer by shoving her through a placed wall, Shaw will be able to do it perfectly every time, but the second time around Feater fails to push Crownslayer enough so crown slayer is still stuck in there
Lanz my Feater has same skill level, and as I mentioned before, first time around she manages to yeet crown through, but second time she fails, but Shaw is successful no matter what, and on other maps I seen Shaw have what appears to be a bigger area in which people is pushed (that second one I’m not too sure)
atk animation just like Dreamy say, Feater have faster animation than Shawn which mean if a slow enemy got into her atk range and she push it to "early", her skill wont have enough force to push the her target
SWIRE was "the worst 5* operator" ? LOL I love her since her skin's animations~~ it's really festive (also first time I had her) Never feel her to be bad~
They do but rarely. Exu, for example, got nerfed once since her talent that buffs a random ally used to stay even when she is withdrawn and people were abusing that in annihilation by constantly redeploying her and buffing the entire field. But yeah, that's the only buff/nerf I can think of atm.
@@ledoi5961 I think global will be more vocal than on these things so hopefully they see people want her to be buffed and they do it because her design is so cool but she is wasted.
@@F34RDSoldier805 Well, I don't think that's gonna happen until the global server has caught up to the CN server when it comes to content, even then chances are quite slim
Well I can understand why hypergryph doesn‘t want to buff or nerf any ops in what i‘d call the Wargamming Premiums effect. Since a lot of these operators CAN be get with real currency, how many people would be angry if you nerf an operator that they claimed they only get because that ops is OP and demanded a refund, how about buffing? How much buff is too much that people starts claiming the ops is p2w? Yeah there‘s a reason these gacha games rarely touch unit balances in these games, they only make content harder.

There's always room for "Ohoho"
E2'd btw
i can see myself dropping swire behind specter and use both skills for a mini death trap / stall square against bosses.
Popukar is called “Bobkar” in CN serve
Well if there's a horde of enemy, Warfarin can also help to regen sp, tho rngesus needs to give you miracles so the sp will focus on swire.
I'm here regarding the song that was used for outro at 11:46 on this video. What is the name of the song?
When you can pull as guarantied Ifrit, Phantom, Firewatch and even Mulberry (don't have any elemental heal), and you recieve Swire, you CAN'T be happy :'(
Swire is voiced by the one and only soramaru so that's enough reason to max her :D
Greyy is a good boy who deserves treats, headpats, and love, anyone who trashtalks my son gets yeeted off a rooftop.
Good to that once again, the community exaggerate Swire. I see plenty of cases where an infinite attack buff for melees is helpful, plus that design and voice is 10/10
You sure work quick xD
I think a problem about swire is that her buffs are not very useful at E1, because her skills are capped at lv 7 and talent is also not maxed out. For a support role that only starts to shine at E2 I think there's too much resources required.
She can be a nice addition to the squad after you have some strong E2 operators but it's not a great idea to E2 Swire as your first few E2s.
So with that, we can also say that swire is good with chen due to the 1 sp every 4 seconds (at e2) and satia e2 passive.. (aint gonna put warfarin in there for her sp battery as swire is mostly a support guard and would want to use her buffs with other dps)
My question is: how does the atk buff of swire stack with the atk buff of warfarin.. Assuming that warfarin is s2m3 and swire ape atk buff is at 24%.. does this mean that it is a whooping 114% atk buff or is there a diff calculation?
It would stack as you say (114%) because same type buffs are additive (which both Warfarin and Swire's Atk buffs are, along with Sora).
I didn't knew Manticore had a special kinf of slow. Does it stacks with Nightmare's ? I'd be interested in a guide for her !
Oh, and thank you for all your work, love your guides x)
Yes, any unique slow multiplicatively stacks with each other. Also, thanks!
I'm here for waifu and Swire definitely hits the mark.
Got Swire trying to go for Chen but she doesn’t fit my team comps so she’s going to be a base slave
I really like Swire's design and tried to roll for her and Ch'en...
3 6*, 5 5*.... all of them were off banner.
I guess it's not meant to be.
I have a very vanguard heavy team (I kept getting the good ones barring siege) i guess swire could work to support them
when u want chen but u get 4 swires instead
Okay but just consider for a moment the potential devastation with a swire/silverash/ranged guard pile in the middle of a map somewhere.
No ranged tiles? No problem!
question : is swire worse than sora, warfarin, aak, when buffing like silverash skill3, hellagur skill3 ?
I mean you are comparing 3 buffers vs 1
When I was reading up on Swire on Aceship, she seems like a perfectly fine buffer. Legit I don't get why people are saying she's bad.

It will come eventually.
@@LisaraScarlet Hooray!
Can we also do Stat comparison to other operator within the same role? I don't think comparing their stat to other same class and rarity means much.
I just came for swire and I will still invest in her
Thank you for making it so I didn't write off Swire!
It always depends on the maps.
Does she need a range increase? make her have 3 tiles range. That would make her S2 a lot more reliable.
Wait has there been any ops buff/nerf yet since release?
Nerf/buff only happened on the transition from CBT to OBT on CN servers.
So Swire is good, but I'd still most likely put someone like silver ash or lappland behind liskarm
you just gave me the impression that the CN community consists of 2 sides
"savage is the worst 5*!"
"no, swire is!"
"savage!"
"swire"
"SAVAGE!"
"SWIRE!"
Lol the third faction is "flamebringer trash"
getting spooked by Swire 4 times
-see worst 5* star ever ?-
Ah shet here we go again
Your guides are amazing!
What programs are you using for editing?
Adobe Premiere Pro CC
@@LisaraScarlet thanks for answering
I like swire with my skadi and nearl when i got no mat for E2 lol
Hey dreamy, had a question about Feater, why is it sometimes that she fails to push when Shaw does it perfectly fine, like there are instances where she doesn’t push enough, for example on the stage in which you bulli crown slayer by shoving her through a placed wall, Shaw will be able to do it perfectly every time, but the second time around Feater fails to push Crownslayer enough so crown slayer is still stuck in there
Its probably their skill level. My Feater pushes as much as my shaw at lvl 4 skill.
Lanz my Feater has same skill level, and as I mentioned before, first time around she manages to yeet crown through, but second time she fails, but Shaw is successful no matter what, and on other maps I seen Shaw have what appears to be a bigger area in which people is pushed (that second one I’m not too sure)
@@nebulus4700well... I can't help you with that sorry.
Their attack animation has difference.
atk animation just like Dreamy say, Feater have faster animation than Shawn which mean if a slow enemy got into her atk range and she push it to "early", her skill wont have enough force to push the her target
Popukar deserves some love... Q w Q ♡
Just pulled Swire today and since she has no real synergy with my strats I guess I'm gonna put her in the base for now. Great video.
Does Swire s2 also take to long even with sp battery units?
45 cost is still pretty big.
I want Greyy so badly!!! :3
I can't seem to find the song at 5:24 mark. Is it from AK or another game?
ddd fesready arknights
@@LisaraScarlet Thanks! I was digging through more OST lists and I found it!
So what youre saying is... I can do a tripple attack buff with Sora, Warfarin, and Swire?
SWIRE was "the worst 5* operator" ? LOL I love her since her skin's animations~~ it's really festive (also first time I had her) Never feel her to be bad~
Tfw you got Swire before Greyy, Popukar and Midnight!!
80 rolls on the skadi banner, no midnight, like is this a joke or smth
Rich Tiger Swire please bless me with those money T-T
Gonna E2 Swire as soon as i can just because she's lovely.
Great guide as always dreamy btw is there no part 2 of the summon stream?
None cause there's too few wanting to participate.
@@LisaraScarlet damn mine got skipped then sad
@@a.t410 Really? You should've said something on the stream. Sorry!
@@a.t410 If you haven't summoned yet, maybe you can hop on my discord and stream it, or I can do a small stream for you there. Not youtube.
@@LisaraScarlet nah its okay maybe on schawrz banner?
Swire and Sora tag team for the buffest teams in all of Rhodes Island.
3:00 I mean mostima?
Would love to see a pdf link actually since my connection is absurdly slow atm :/
So what would be more effective in a 1line deffense? Lappland+Guard or swire+Guard?
Lapp+Guard. It only takes 17 SP for Lapp to activate her skill. It's a bad comparison though cause Swire can buff more than just one operator.
what was the song you used at the start of the video after the jingle?
What? I dont even know that Swire is considered to a Trash.. i just plan to E2 ing her after SA. With Her Buff, SA will go crazy
Will i ever level Swire? probably not.
Will i ever take her out as my assistant? Absolutely not.
GAOOOOO
I dont like Swire because if we have to max out her talent, which is not really F2P
can u make franka video?
Do they ever buff characters in this game? I want Swire to be buffed. I don't see any use in her as she is, but the way she looks is great. Bummer.
@@ledoi5961 I can hope
Well I can understand why hypergryph doesn‘t want to buff or nerf any ops in what i‘d call the Wargamming Premiums effect. Since a lot of these operators CAN be get with real currency, how many people would be angry if you nerf an operator that they claimed they only get because that ops is OP and demanded a refund, how about buffing? How much buff is too much that people starts claiming the ops is p2w? Yeah there‘s a reason these gacha games rarely touch unit balances in these games, they only make content harder.
