    Savior - in a sense that admin tasks and analysis will be more efficient. Stakeholder manangement, risk management, and team coordination/leadership/facilitation is not replaced by the tool.

    PMO Savior. This will definately save a lot time and speed up PM processes. Looking forward to more features explored by AI.

    It is basically a wrapper for AI and feeding it with context. Totally a game changer for PMs and maybe even threatening PMs for some junior positions.

    • @TEverettReynolds
      @TEverettReynolds หลายเดือนก่อน

      OK, but if it eliminates junior positions, how will those people go on to become senior-level resources in the future? Across all industries, it seems like we run the risk of eliminating the supply of entry-level and junior-level positions, which will only create a shortage of qualified senior-level resources in the future.

      @@TEverettReynolds You are right. The young at this point are f*cked.

    • @HideBuz

      @@TEverettReynolds This is sadly where this all is headed. The AI apocalypse is an existential threat to juniors in all fields. But shareholder pressure will force most companies to one war or another adopt it.

    The chat function in the hands of C-level executives can produce undesirable churn. AI cannot control the context of the answer, it is just the answer. The executives can prompt AI chat and be triggered to cause disruption in the PMO. IMO - There is a need to address some protocols in how AI is used.

      Not only C-level but to anyone who believes AI is like a god and cannot be wrong. I recall many moons ago doing FEA (finite Element Analysis) and one of the challenge was to be able to evaluate the consistency of the results. If you were expected a stress level between 10 and 30N/m² and the FEA calculation gave you 100N/m² you needed to realize something was wrong somewhere and not simply take the 100N/m². Here with AI this is the same thing. The big issue is that it is far more reachable than FEA and anyone can use this tool and without proper training many will be unrepeable mistakes.

      You raise a valid concern about the potential for AI chat functions to create disruption, especially in the hands of C-level executives. Establishing clear protocols and guidelines for AI usage can mitigate this risk and ensure that AI is used responsibly and effectively within the PMO. It's essential to prioritize context-awareness and communication standards to maintain productivity and minimize churn.

    Like any piece of software. Shit in, shit out. As you highlighted Stuart, The capability of that tool relies primarily on the data Project Manager, PMO etc.. enter in the first place. What it is not mentioned in the video is their software also include external information. For instance, when asked about the idea. Does the answer come only from the data in the datamodel (ie existing projects) or does it also go online and do some market research.
    Such tool is just an evolution of previous improvement. Who remember excel back in the late 90's ? Today Excel automate a lot of the tasks for us. This demo is nothing else a continuation in that direction. I think Markus gave us an hint that if you are a "study" PMO, the tool will not really help you. I see such tool as adding value to your own work. The more you understand how this works, the more you can collaborate with it and make use of it to your advantage.
    I appreciate this is only a demo and I noticed that most answers provided were very generic. I hope the final version will be more specific.
    So for some it will be a PMO killer, for other savior, depending on your attitude to change and adoption of new technology.

    Regarding text, using ChatGPT from its early iteration and currently, I do a lot of editing to its text, but it does speed things up a bit for sure when communicating with the CEO.

    IMO -AI is here to stay, PMO savior. I would rather use AI to help me do my job better rather than do useless tasks. That said I am very new to PM and come from a Software development background. I hate doing repetitive and boring tasks myself, if a tool helps me I am all for it. There will always be something new to do.

    How much is it? And for a fresh graduate will it help in day to day tasks??

    • @AkshayKumar10xTech
      @AkshayKumar10xTech 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The pricing for ChatGPT can vary depending on usage and subscription plans. As a fresh graduate, ChatGPT can certainly assist with day-to-day tasks by providing quick answers, generating ideas, or even drafting emails. However, its effectiveness may depend on your specific needs and how well you integrate it into your workflow.
