Awesome video! Thank you for this content. Are there any resources that PMs can learn to improve their skills and be marketable in the industry?

I am finishing my business master degree. Is project management still worth it? Or should I aim for something else? If so, what?

We may be a bit biased, but all the trends reports we look at seem to indicate that project management as a skill is actually growing in demand. (We released a video on it recently if you're interested!)
But it is nuanced: in a digital world with businesses rapidly innovating and transforming to stay competitive, projects are a business catalyst, and the ability to lead a project is an asset for almost any professional. However, it’s not just about building timelines and sending status reports anymore-it’s about leadership, adaptability, and creative problem solving to deliver business impact that is greater than the investment into the project. AI might replace some PM tasks, but in the process it’s elevating the importance of the project manager as a people leader who can think strategically and navigate complexity in a way that AI can’t (yet).
      Hope this helps! 💙

Respectfully your video is wrong. When you automate tasks, and use tools like ChatGPT, Co Pilot, Etc. There’s just going to be less work for the PMO. Then you ask somebody who is in the twilight of their career. Who probably has a nest egg and can retire today. Respectfully, it would be more helpful if you brought on an employer that handles consulting, project management, Spend money on upkeeping a PMO. If AI can take notes for you, handle, budget, handle schedule, Make memos and PowerPoint, Then you’re just going to need less project coordinators, managers, junior level professionals in the traditional project. There is going to be less barrier between technical and the business itself.
