Regarding pets falling of boats, at night when arriving at anchor and the water was flat and the aft lantern was on attracting bugs, our cat decided to jump after the bugs not realizing there was water underneath. A very wet and very disappointed cat was hoisted back on board using the leach he had on. :)
Haha, poor cat though. Animals sure can be susceptable to that. Ollie doens't usually catch anything though. I'm hoping he doesn't catch a wasp

How do you mean?
Why rush with mooring when docking. It should be the last thing to do before turning off the engine
