This was always my daughter’s favourite. We must’ve read it about a dozen times and the film I don’t even know… thirty at least 😂.
I think there’s a charm to it of simplicity, sitting between childhood and adolescence before the Lore really starts inflating. And it’s peculiar that it has nearly no mention of Voldemort, kind of like a standalone episode in the series.

It’s been so long since I read it. Interesting to hear how different it is from the movie

It is interesting to look at differences in adaptations. Especially when so many consider book 3 to be their favorite, and movie 3. But really, they’re quite different.
