Hey Santee ! The last part Steve McQueen played was Ralph "Papa" Thorson , a real life Bounty Hunter . He did his work during the later 20th century though . There is a type of candy bar in Britain named Bounty . They're smaller than a roll of paper towels and harder to hit , but I reckun they'd make better eating . I think a .22 would be the weapon of choice on a Bounty bar hunt . Anything bigger would probably blow 'em to pieces . Another great video . Thanks , from South Carolina.

Good episode. Bounty hunters were iconic in Western history but definitely had a mixed reputation by the 1880s. You nailed it when you said that bounty hunters dressed for practicality.
Gimme Gimmie!! If I could go back in time to the Old West, I would probably try to be a cross between a Townsperson and Cowboy, I like the feeling wearing boots, a waistcoat, a suit, and a holstered revolver under said suit.

I got into the channel with the Red Dead 2 video (old west history has always been insanely interesting to me because I grew up watching western shows and movies with my family, but Red Dead reignited my addiction to it haha) you guys are an amazing source for history and fun facts from the time period. I've been telling many of my friends about you guys to see if they build the same interest. I've even become very interested in western re-enactment thanks to you guys. Arizona Ghostriders My grandmother taught me how to sew so i think that next time, can you talk about different fabric choices of the old west. I am currently searching for a tailoring book and i cant find one with neccessary details. And do one on how they sew there garments in the old west. It's a subject i cant seem to find any videos about. One what type of sewing machine or something engineered to help them sew is a great topic : ).
