Hey Santee ! The last part Steve McQueen played was Ralph "Papa" Thorson , a real life Bounty Hunter . He did his work during the later 20th century though . There is a type of candy bar in Britain named Bounty . They're smaller than a roll of paper towels and harder to hit , but I reckun they'd make better eating . I think a .22 would be the weapon of choice on a Bounty bar hunt . Anything bigger would probably blow 'em to pieces . Another great video . Thanks , from South Carolina.

I got into the channel with the Red Dead 2 video (old west history has always been insanely interesting to me because I grew up watching western shows and movies with my family, but Red Dead reignited my addiction to it haha) you guys are an amazing source for history and fun facts from the time period. I've been telling many of my friends about you guys to see if they build the same interest. I've even become very interested in western re-enactment thanks to you guys. I found your channel from your food videos (frontier desserts and odd food of the old west) within other search prompts... I'm a chef, so I love learning about the roots of what I do/prepare both in the states and abroad, (hence the other [culinary] searches) and I've always loved learning accurate (as can be) accounts of American history, mostly civil war and the few decades following... obviously I've since subscribed and am just now pleasantly familiarizing myself with your channel as an whole, so I look forward to viewing both past and future videos from y'all🍻

My grandmother taught me how to sew so i think that next time, can you talk about different fabric choices of the old west. I am currently searching for a tailoring book and i cant find one with neccessary details.
And do one on how they sew there garments in the old west. It's a subject i cant seem to find any videos about. One what type of sewing machine or something engineered to help them sew is a great topic : ).

Really loving the content you folks put out; very informative, enjoyable and a lot of fun too. I’m trying to get into re-enacting this coming year (Civil War specifically), so I admire what you guys do. I’d be interested to see how you guys get into character as well sometime! Maybe, if you haven’t done so already (still exploring the videos on your channel at the time of this comment), you could do a video explaining re-enacting and where/how to get the right clothing, accessories, etc.
