I lived around Indy for many years. I always like around Beech Grove and Greenwood area. If I was looking, those are the area's I would be looking into.
Hi Seun, thanks for watching! If we decide to make a follow-up video with additional areas Whitestown would be a good one to add. Thanks for the suggestion!
Just stumbled onto your youtube, my wife and I plan to move to Carmel in 2024. We like the West Clay neighborhood as we live in one like it now in Geneva, IL. Are there other low maintenance, mixed use planned neighborhoods in north-west suburban Indy that are similar to West Clay? Someone told us to check out Stonegate in Zionsville. Thanks for any ideas.
The Village of West Clay is definitely the most prominent and established mixed-used neighborhood on the NW side of Indy. Stonegate is another solid choice, but unlike the Village of West Clay, many parts of it are still under construction. There are multiple other mixed-use projects under various phases of development all around the Indy area (multiple projects in Fishers, downtown Indy, and west side of Indy), but nothing else specifically in the NW zone where you are looking. Hope this helps, and feel free to contact me directly if you want additional information on any of these areas. Thanks again for watching!
@@geesamanhomes Thanks so much for replying to my question. We plan to drive around the area when I am there for the Zionsville Half Marathon later this year. Because of family, we do need to stay in the northwest/west of Indianapolis. Will reach out by phone if other questions arise. Thank you for your help and your videos. 😃
There are a lot of great areas to live in around Indy, and Carmel is one of them. If you want help finding a home in the area I would love to help! Thanks for watching!
Hi Jose, thanks for watching! You will definitely get more house for your money in Muncie vs the suburbs in and around Indianapolis. If you are interested in an area you are unfamiliar with I suggest to all of my clients that you do some research on the school systems, crime rates and other related housing data so you are informed before you make a decision on exactly where you want to live. Hope you have a great day!
And yet Livability just named Carmel the #1 small city in America again, for quality of life and numerous other criteria. I mention this to counter your unnecessary comments around our "boring" state. Sales tip: If selling, stick with features and benefits and omit the need to feel "balanced or objective". Zionsville village resident and I'm not sure you accurately assessed the age of homes.
Which area is your favorite, and why? Let us know in the comments below!
