Jason your videos are great. I wish the city of Indianapolis or the state would hire you to make official tourism or relocation videos. Keep up the good work.
Do you think you can do an updated video of Brownsburg? I know there’s a lot of new downtown developments planned and a couple being built right now. I definitely think Brownsburg is under the radar.
Yes, there’s traffic downtown, but there’s not stopped traffic because there’s roundabouts. So it’s not just a bunch of cars sitting in traffic waiting for the light to turn.
I don't recognize Carmel anymore. I am curious about what all has been removed to put in this whole new city. Reminds me of some of the suburbs of northern Atlanta or Celebration, Florida.
I've visited Carmel a couple of times in the mid-2010s actually. I visited the mall there it was pretty empty but it was a weekday. I wish I had paid more attention to the place.
I wouldn't want to move to a suburb especially seeing Carmel and how easy it is to walk to places instead of driving and living so far from everything. I've started to hate suburbs as I have gotten older. America needs to get over its obsession with suburbs and ruining the land.
Good lord man, took you four minutes to get to a point. You aren't even in the downtown area, and your videos are old compared to what when you posted them. "Busy" doesn't mean traffic. It's free flowing.
Don't worry, it's White with a smidge of oriental; so low crime, pleasant, and well-maintained. Made it much easier buying, I found. Didn't have to ask the real-estate agent those awkward indirect questions to gauge what level of bantu menace was in the offing. The cops also tend to pull over older vehicles, which the riff-raff find rebarbative or "some bullshit, mang" as I heard one of them put it.
@@thelemurishere oriental it's such an outdated thing to say, but i agree that places without ghetto (or middle eastern immigrants that try to rape woman who are not wearing hijab) are so much better than overly diverse places.

Thanks! Appreciate that
My husband and I are so excited to join this community when we get out of the military! Thank you for the videos!
You bet!
I am from Carmel, born and raised. Best place in the world!!
Hi Jason Compton, awesome video about Carmel, Indiana!

I agree. Brownsburg is very under the radar. I'm a big fan of the place. I'll be getting some updated videos about it soon.

I have lived in Indianapolis for quite a while but have never been to any of the surrounding areas. I may have to visit some of these places up north.
For sure!

Carmel looked nothing like this then. It started getting built up 2015/2016.

Oo interesting thanks.

I live in Carmel. There isn't a mall here. Are you referring to Clay Terrace which is an outdoor shopping center?
@@wks4511
Oh yes that one. Scattered stores you visit on foot.
My in laws live here so I might explore the neighborhood a bit and go into Indy too
Shout out from Westfield. Carmels little brother🙃
Hey, bit of an odd question, but how common are ticks in the Indianapolis area and its surrounding suburbs?
Lived here 20+ years and have never had any ticks. I don’t think one of my friends or family have even had a tick. So, I don’t think they are common.
I feel it is one of the safer places to live in the US that isn’t a desert I am phobic of ticks (Lyme disease) and this was a deciding factor for me.
This is busy? Im sorry WHAT? This is not Traffic

Eh, suburbs arent bad, just car dependency in general.
It is a great small to mid size city but if you want to have many options it might not be it.
Low Crime rate in US. That makes a lot of difference.
