- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

I have never seen many vultures congregated in one spot. I was so fascinated by this, I had to google vultures to find out why so many were roosting together. I learned that vultures are very social and prefer to fly, hunt, and roost in groups. They communicate with each other about food sources. When they fly in large groups, it's called kettleing. Thanks, Post 10. Because of this video, I learned something new.
my boy Will in MS is going to love some local content,. Thanks for posting. have a great day!
I'm from Mississippi as well but from the south. Love to see you stomping around our parts. Come back and stay a while. Safe travels
Love your abandon places videos .
But also just love your channel
Hope you have a happy 2025
Really cool buildings, thank you for showing us. Rust College has owned the buildings since 2008 and had issues getting funding for restoration. In 2022 they got a $500K grant for preservation work on the main hall, which is probably where all that new material has come from.
Always a great day when post uploads
Wow! The history there. So historical. Thank you 😊 for taking us along. 🙏
I know exactly where this is! I used to drive by it all the time when I would make trips back home from university! So neat seeing it here on your channel
I live in Mississippi and see these every time I visit my grandma in Holly Springs. I always thought they were cool and seeing the vultures added a fun creepiness.
Thank you for sharing this. I love these old buildings.
what a brautiful place .i wonder how it would have been looked back in haydays .
and vultures are also my favourite .
we do have so many things common thats why i subscribed to your channel to see every amazing thing u done .
it gives vibes of game LAST OF US .
❤
Fascinating to watch, thanks for sharing this post 10..👏
I am down the road on 311, welcome to Mississippi!
9:51 posty is so wholesome 🥰
These buildings and their location on the property they’re on reminds me of that old abandoned/historical sight you surveyed once. They had also refurbished parts of those buildings.
Also, come to Oklahoma and do some exploring. There’s plenty of lakes, most water line of any state. And pleeeeenty of abandoned places especially off old Route 66. You could probably find some culverts to unblock too if you wanted, the state does a lousy job of keeping up with them.
You're a true Horsefighter!!❤❤
Nice, i live by an old school, not that old, but its was abondoned for a long time. Some one baught it and has been preserving it. Was neat walking through the old playground basketball court had foot wide trees at half court
brother i really appreciate every bit of content you put out, minus the food stuff on the other channel lol. thank you for the years ive been able to watch all of your adventures 👍🏻👍🏻
I love when you explore stuff.
explore and camping
Hey Buddy. Thanks for the entertainment, so relaxing to watch your adventures. Have followed your channels for a couple of years. Have a tip for you that i havent seen you show in your videos. If you need to clean the glas in your stoves, use ash on a wet cloth. It will remove the sod very efficiently leaving it polished.
come to hot springs! i live herer and there is a ton of wondertful exploration to be had. thamk you again for everything good sir 👍🏻
Thank you for sharing!🏚
i have always lived in alabama and i think its very comforting to always look up and see huge birds in the sky. you will always see at least one vulture or hawk in the sky.
Thanks Post!!! Happy new year!!
Beautiful old world / mud flood buildings.
Pretty cool find man love when you explore these places
Where I'm at here in Southern Indiana. I've seen hundreds and hundreds at Once in Cannelton Indiana at the Ball Park. Next time they are there I will record it and put it up on TH-cam... Love this channel
They were actually following you, curious to see where you are going. 😄
I lived in New Mexico for about 10 years and vultures were visible every day out out front door flying over the desert. Quite remarkable to see how graceful they can be.
They looks like really cool buildings❤
1:21 Agreed. Theater/Auditorium.
The building @ 1:03 with the wheelchair ramp is newer.
Growing up in The Bronx my friends and I always played in abandoned buildings.Old abandoned buildings like this one are fascinating.
Thank you Post 10, for another great video. It's a shame they let that once beautiful architecture go like that. You can tell it once was bustling with students
Wow that's a pretty neat find post 10 Ohio has a Bunch of pretty old buildings as well
Thank you for posting.🎉
Idk if you've ever seen the first season of True Detective but this reminds me of that so much.
Holly Springs, MS, just twenty minutes from me. Thought I felt post10 in the area the other day!!
Old world buildings are impressive. Not like the trash we build these days. Sad we let them fall into disrepair like this.
Welcome to Mississippi.
You live a fun life, my friend.
Amazing, wonder what this area was back in the day?
Best to stay out of crumbling structures.
Awesome!!!
Vultures are nature’s clean up crew, but maybe they like ghosts too. Adds to a spookiness. 👻🐦⬛
Nice buildings they should have upkept them and restored 'em they're historical buildings, it's a shame.
hmmm...not too far from where I live! nice Post 10, we've got plenty of abandoned buildings, schools, and some deserted towns in the state.
Come to Louisiana, you're only a state away. we would love to have you visit!!!👋👋👋
You should checkout the abandoned stretch of Interstate 44 in Tulsa Oklahoma if you are ever in the area.
Makes you think… why don’t they just repurpose abandoned buildings instead of letting them rot away and slowly become a eyesore
Because buildings like this require a ton of maintenance
It's Holly Springs, MS. There ain't much there but agriculture. They lost a good amount of their population due to mechanization of agriculture, with a lot of folks moving north in the great migration for work.
The original school, like all HBCU's saw their enrollment drop with desegregation. Rust college, the second oldest HBCU in MS took it over but it ain't cheap to do hazmat abatement and restoration.
I agree it's a shame, but it's sort of the issue with the US. Lots of cheap land and people can move easily for work and other opportunities.
It's the natural result of low level of central government, which the people vote for. It's the me myself and I mentality of Americans who apparently don't mind the lousy state of the public domain that is a result of that. America looks like a dump, but the Musks and Zucherbergs don't care, they have private planes and shaded limousines, so they don't have to see it.
Hi Post ✌️
I live about 30 min from there! And yes we have a ridiculous amount of vultures
Cool buildings
I am amazed at the fact that there's no trash or graffiti
Very interesting, but why are all those vultures there. Great place to make a scary movie. Thanks for sharing.
Cool find! Too bad you couldn't explore more inside.
If you lied down on the grass and did not move would the vultures come over to check if you were dead?
I'm not sure if that's how it works. They might. They follow around to animals that look like they're weak
@@post.10No, they would not. A live human lying on the grass wouldn't fool a vulture. These are Turkey Vultures and they rarely take live prey. When they do, it is small birds or mammals. Usually sickly and dying ones. Black Vultures take live prey more often than Turkey Vultures, but they still would not be fooled by a live human lying still. Vultures have the best olfactory sense of all birds. They can tell the difference between live prey and scavenging prey.
You probably already do but just in case, be sure you always lock your truck even if you are only a short distance from it. Some people will steal any chance they get and thry can pop out of nowhere. Stay safe Post, glad to see you down South. Ever come to Arkansas?
I returned through arkansas
@@post.10 I live in the Little Rock area off of I-530. What parts did you get to see? It is a beautiful state. Only crappy people make things “bad”. You should come stay & visit the Crater of Diamonds for a vid or two digging for diamonds or just checkout all the state parks. Your lady may enjoy it too. Love your content and love seeing you happy. Thank you for sharing! I wish you all the best! - Sunny in Arkansas
We have Buzzards in Mississippi.. not Vultures 😂😂. You weren’t far from me here.
Cool, thanks for sharing
How's the chickens at home? Haven't seen a video with them in awhile.
Look at my shorts. I showed them last week
Neat looking buildings... Def vultures. We have them in NJ, to.. they will trash pick... They are so big. Look like turkeys ... turkey vultures
You're so close to Louisiana! How awesome! There is a super cool school near me if you're interested!
There’s beauty in decay
I’ve been watching your videos for a few years and live there in Holly Springs. What brought you to Mississippi ?
Just be careful a friend of mine fell through a floor and now he has a scar going from his groin up to his throat. You'll be very careful and sometimes it's the people in there Then the building.
I saw that on the local news. You guys are the ones that got caught busting out all the windows in that place I remember that.
A fascinating place. I wonder if the vultures live inside the buildings. I’ve never seen so many in one spot. They acted like they were guarding the place. 🙂
New game take a drink every time Post says vultures 😂😂
Vultures coming home to roost for the night, a bunch of them hang around the local water like that, several of them used to roost in a dead tree behind me aunts house dont know if they still do or not.
Post, did any of the vultures try to poop on you? A few of them looked guilty?
Hi Post 👋
It looks like a school and/or orphanage. Vultures sit atop a water tower in my area down by the Walmart. There's a bunch of them. I've wondered why they chose that spot.
🍁
what happened to the dog? I remember you had one
He said in a video, he left it to either family or some other people to take care of it. As it was too problematic and time consuming, to take care of a dog, making videos, and travelling at the same time.
@ oh that’s sad, didn’t he have a girlfriend who used to come as well?
Last video i remember her being in, was the pumpkin pie video.
I loved seeing so many vultures, they are amazing creatures that don't get enough respect, I know some places will shoot off small cannons to scare them off, which I find sad. They need places to roost just as much as we do.
It looks like it was once a grand place; it's a bit sad to see it out of use. But, I guess everything has its day.
Can’t wait for winter camping 2-3hrs long!!!
Mississippi itself is abandoned looking
ok, all those vultures was creepy. Cool buildings tho!
Have u been to the abandoned college campus near malrboro county in Vermont?
Not yet
Is it an old school perhaps??
👍👍
Better be careful, I heard Jeepers creepers thing is in there.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Closed in 1982 in 1999 it was trying to get preserved by the alumni sold in 2008
What I could have done with that brick back in my day!
Camp out!
I just call em buzzards 😂
What part of Arkansas will you be exploring? I'm viewing you from NW Ark.
Just passing through. I don't think I filmed anything there other than a vlog
A goldmine once restored...
Based on your travels, I can assume you are traveling through Memphis? Lemme know if you plan to visit any of the abandoned big buildings while you're there or are looking for suggestions!!
why not go inside?
@@sourheadlitup5966 i think you missed the part where it's dangerous
Is it haunted
You say we all the time, who is we are going to be in Tennessee in about an hour, who is we? Who are you traveling with to say we? Just asking.
You
No worries, all those vultures were breaking for LUNCH LOL...
WHY WONT Y GO ALL WAY IN THROUGH BUILDING
Because I have the common sense to know it's dangerous
So it's been abandoned for 40 years do you know why they abandoned it
Probably cost too much
That is around the corner from me.
Be a good place to go metal detecting.
To think what was the time when these buildings and campus was attended by students back in the day….
We call them buzzards.
