Pard'ner!!!! You are an absolute genius! It's a Sunday my mouth is watering for a pizza and my oven won't come on. No appliance techs on a Sunday. Then you come along and tell me a little bit of cotton is standing in the way of me and my pizza?!?!? I would have never thunk it. 😂 Thanks again my guy! 🤠 👍🏻👍🏻
Mine has been stuck for probably over 2 weeks now and I had been trying everything, I was ready to buy a new stove. Thank you so very much, you are the real MVP 🤙
thank you i been trying to figure this out for 2 days watching you for 2 minutes and it took longer to find the screw driver to take it out cause mine was a Philips screw
Torx (pronounced /tɔːrks/) is a trademark for a type of screw drive characterized by a 6-point star-shaped pattern and An Allen wrench, also known as a hex key, is a small hand tool used to fasten screws or bolts with a hexagonal socket. This fastener that I removed required an allen wrench as you can see by the hexogonal shape of the wrench. Yes mice could have helped to move the insulation into the path of the switch but moving the lever caused it to bind up the switch. Thank you for watching and I appreciate all comments.

Glad I could help you out
I tried doing this and it still says that the door is locked. Any tips?
I would guess that the switch is bad. If you have a volt meter you could check the switch to be sure it is working.
NO Not allen, ITS a TORX screw
NO not moving lock arm ! its MICE or RATS
