There are several components to learning human anatomy. One plan I found that succeeds in merging these is the Sebs Study Crammer (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the no.1 course that I have ever seen. Check out this super resource.

Good day Armando, i have started watching your videos recently and noticed, that you mentioned that the autonomic nervous system arises from the central nervous system, but according to literature, it arises from the Peripheral Nervous system.

hello, I love your videos. They are just perfect for med school. Appreciate the hard work. I just wanted to add that the adrenal gland secretes more of the adrenaline or epinephrine as compared to noradrenaline or norepinephrine. ( may be you have explained it in later videos) The way you show us that NE from the postganglionic neurons OR via the adrenals or both controls the SANS is so easy to understand and ceases confusion about the neurotransmitters responsible for each system! thank you!
Bless you guys for such good work!

These are great Armando, they enlighten so much of our understanding of such life systems. I wish you might have spent a moment mentioning an explanation of the female equivalent of the sympathetic and para for what occurs and results with those nerves. That area is always so missing and bereft of attention and it's sad contemplating why that is so.

Wonderful video. This is fantastic. It might be good to include the fact that the adrenal is the major source of adrenalin/epinephrine in the body. That's significant, as adrenalin/EPI has significantly greater affinity for the beta-2 adrenergic receptor than does NE, and so is important for mediating sympathetic effects on smooth muscle of skeletal muscle vasculature, as well as gluconeogenesis and relaxation of airway smooth muscle. If you included that, this video would be perfect!

Greetings in Jesus name our Lord and saviour, are you interested in hearing about the Gospel of Jesus Christ who is our lord and savior? Originally man lived in pure happiness with God in Paradise but we sinned by disobeying God by eating fruit from the forbidden tree, because of this we were thrown out of Paradise and onto this earth, as we stubbornly found pleasure in eating from the forbidden tree although there were better trees to eat from in the Garden of Eden. God loves us so much that he made a way for us to enter back into paradise by sending his only son Jesus to die for our sins so that he can give us eternal life and save us from death and eternal punishment in Hell. Here is a pray that you and others can say to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour.
Father in Heaven I receive your son Jesus as my Lord and saviour, I confess my sins and I ask you to forgive me for all my sins, wash and cleanse me and everything pertaining to me with the blood of your son Jesus and wash away all my spots, blemishes and wrinkles with the blood of your son Jesus. Father God in Heaven fill me with your Holy spirit every moment of my life and give me infinite oil for my spiritual lamps. I forgive and release all those who have done me wrong and I ask you to bless them and write my name permanently in the lambs book of life in Heaven in Jesus name I pray amen.
Here is another pray to break curses and bind demons in our lives.
Father God in Heaven I break and loose myself and my family from all curses going all the way back to Adam and Eve and I bind every demon and demonic influence in my life and in my family life permanently in Jesus name. I command all demons in my life and in my family life and those around me to leave and never return in Jesus name. Father God send your legions of Angels to fight for me until the end and send your ministering angels to keep ministering to me and always guide and protect me from all evil, I command Satan to get thee behind me and all of Gods creatures in Jesus name I pray amen.
Pray always and study the KJV Bible to know more about Jesus and God's plan for our lives. Jesus bless you. Please pass on this message.

    OTHERS:I frightened away from lion...
ME:My sympathetic NS was stimulated and my parasympathetic NS was inhibited.. most of the information was arising from the thoracic and lumbar region of my spinal cord..the information from the thoracic and lumbar region was stimulating the sympathetic, celiac and inferior mesenteric ganglion and was promoting them forward to the receptors of eyes to dilate them, releasing noradrenaline on my salivary glands to inhibit salivation and my airways were relaxed..the information from the CNS were using my short lightly myelinated preganglionic neurons that were releasing acetylcholine on ganglion of long unmyelinated postganglionic neurons because it released noradrenaline on heart receptors to increase my heart activity...and my CN 3,CN7,CN9 and vagus nerve were completely useless during this situation...Also my sacral region of my spinal cord was out of use...

  • @kailizeng3667

I have a question: doesn't the spinal cord end at L1/L2? It is the reason why lumbar punctures are relatively safe to perform.

Thanks Man for beter undestending, and for awekaning my interest for neuroanatomy. I passed the exam from anatomy on Belgrade (Serbia) 🇷🇸 Faculty of medicine 2003.year. Later I didn't finished Faculty but love for anatomy preserved. I didn't become a doctor, but I finished Higher school for physiotherapists. I think that you made one mistake. Maybe I am not right so corect me if I am not right.
When You say that preganglic simpathetic nerve from Lumbar segments goes to regulate the funtion of glandula suprarenalis and stimulates the secretion of adrenalin and noradrenalin I think that is mistake. Corect is in my opinion that simphatetic nerves from toracal segments (certanly T10, T11, and maybe part of the T12, that I am not sure) of spinal cord-called Nervi splanhnici thoracici goes to Ganglion aorticorenale and then from that Ganglion simpathetic fibres goes to Glandula suprarenalis and stimulates secretion of hormons:adrenalin and noradrenalin. Regards from Belgrade, I am so happy to watch and listen Your presentations and I must tell You One Big Thank You Man. All the best in further work, because in that way you helps many young students of Medicine. Are You concious of that. Bravisimo and again thanks for awekaning my interest for anatomy of CNS and PNS. Be well and health. ПОЗДРАВ МАЈСТОРЕ И СВАКА ТИ ЧАСТ! МИЛАН САВИЋ

Great video! Thank you. Is there anyway we are able to download your "images" from these videos so I can print them and memorize them?
    Cheers
