You have put multiple nursing programs to shame! Thank you so much for actually instructing and helping me learn cranial nerves in a relatable way. Kudos to you!!!!!!!
I thank you so much for this video. It actually prevented me from reading the whole chapter. You analyzed every nerve and made it very easy to understand and remember. This was so helpful because I have a quiz to take by midnight so this really helped me.
Brain surgery 2 years ago due to aneurysm clipping and lost sense of taste and smell for 18 months.... Nobody said anything about CN1 and CN7 to me. Thanks for the knowledge And the little man’s face at the end to remember all the nerve locations was absolute gold
Actually your loss of smell (and taste to follow, which is 90% smell) probably had nothing to do with the olfactory nerve , but rather the olfactory mucosa...
@@CYoung-bf5uz Don’t quite know what that means or rather I don’t know what that means but I will have a look and get back to you, thank you for your insight and comment.
One of the best videos I've watched to help remember the 12 cranial nerves. Great job on breaking it down, labeling it different colors, & with better mnemonics. Thank you
Loved this! I am a DPT (physical therapy) student and we are doing NM testing at the moment, I was really hoping you would have the next video up! Would definitely decrease my stress and help with my learning.
Glad you liked it! Sorry the next one is not out. As I was working on a collection of Neuro videos, COVID happened and really put life and this channel into a tailspin for a while. I do promise to get to it eventually. Just not sure when yet.
@@ICUAdvantage i was so excited when i heard about a more detailed lesson and i couldn't find it:(( lovely explanation though, you should teach my teacher how to teach
Usually I watch without comments but your video was so gooood that I have to say how great it was! The graphics, very precise and brief info, the picture face to remember was also worth mentioning. Keep up the great work!
I am a new graduate Registered Nurse in an ICU! we see a lot of trauma, especially neurotrauma, and brain bleeds so this is very helpful! love the drawing on how to remember the functions of each nerve. This video has been very helpful, you have earned my subscription! Thanks a lot :)
Awesome to hear Jade and welcome aboard! Congrats on the new position too. I do have other lessons in the playlist. Or you can look through the list of videos and look for the other purple ones. Definitely some ones that will be helpful for you. I started out in Trauma myself, so def a special place with me.
Thank you for this video. The colour-coded explanation cleared up some confusion I had about the location of the nerves, and the memory techniques are brilliant!
Just what I needed to review! I am SO SO happy I discovered this channel! I'm in my final semster and a couple of your videos have helped me so far! I'm a broke student but I will still be giving to your patreon! Thank you and keep up the great work!

And thank you so much for the willingness to continue to show support on Patreon. I'm honored that you would consider it. Thank you so much!
This was really cool, I love good quality jeducational channels.I’m really glad you said you were going to expand on this video to discuss the specific eye movements of cranial nerves 3,5,6 & eye muscles Because from what I’ve seen on most videos or articles they fail to discuss this and it can be very helpful With remembering differences of eye nerve functions
this is still the best mnemonic video to help remember cranial nerves. I will carry this face drawing with me in mind for as long as I live. Thank you so very much for sharing this with the world
i'm studying massage therapy and this video helped a lot, just to put together the information. I actually learned more from this video than my Anatomy class. thank you
Thank you Joe! Neuro is such a fascinating world as there is SO MUCH there to learn and the ways that it interconnects with everything else. Very cool stuff. Thanks for the comment!
