Iron Man 2 was my favorite. Capable villains, and the antagonistic nature of Rockwell played perfectly against Downey Jr. Plus, this was the first time 2 Avengers met each other. Fantastic movie!
@@willienelsongonzalez4609 Nick Fury isn't an Avenger. and Stark met Pepper and Rhodey long before the events of IM1. So yes, this movie was the first time a character who was gonna become an Avenger met another character who was gonna become an Avenger.
Some fun details that strongly lend to the quality of this entry: 1. Genndy Tartakovsky storyboarded the final battle in the "Japanese Garden" 2. Tom Morello plays guitar on film's unique, heavy metal score. And while I've often been pretty hard on the film for being a lesser entry in the Infinity Saga, I'll take it any day over most of what we've been getting.
I know it's a hot take, but this is my favorite Iron Man film. Sam Rockwell is amazing, the race sequence is great, the AC/DC intro rocks perfectly, Tony's Congressional testimony is hilarious, Scarlett Johansson is smoking hot, Sam Jackson is snarky as always, Don Cheadle was a serious upgrade for War Machine, and it may have my favorite armor of the series... There's a lot to like in this one.

Iron Man 2 may have been terrible in the eyes of many critics but the movie worked in the long run because after rewatching all the other films, Iron Man 2 doesn't become Iron Man 2 but Avengers 0. Iron Man 2 laid the groundwork for the Avengers to happen and while it wasn't perfect, it all worked out in the end as it established the beginning of the Avengers while keeping much of Tony's character intact. We also get some really cool suit designs in this movie and the groundwork for Tony's uncanny fighting skills in Avengers is also laid out here.

@@haroldjoseph8296 Ok shill.
And now... Disney movies are crap.
This movie sucked. Literally caused me to give up watching all live action comic book movies after seeing it and the only one I've seen since then was deadpool 1+2. and judging from how stupid iron man 3 supposedly was, i got out just in time.
There have been many comic book movies better than this since then, this is a distinctly rated low point, I think you've made a mistake.
