This review is gold! You've done a great job with the narration and you've gathered so many shots in different conditions that demonstrate exactly what you are saying about the board. The Kanga is currently the top of my purchase list.
Great footage and insight into Kanga's model i have an 8'9" 131ltr flow in my Quiver which i really love its great up 5ft but i've had it out on some solid days too . I'm always looking for that one board does all for all seasons here in Ireland plus the ultimate travel board . I'm definitely going to order another Sunova once i pin down something from the range im leaning towards the 8'10" placid right now :D stay salty best wishes Mikee Hamilton Sligo Ireland
Hi Mkee, sorry that I missed you comment for so long! If the Flow you have is the newer Casey Flow then the Placid will be way more stable, but not sure if the Placid will be the ultimate 4 season travel board. If you are charging bigger waves in your travels, then you might want to consider the SP24 8'10 x 30.25 at 136 L or the Creek 8'10 or 9'1
Hi John Don't know how I missed this question!! At that time I was using a Ho Stevie Quad set 4.7" fronts 3.6" rears The tiny rear fins are awesome for making it loose and super fun! Now I use the Quobba Black Carbon Mixed Thruster Set.... totally awesome fins that I now put on ALL my boards!
Right on Rick! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 love the vids and holy cow ! U have so many boards! to pick from lol 👍🏽👍🏽😆 my G/f only lets me keep 7 She says I need to get a man cave if I want more boards lol. I’ve yet surfed cape with my SUP, I mostly go there in the winter with my short board. Have a great weekend 🤙🏽
What do you think of the pau hana woody 10'x32" for a beginner SUP surfing board? Just bought one as my first board ever, complete noob to surfing. Also fellow new englander....
I have never seen a SUP I don't like! Never had or ridden a Pau Hana, but those numbers seem like a great start. If you like it... it is perfect. You will have others, so all that matters is that you are in the game! Maybe I'll see you out somewhere... I range around a bit!
That's awesome Steve! As far as I know, there is a Sunova dealer in the UK. Sunova dealers have no stock of the GenRation models yet, since they are so new.... so it would have to be ordered. Check these guys. Just a heads up.... many dealers don't even know about the GenRation models yet... so be gentle :-)
Great review.. pull in the tail, thin out the rail and Bam…..makos are like little kids showing off. We have juvenile whites here because of all the stingrays for them to eat. Not as fun as makos…..
