Man, that thing looks soooo FUN! I’m 195 and ride a 7-10 x 29 x 115L (my own design) with double wings that are farther forward than your board) and with Sea Shepard keels and it is such a blast in any size with a bit of a pocket. Not so good in flat waves because I put a lot of rocker in mine though.
So glad to see you’re still having fun and experimenting with sups!

Great shape and great construction as well. Industry leading trech. Hextail is a bit gimmicky, but oh well. Looking forward to ripping one!

thanks! really having fun on this board just pure fun... what SUP should be! I see where you are going with the "gimmick" knowing that the tail shape IMO is the least important part of the board, but when designing a board there is theory behind each tail shape and what they compliment. Naturally I will match a tail design I feel works best. A "gimmick" is something that is used to sell something and I don't think the tail sells this board I think it's the over all fun factor a shape like this provides! Curious what tail shape would you choose for this board?

As a short guy with short legs, Ive been wanting something stable but short so I don't have to move my feet around so much. Not sure I'm ready for a fish but I'm hope to get there soon. I wonder if I could get a V2 with similar dims?
