' you approach sewing is like my grand mother and friends of her generation, getting as much as possible from the fabric what is left will become either a quilt or a rug...and it is no nonsense and doesn't take days to do...love it. I did see your video of the v neck dress as well, my first video of yours... I want that one as well.

Thank you for your simple yet comfortable designs made from one of my favorite fabrics. What model sewing machine are you using. It looks like a Singer but because of the zig zag ability it may be a Meister. I wondered if you could say. I have a zig zag attachment that I use on my Singer treadle machines.

Hi Ella! I downloaded the pattern from the video where you were making your unbleached (?) linen dress. Is the pattern the same for the one you made for your mother, just a different size? I think that since I haven’t sewn clothes in a long time, I’m going to do plain seams first, wash it and then see if I need to make corrections before doing the finished seams. Sound feasible? Thank you for sharing! ❤️😎🐈⬛
Yep it's the same! I made a small for myself and a medium for my mom. If fit is of concern, I would probably pre wash then sew plain seams to test fit. Washing with plain seams has a tendency to make raw edges fray like mad and could cause a headache going to fix. Happy sewing to you!

Yes! Fold it over and cut so that two layers of fabric are cut at the same time
