1:45 that gap. As I posted in another of your videos the people who put my windows in didn't use expanding foam but just put the strip over the gap. When the sun warmed it up it sank back in the gap and lifted off the frame. That`s why I took it off, back filled and put it back on. Another great video ;)
I really liked how you changed the white window to the brown version from 4:30 onwards, I assume the customer said I wanted brown and you said no problem watch this😂
Found your video very instructional... Have nearly completed a lean to conservatory roof... my own design from purchased components cut to fit. Next stage windows and doors... your clip... excellent instructional guide.
@@philipmcfarlane window fixing clips allows to keep new frame undamaged, which helps alot with overall insulation, more work, but that's the proper way to do it.
I knew they messed up on my windows :( not half the stuff u boys did, no foam packing at all just screwed, nice job boys especially the pointing on that window above and beyond! 👍
Not sure how this is a how to ‘exactly ? No info about how to install, just snippets of you putting it in. I learnt more about how to make a tea as you spent longer filming that in depth than the actual window install 🤦🏽♂️
You should do a video on how to measure openings for doors and windows... many people struggle with this.

Wait they put white windows in then they were brown. Was there a film they removed that I missed?
The protective film is white. They just didn't film removing it.
Hi
If you have fixed the bottom of the window with screws in the drain channel will this not let water leak into the blockwork and back into the house
Silicone around the hole, then fit the screw. The hole is then sealed.
Could you please tell me the mix you use for mortar around the windows?
It's been abit dodgey the weather lately so hopefully it stops so ur video keep coming 👌🏼
i will try my best brendan

You should have siliconed under the mortar first as mortar doesn't stick to pvc lad
I just silicone after the mortar is dry ?
Great job👍
Is the coffe an important component in doing the job... heh heh.

Oh... I go with bacon rolls and huge mugs of tea.
You not thought about using airbags instead of timber wedges mate?
ive seen them scott they look good, must invest
stu crompton they are really good we use them daily for window and doors
drilling the frame?! madness
Since this is how all UPVC windows and doors are attached to the brickwork/blockwork, a necessity.

Mines all worn away
Pack it up a blue packer problem solved
Shame about the cut the other people had done into that to bed in the old lead, looks ugly, must be a way of hiding it with a render?
Is kc your dad?

Thought so 😊
