You should do a video on how to measure openings for doors and windows... many people struggle with this.
1:45 that gap. As I posted in another of your videos the people who put my windows in didn't use expanding foam but just put the strip over the gap. When the sun warmed it up it sank back in the gap and lifted off the frame. That`s why I took it off, back filled and put it back on. Another great video ;)
I really liked how you changed the white window to the brown version from 4:30 onwards, I assume the customer said I wanted brown and you said no problem watch this😂
Brilliant job mate just like every other of your jobs
It brings a new meaning to taking pride in your work.
Shoutout to nottingham
thanks john nice of you to say

Can you show us how to measure and cut a bay sill external to fit perfect possible a bow bay sill
Top job !! What are those magic screws that dont need rawl plugs ?
ammos
Such a great brickie stew love to work with you one day buddy
Wait they put white windows in then they were brown. Was there a film they removed that I missed?
The protective film is white. They just didn't film removing it.
Could you please tell me the mix you use for mortar around the windows?
Looks spot on as always stu thanks for the great vids my day is not complete without watching ur vids
stu crompton he is brilliant and I like it when u two are together 😀😀I take it that is where you learnt all of your talent from
well not the bricklaying but everything else :)
How many brick work videos have you made now Stu? Thanks
quite a few mate
What’s that foam called that kc is using. Window and door sealant?
What is the black sealant on the window
Hi
If you have fixed the bottom of the window with screws in the drain channel will this not let water leak into the blockwork and back into the house
Silicone around the hole, then fit the screw. The hole is then sealed.
Did you already have rawlplugs in the brick?
Those screws fit directly into brick.
I knew they messed up on my windows :( not half the stuff u boys did, no foam packing at all just screwed, nice job boys especially the pointing on that window above and beyond! 👍
What color is that kitchen window
You should have siliconed under the mortar first as mortar doesn't stick to pvc lad
I just silicone after the mortar is dry ?
Is the coffe an important component in doing the job... heh heh.
requirement :)
Found your video very instructional... Have nearly completed a lean to conservatory roof... my own design from purchased components cut to fit. Next stage windows and doors... your clip... excellent instructional guide.
Oh... I go with bacon rolls and huge mugs of tea.
drilling the frame?! madness
Since this is how all UPVC windows and doors are attached to the brickwork/blockwork, a necessity.
@@philipmcfarlane window fixing clips allows to keep new frame undamaged, which helps alot with overall insulation, more work, but that's the proper way to do it.
@@tm-lc2mg no its not ammos are easier for everyone and makes no real difference
Mines all worn away
Where are you based?
wigan
You not thought about using airbags instead of timber wedges mate?
ive seen them scott they look good, must invest
stu crompton they are really good we use them daily for window and doors
Pack it up a blue packer problem solved
Is kc your dad?
yeah
Thought so 😊
Shame about the cut the other people had done into that to bed in the old lead, looks ugly, must be a way of hiding it with a render?
As instructional video this terrible zero explanations
