Because the Coalition refused to defend the rights of Australians to make their own decisions regarding the jab and encouraged Big Business and state Governments to MANDATE a decision that is personal under the U.N Declaration of Human Rights. If they hadn't done that they would still be in office as it wasn't a vote FOR Labor, it was a vote AGAINST what the Coalition had become, cowards.

Considering the volume of gold the mine would have produced, and considering that BRICS is a fractional gold backed currency. As a US citizen, I appreciate this veto as the delay in extraction will allow the US time to get its oil production up during the next administration in order to save the petrodollar.

So you are saying that there is no consultation with the traditional owners, secondary you are saying that for every mine has the. right to go ahead. The reason why there is privacy is because of political members throwing everything in media and make everything political. Would you go and rip up your family graves. Wake up and have respect, that's what is wrong with you mob l. YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT IMPORTANT ISSUES that effect indigenous peoples and our rights to our traditional lands. Produce one document that says the traditional owners agreed to their loved ones sacred sites being ripped up.

Everything that you use in daily life was because we've all dug up places around the world that has allowed us to have this way of life today.
People die trying to make your phones, your clothes, the minerals to make technology possible.
The only reason why you don't notice it is because it doesn't affect you and you have no knowledge of it.
If China was in charge of this country, they would've not even bothered asking the native community and just started digging straight away.
It's clear that your understanding of the situation is clouded by emotion rather than facts. You seem to forget that progress doesn't happen by sitting on your hands and living in the past.
Spend less time typing away something that'll never be heard and more time researching, and you'll realise that responsible mining practices exist and can benefit everyone, including Indigenous communities.
Gold is probably one of the most important resources there is today to boost the nations overall economy.
I'm sure you mean well, and are an overall great person that cares about the community, but gold is needed.
