I’ve pretty much given up on Walmart, etc exclusives. Literally impossible to get , unless you go to eBay and pay extra. In California, LA , most Walmarts already have a committed scalper . I just collect GIjoe Classified, Fordo was my fav ARC trooper too 🤷♀️ not really into piecemeal collecting
Thanks so much! I have quite a few black series figures with he heads glued that I want to customize Including Fordo, and a couple of Holiday troopers! Now i know i can take them apart safely without damaging them and get them painted up and sealed to be awesome figures!
I have some Ali Express phase one and two Clones and Stormtroopers. Great figs. I heated up the knees on the Clones and prised off the knee pads. Cut off the pegs. Glued the pegs back into the holes they left. Slid the pads back on and now they're able to be positioned where I want. Great vid man.
Nice, cool video man. Great reference for budding customisers. It’s Amazing how mashed the helmet was when you separated it from the head and yet it still popped out and reshaped fine. 😎👍
Yeah I remember the first time I ever did this I was worried. On the bootleg sometimes there will be a fold mark after it settles. I think for Hasbro official release it is ok.
@@ka-bashedfigures834 I bet! First time seeing that initial result must be a real moment of tight sphincter and fear!! Haha good to know it’s not a world ending move! 🤣🤣
I totally enjoyed every minute of this video, it really helps out. I've been thinking about taking my "Fordo" apart and/or customizing him, but wasn't sure. Idk if I'm gonna go through with it, but now I have a way better understanding of the mechanics of this figure. Great video. 👍
Thank you SO much for the vid. Really helped me a lot. I was strugling getting the waist off and couldn't make it happen. Then I saw your vid and realized it won't come off. Thank you so much mate.
It's so weird to see this figure have a flesh colored head underneath the helmet when other clones with the helmets glued on have fully white heads. Makes me wonder if hasbro planned on giving him a special head sculpt like with the original TVC Fordo but got denied by Disney which I believe is why this was named arc trooper rather than Fordo
Oh MYY GOd!! Can you rename the Channel 'Clone Surgeon' ^^ Even though I'm never gonna try this, I learned a great deal from the video. The Jacuzzi, and the Hot Dip.... reminds me of trying to remold a new gum shield for contact sports. I have a suggestion, can you create a new Clone Figure that has not been seen yet, like for example a Medic Clone? "Medic!!!!!!!!!"
Yeah first time I spar my boxing coach had to help me dunk it in hot coffee to soften the mouth piece. Then my ex-father in law who’s a dentist helped me make a custom one which works a lot better!
Awesome video! I love stuff like this! I used to take a lot of my figures apart as a kid to see what made them "tick." I don't do it very much these days due to how much more expensive things are. Either you were very unlucky or I was very lucky since I was able to remove the ammo pack from the chest without breaking it. I'm so sorry man!
Thanks for sharing your experience! Yeah it is actually really cool to take it apart and begin to realize some of the decisions that went into making this figure, especially because it is a clone and needs to be designed for its ability to mix and swap parts. This time I didn’t realize how many parts are actually reused despite it looking so different.
@@ka-bashedfigures834 It really makes me want 3-4 of these guys to do customs... but I was BARELY able to get my order in for the one I have and the scalpers are having a field day here in the US. Such a shame. :(
Dude your the man thank you for doing this I need to get to getting mine done. I hear ya man I want all my helmet figs to be able to take their helmets off. Just adds so much to the figure.
Can You do a video with the new 3.75 inch figure. I have a Mandalorian whos knee is messed up and im scared to break it. Its from the haslab razor crest
Thanks for this video I have only been trying customs for a while and ruined 2 figs up to now by just pulling the arms off, never realised the fixed socket bits.
I feel your pain. I broke a couple in the past. One is at the hip because the black undergarment piece was molded in hard plastic, to just ended up snapping the ball joint at the crotch (ok that sounded bad 😂). I also broke the neck pin on the 2020 mold, and on Bly I didn’t wait for the head to heat up enough and broke the neck at the base.
Have you taken apart an elite squad trooper, they have the new arms but the old legs and I need a set of Arms for a galactic marine, since it's the new arms and appears to be the new torso aswell I'm assuming the arms are removable just like the 2.0 mold but if you've had any experience with it I'd love to know thabks
I see sometimes you mention knockoffs. I know of the knocks 3.75 on aliexpress but I’ve never seen knockoff 6”. They exist? Love the channel can’t wait to get into making my own soon
Any advice to remove the legs that have the hard insert plastic. Notice on the archive 501st trooper it's extremely hard to remove the legs even in hot water.
@@ka-bashedfigures834 thanks man, I checked it out. I'm actually trying to learn how to remove the thighs. Unfortunately the thigh sockets are that hard plastic, and will break if removed.
Is it possible to remove the helmet without putting it in boiling water. I wanna buy a phase ii arc trooper helmet and customize so I can swap em back and forth
Hey there. Watched your video. Do you think it's easy to take the white breastplate off? I'm planing on using the Clone Trooper parts on other characters.
16:45 Why don't Hasbro just paimt these beautiful headsculpts and make the helmets removable? I've never even scene a clone trooper black series figure with this head sculpt and I know it looks like Wolfes but it's not. Hasbro is extremely dumb. I'm done buying these figures from such a stupid company.
Yes after seeing how they paint the vintage collection arc trooper heads, I wish they do the same for the 6” figures. They work in mysterious ways for sure!
Hey guys! Feel free to suggest what ARC trooper I should customize.
A Arc Trooper Alpha 17 with the special helmet eye piece would be awesome, I don’t think Hasbro will ever do this one
The lambent seeker ark trooper from battlefront 2 I think would be a good challenge with the neon outlines
@@marcosdoesthings8487 actually this would be amazing to see how you do the helmet design
Yes, an accurate Captain Fordo. 🤩
Commander Colt please

I can see Hasbro Reusing that helmet for a phase 1 rex
Makes sense, especially with the removable helmet. It’ll be really nice!
Perhaps I can repaint the helmet for Rex, great idea!
