This is a great looking Captain Howzer custom. I think this would give Hasbro a run for the money if they ever decide to release him. I'm new to customizing figures, only have 3 done, so I'm glad I found this video and channel. 👍
Did you print that helmet or got it from another figure? Nice custom btw.. just subscribed too. Also, glad you made that pauldron by re-using parts.. it's creative!
Wow incredible paint job! I was wondering what type of tape you used to mask off the figure. I'm in England so if you could just let me know the general type instead of brand name, likewise the Mod Podge. I've never heard of that before.
Paint kit ? What do you mean by that ? The turquoise I used was Vallejo model color 70.840 light turquoise you can get it on eBay just the singular color and that was it for the armor. Hope that helps
@@wolfpackcustoms7738 Oh sorry i should've been more specific, for starting out really, i know thin brush is best to use but im just having trouble finding the best paints for customizing. i already have white primer
The character I play for our Star Wars rpg is captain Howzers son in my universe… I cosplayed as him for comicon, and my armor is a hodgepodge of clone and stormtrooper, but my right upper thigh was supposed to be the last piece of captain Howzers armor… you can kinda see it here… th-cam.com/video/YYVT76B_ZmE/w-d-xo.html
Using the box insert as a custom pauldron is an idea that seems so obvious but I literally never would have thought of that! Amazing work!
Thank you ! Just trying something new 👍🏻
I like to keep my boxes intact but it's definitely resourceful.
excellent. Love the exacto knife for the edge wear
The paint application is soooooo clean. Thats my goal right there. You're very talented.

Awesome work! I'm planning to do this on some 12inch Hasbro clones, thank you for the tips
Have you ever experimented with oil washes instead of acrylics? I use them for miniature painting and find them really easy to use and manipulate.
I have once or twice but i haven’t experimented with enough paints to know which ones to use
awesome work !!!! I absolutly love him ❤
Amazing Tutorial dude!
subbed
Thanks bro really appreciate it 🙏🏻

Awesome job!
nice work dude keep doin wht ur doin
just discovered the channel 👍 good videos
Great custom!! before you sprayed the white primer, did you sand down the figure?
No I don’t really like to the plastic is to soft
The bonding primer I use sticks really well to the base figure without getting tacky

It’s like 4mm painters tape but you can just cut tape down if you can’t find any
Also mod podge is like white glue or Elmer’s glue
I Thought it was a hot toys or sideshow collectibles for a sec so that should tell you something
Can we get a tutorial how you casted the helmet part? thanks.
Before you did the wash, did you put another Clearcoat? In order to protect the teal paint or did you just put the wash on like that
Once I get the lines cleaned I’ll put a clear coat on 👍🏻
What colour did you use for the blue/teal? I couldn't quite see, is it nihilakh oxide?
4:45 stipple dat goop
I saw Guy Fieri on the thumbnail, is this figure taking me to Flavor town ? 😂
He’ll try his darnedest 😂👌🏻
what paint kit do you use? please respond, am having trouble finding the best kit

I go for citidel by games workshop and Vallejo and just buy the primary colors to start and I add them as I need them for different projects
