You're very much on to something remember when the Gorosei were certain Sabo was on Lulucia and he was bouncing the signal from another island and Vegapunk dying can't be the true extent of the Egghead incident.
Also the tree of knoledge as a paralell to the punk records, an assemble of knowledge... also the apple on his head always remknds me of an old alarm clock... he IS an alarm that will wake up the world
These are great connections! I especially love the Tree of Knowledge and Punk Records one because a brain has branches going within it, just like a tree!
Something also to consider is that our 1st interaction with Vegapunk (Stella) is him TELEPORTING halfway into the Iron Giant by accident. So the question is where was he teleporting from ??????? Hmmmmmm
Totally agree about the vantage point of the timer. This one actually has me excited, unlike all of the others the past few arcs, because its the Gorosei who have their backs against the wall racing the clock. Cant wait for them to destroy egghead with 5 seconds to spare, and the broadcast still goes off haha
Love this idea because there are introductions of concepts that haven’t been used or addressed and one of those things is the holograms/gloves and the purpose of them in this story. Really creative way to bring it all together. I hope Oda does this.
I don’t think Vegapunk knows about Imu, just because you know the history doesn’t mean you know that someone is sitting on the empty throne, the history can tell you that the WG took over but it wouldn’t talk about Imu on the throne
That's definitely possible, I don't think Vegapunk has ever met Imu but is moreso thinking that there must be someone at the top then. With him being so knowledgeable about the Void Century, he might have some theories on how the WG came about after all.
I just commented something similar. If Dragon didn't know of the existence of IMU ... There's literally no way Vegapunk would know and also no tell his friend and ally who is directly and openly opposed to IMU. Not a chance VP knows.
Man wouldn't it be cool if a ticking clock like the TV show 24 was counting down. Also what if the message gets out and Imu hits that factory reset button on the world.
I dont see Vegapunk to reveal anything regarding to the Ancient Kingdom and the Void Century since that was Robins Dream and Vegapunk will NEVER shatter Robins dream, so the only things that he will reveal instead is the corruption of the World Government, since the whole arc is focusing on the corruption of the WG which is why we saw flashbacks of them ruining Bonney's childhood for Saturn killing her mother and technically killing Kuma.
If Dragon didn't know about the existence of IMU ... Why assume Vegapunk knows? And why would Vegapunk keep that info secret from Dragon when they've been friends and allies for a long time? No way he knows about Imu.
This is a fair point, I mentioned in another comment that I don't think he knows about Imu in an person POV, but I think it's definitely possible that he came to the conclusion that there must be something above the Gorosei.
@@Kev-D-OG It’s possible that maybe Dragon very recently told him after finding out from Sabo … But even that I doubt. But you may be right, who knows. Smartest man in the world, after all.
Sorry but it doesn't seem plausible. Vegapunk decided to record the message when he felt threatened. The different vegapunks already existed by then. One thing is to record a message inside the lab where only Shaka and Pythagoras are allowed and therefore are the only ones who have the knowledge. Another thing is to leave Egghead to go to O'hara. Vegapunk was in O'hara when he met Dragon more than 20 years ago. He then went to Elbaf to learn about O'hara knowledge.
Genuine question, how does this disprove it? Vegapunk could still record all the stuff from Egghead and be at Egghead, the only thing that would need to be at Ohara is the tech that's being used to distribute the recording all over. We know that Vegapunk can transfer things through his apple head, so why wouldn't he be able to send the recording to Ohara?
@@Kev-D-OG my question is that to have that transcrever to emit the broadcast from O'hara he would have to been there recently - between Sabaody and now and that doesn't seem likely. Remember that he still had his massive head when Bonney and Kuma were in Egghead.
@@Kev-D-OGyea personally it doesn't make sense honestly. when they where on O'Hara and around that time wasn't Vega punk based on punk Hazzard before it turned icy/ hot
I personally think that the broadcast can be coming from elbaf. The giant tree could give a give a high enough altitude to send a broadcast across the entire planet.
I have a theory about Luffy and his DF power and what might happen next (I'm might be reaching but let's think): I think that the form that we all know of G5 is but a portion of how the Nika fruit works. To be precise, Luffy awk his DF on the roof of Onigashima and was exposed to the Moon BUT, he also may have taken this form (White clothes, white hair, white steam, etc), because he has been INSPIRED by Carrot's sulong form and by also the other sulong (that he saw ofc). Now see, I don't believe that Luffy's power is Rubber but that his body have this property BECAUSE, as the Gorossei said: "Its user's (The gum fruit user's) body gains the properties of rubber" Now the thing is that afterward, the Gorossei use the word "They" and doesn't use any other word that is used for a singular person. If they were talking about the user, they should have said: "Its user is also known as the warrior of Liberation, Sun God Nika" The reason is that the Gorossei wasn't talking about the User himself but that the user body's properties "ARE THE EMBODIMENT OF THE WARRIOR OF LIBERATION". Luffy's body became rubbery because he has been chosen to become the Warrior of Liberation. He is the embodiment of a free human. I think that Luffy's true power will be triggered in these next chapters nearing the end of One Piece, because he whom body has been chosen, transformed, accepted and learned how his DF works go through the awakening. But I believe that Luffy has yet to go through the real trigger for his DF to kick in. You see his DF is not the Gum gum fruit but the Human human fruit and his specificity is that of a God. I think, that trigger will be the ancient robot or Elbaf or even the Gorossei talking shit and spitting the truth involuntarily. Everybody till now has been saying that Luffy is awakened but he didn't, the gorossei didn't, the only one who believed that was kaido. I think this DF reveal also what is Luffy's dream. It's not about being a king, a pirate, a lover, a perfect grandson, a thoughtful son or even a Legend. I think it's related to Godhood. Luffy wants to free everybody from their insecurities, their boredom, their sadness and he want to create a place where his crewmates can eat to their will, BUT ONLY A GOD CAN CHANGE THE PRINCIPLE OF THIS WORLD. ONLY A GOD COULD FREE EVERYONE FROM THEIR SLAVERY. The major hint of his Godhood is his strawhat that looks like a sunrise. Everytime Luffy put his hat on, we see a great panel about how he put it on. And when you look back, the first crewmate that he saved was Zoro. And when you check Zoro's panel in front of Luffy, you see the perfect symbolism of a God smiling upon a man full of dreams but lacking of support, a wretch. "The planets are aligning", I think we'll see what happens from now on. But I think that Luffy will gave to go through what every God went through to confirm their Godhood. One of his crewmate might die and I believe it might be Ussop "The Bravest Warrior of the Sea". Which explain his surname "God Ussop" because his had the bravery and nobility to put his all for his captain. In reality Ussop is not a God but a sacrificial lamb for the real God.this might happen on Fishmen Island.
They is used as singular if the gender is unknown. Since they are talking about whoever eats the devil fruit and not Luffy specifically, they as singular is correct.

I was actually going to include something about this but completely forgot during the editing process. Basically, I completely agree with you.

Glad you agree! That last second “Gotcha” is gonna be soooooo satisfying
5:50 OOOOHHHHH You're so RIGHT about Akainu
Omg thats really good
Thanks! Yeah I definitely think he’s important here
“The Apple never falls to far from the tree” legendary bar
Thanks! I hoped that that line would have the impact, so I'm glad you liked it!
This is so genius! Absolutely amazing Video! You outdid urself! ❤
Thanks so much! That means a lot to hear man
Everyones saying its the gorosei but what if its gods knights.
I think everyones jumping the gun
7:24 also in this chapter, someone in the North blue even said Vegapunk was the “man who brought light to the world”
Oh true! That's a great point!
I really like the idea of ohara being the place of knowledge once again.
Yeah! It'd be a great way to take the arc full circle and go on the theme of the island's will living on.
I really like this idea a lot! I don't want the WG to cut the message.
Glad you enjoy! I thought it’d be a great way to show how much Vegapunk outsmarted them even after his death
I don't think the message would be cut down if oda is serious about ending the one piece soon😅
@Kev-D-OG I don't think he's dead. His body may be dead but his subconscious is in punk record because Part of Himself is in the record
8:09 YOOOO You are COOOOOKING !!! Alsooo HI KEV! Love u bro ❤😎
Much love Acks 👏😤
Totally agree with this, said it on Bragos chat with the boys! It would be crazy
Ayy love to see it! Glad we're on the same page
Solid coverage 💪🏾

Dragon definitely coming like he ain’t just gonna let kuma , Vegapunk & luffy die
exact to the point, no dilly dallying and a short video of 12 minutes...perfect!!

Vegapunk is also based on Nikola Tesla, you know, because of his dream to get free energy to everyone.
Very true!
I don't wanna know where his seed is, but at the same time I do. Ready for fire content, thanks🎉🎉🎉❤

I believe vegapunk's message is coming from the moon. We see his robots building something on the moon in the Enel cover stories
That's actually not Dr. Vegapunk, that's Dr. Tsukimi. But that's a great idea nevertheless!
