I discover One Piece in 2005.. Funny enough at that time, OP is my least fav among shounen jump big 3 (1st Naruto and then Bleach).. Since 2006, i start reading weekly new chapter (still doing it nowaday) at that time without reading most a previous chapter because i only got chance to using internet at my local internet cafe so i dont have many time to read previous chapter (btw im 16 at those time, dont have many time to visit internet cafe regularly) And around 2010, my house finally got a proper internet (before mostly using dial-up connection so you know how much it take times to just loading one page haha..) then i start to read all the previous chapter to catch up with latest chapter at that time.. After i start doing that i realize that how many foreshadowing that Oda put in previous chapter that make a recent chapter more sense.. Compare to the other (Naruto and Bleach) that had straightfoward progression with too little foreshadow or hint from an early chapter.. Thats why OP gradually climb to my most fav manga all time, period, and thinking that we finally approach the final saga make me sad.. But seeing that most mangaka cannot finish their work due to passed away, mostly, i decide that if i can read OP final chapter, i will laugh just like Roger and his crew when they finally reach Laugh Tale..
I first thought of all the important high places in a lot of the islands we went to. Like the drum rockies, dressrosa palace plateau, alubarna being on top of a huge rock, wano's mt. Fuji, a giant beanstalk/tree possibly being on elbaf, and of course, marijoa!
There are other two places. 1. Tequila Wolf A bridge that has been under construction as ordered by the world nobles 700 years ago 2. Weatheria an artificial sky Island. And since you mentioned the drum rocks, I always thought it was weird that there is a giant building structure large enough to house at least a whole village and that instead of choosing to live with the village and making it easier for people to get to her kureha chose to live up on the mountains. There’s also the fact that she is 120 years old and was the first person to mention the “will of D”, this makes me believe that she has known about this for a very long time.
My guess is that next it'll be revealed that 'sinking into the sea' is what already happened to the Ancient Kingdom. I'm probably not the only one getting Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker vibes off of this. My guess is that if Roger and the others found out about the world they know one day sinking into the sea while they were at Laugh Tale, they also discovered a solution that for one reason or another wouldn't be available for twenty years. After all, wasn't it implied that Roger realized he'd come there too early? Of course that whole 'Red Line' theory about it breaking up around the time the Fishman Island prophecy comes to pass would mean that One Piece's oceans would change drastically. All those designations and divisions (East Blue, North Blue, West Blue, South Blue, Grand Line, Calm Belt, and so on) might no longer have meaning, and Nami would have to start her maps all over again. However, if Vegapunk's prediction came to pass, then there wouldn't be much left in the Blue Sea to map. Anyway, I'm sure there's more to Vegapunk's message. The idea that the world might sink into the sea was already implied by the sea level rising in the aftermath of Lulusia's disappearance. The 'how' and 'why' is probably tied in to the hidden history of the world. We'll have to wait and see what else Vegapunk might have to say about this, how this relates to everything else, and what (if anything) Vegapunk believes can be done about it. As well as how everyone reacts.
Exactly my reaction When i realized what Crocus and Rayleigh do, i literally laughed like Roger, because it clicked in my mind and i couldn't hold my happiness realizing the hints
You know Rayleigh has that entrepreneur mindset because he got information on the world sinking and started a business on coating ships for underwater travel. Crocus too, making a house inside a whale. Even Oden, wanting to use tht ancient weapon Pluton, supposedly a super ship.
Makes you wonder if there are more ancient ruins snd poneglyphs on the seafloor. Impel Down is most likely a gigantic tower from the void century, or perhaps even from before that and now it's an undersea base.
Thriller bark was floated by shiki over the red line. Thats probably how other pirates get across who dont go down. It is probably fairly luctative business for him.
Imagine if the Red Line is actually a man made continent, and destroying the Red Line basically means flattening it out, basically elevating the rest of the Planet and saving the islands.
some potential hints not mentionef include - the noah could be used to also save non fishmen -symbolism that part of enels plan was to send everything below the white sea. -none of shanks' crew having devil fruits -in wano, oden could have wanted to take down the walls in order to get his people onto pluton and use it as part of joyboys fleet when he returned.
every yonko Captain other than shanks had a devil fruit and a crew made of at least 40 percent devil fruit users(exept maybe whitebeard) plus just because you don't have a devil fruit doesn't mean you won't drown
My imediate theory: goes of the IMU is related to UMI idea; there might be a strong parallel to Vegapunk. Similar to his ever growing brain, the seawater, the main thing that stops df users aka strips them of their dreams, might represent the manifestation of Imus power (whatever it might be). The foretold event then could be caused by this power to emensly expand. What was the 1 thing the Gorosei wanted to protect there? The sotold unending energy source, the Mother Flame, which VP directly regrets creating in that announcment "I flew too close to the sun" and is signed "A&Mu" (Atlantis & Imu?). As always he wanted to create smth for the world but it got in wrong hands; if Imu gets the completed Mother Flame they might consume/sink the entire world. Still we miss any motives from Imu. Why would they want and do that? Even if they want to restart the entire history, is that even possible with that state of the planet? Does even rly have something to do with it? Or will Blackbeards awakened Black Hole solve the problem? We still need more information. Thx for reading tho
So one big thing I did hear you mention was Roger's message "If you want my treasure, you can find it, I left it all in One Piece". By saying that and starting the golden age of piracy he inspired people to go search for his treasure; becoming pirates in the process. You know what pirates have? Boats. You know what would have a good chance of surviving the world sinking? Boats. More pirates also probably increased Marine activity which means more Marine ships. It is very possible that Roger started the golden age of piracy to give people the best chance of survival.
This was a big revelation for us who discuss One Piece, thankfully he gave us a break to let that *sink in.* Whatever he reveals next, I have a *sinking* feeling that there is more to this than we can ever imagine. Either way, I'm too deep in that *sunk* cost fallacy of analysing the story to not do it. I'm pretty much drowned by ideas.
The drains could make sense if the One Piece world followed the Hollow Earth model. Maybe there are huge cave systems underneath the ocean floor, either natural or manmade, and over time the supports are starting to weaken. Like very gradually maybe just from natural tectonic shifts, but it would be enough that a scientist could model it out hundreds of years in advance. We could be approaching a breaking point soon where the entire system collapses all at once? Additionally, if the Red line is manmade, as many theorize, all of that material had to come from somewhere, didn't it?
Luffys power “gathering allies/followers” that mihawk mentioned during the war at marineford… that power is going to get everyone in the world to work together and prevent it/change it so everyone can be together… Akainu going to be making continents😂 and luffys going to make them float.
I saw someone mention that Cricket´s house in Jaya is basically at sealevel But during Noland´s flashback the same building is shown to be on top of a cliff So that in those 400 years the sea rose enough to make a cliff into a beach
It was abit anti-climatic.... I thought he was going to reveal more about the World Government and cause utter chaos. But I don't think the message is done. It seems like it just started. Staying Tuned...
I see it this way: Imagine you are a regular OP citizen on a random island. What shocks you more/has more impact on you? 1) Learning about some government stuff and ancient history that in all honesty doesn't directly concern you 2) Learning that the entire world is about to sink in a huge flood and you're going to die soon
As far as Wano goes, I could see the "opening of the borders" and lowering the walls specifically as a case of ensuring they made enough space for the new flood. Like a tub--let the water flood out and become dispersed so there is plenty of room for new water to fill the tub. As well as give them a chance to save more people by letting them immigrate to the country. I do still worry a bit about Fishman Island though. Sure, it is underwater and the fishmen and merfolk themselves would be dine, but if the water levels rise too much it might be just enough to push the limit of what the Eve tree can handle in terms of ability to provide them with light the way it can now.
I really think that Imu is the reason for the rising ocean level. I feel like this is the purge the Imu mentioned. It makes sense that he'd have a power opposite of devil fruit users.
I see you finished the Globe. I also ordered one after wathing you work on it, and finished it in three days. I had some other stuff to do, so it took me a bit longer.
Hey Tekking, I was thinking about the Ocean level and the whole "plug" scenario. And Enies Lobby slowly draining. What if Luffy was foretold to destroy Fishman island because it is the plug. And the arc was made to take the Fishman away when it is destroyed.
I mentioned on reddit how this was foreshadowed back during water 7 how the sea kept rising and iceberg was developing ways to keep the city floating. Noah's ark obviously was built in relation to this surely. Those people knew back then. And why zunesha is so tall I bet is to avoid the rising/sinking waters. Still curious what crime they committed though. Maybe they refused to carry someone back then? That hole at enies lobby too has to be linked to something. You don't just have a hole with water pouring into it. Where's it going?
I’d like to add about the fact that shanks may be using underwater current to travel, adding more validity to the theory that rogers old crew knows about the coming flooding
I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but now Law's middle name, Watel, being infamous/taboo makes a lot of sense. Also, I wonder how individuals with landscape changing devil fruits such as Pika/Morley/the island dude from Blackbeard pirates/Aokiji, among many others, will affect the One Piece world.
The red line being destoryed will probably be the best thing. It's clearly unnatural due to laboon and co trying to pass it showing its not a case of him wanting to see brook and something more Plus by removing it they can have true freedom of the sea and all that space the red line was taking up can be filled with water making all the islands surface again.
If the red line just disappears and leaves a void, it’ll lower the water levels. But if the red line just crumbles and falls into the ocean, it’d make the water levels rise more
@@justindosser8148 So how would the Red Line disappear? Get sucked into a black hole Blackbeard created? Get sent into the White Sea much like Noland's story that was later proven to be true?
@@ChrisLang101 if it’s the route oda goes then it can be somethin as goofy as, luffy going giant G5 and make it a giant rubber ball and throw at someone and it becomes a new moon lol but I believe it’ll crumble rather than be removed
(I touched on this in a seperate comment, expanding my thoughts) On my first thought, More water can only threaten Fishman Island by virtue of water pressure destroying their protective bubble. After all, thimgs are stable now, but more weight around it could mess with the equalibrium. Then I realized the debris from the many islands bring drowned and washed away could probably become a threat too. And worse, the Sunlight Tree Eve might drown or be lifted so far away from Fishman Island, that the light giving roots could be pulled away from the kingdom.
12:34 here's another theory of my own: as you said crocus knew about this, and that's why he stayed with laboon very close to the red line to train him how to destroy it when the time comes, after all destroying the red line might be the only solution for this Oh nvm you just said it,just reached that part
This mostly got me thinking about all the poneglyph locations. These would be the surviving strong holds of a water world. -Jaya/sky island would have come from the moon. - Alabasta would have been with the - Neffatari family ? Mariejois. -Wano - fish man island - Ohara was found and brought there. Unknown. Pretty sick we're finally starting to see true end game no matter what happens.
What Roger probably laughed at was the fact that as the ocean engulfs the islands that means everyone in the world will have to take to the sea and essentially become a pirate. It’s ironic so he laughed and that’s why he told the world about the one piece so that it’ll drive more people to the sea before the inevitable occurs.
Great video. My thoughts on the end of Vegapunk's speech especially the world sinking into the ocean? Since we saw Shirahoshi and some of the mermaids and merman in Fishman Island at the end looking shocked maybe they can help.
I feel like one of things that I find interesting about this - and hopefully we get some more sooner (like details) whether it's intentional flooding or inevitable. I.E. the void century peeps forced the water levels to rise...or fall? Maybe. Obviously we know blowing up an island raises the water 3m globally and now they have their space lazers - it could be accelerated. My thoughts are that this leaves some room for IMU to not be an pure evil entity. For example if it (since we don't really know) is using the world gov't and vegapunk to find a way to survive the once per 1000 year floods (even if it means only saving the celestials) - in a way there is a dream/justice there. Not a great one - but in a way all of the "villains" of one piece had some sort of dream that was meant to enhance something. On the flip side - I wonder if the flooding represents the death of dreams. Since DF's are basically dreams manifested but rejected by the mother ocean, assuming it's just that, a world completely under sea water would be nearly impossible to "navigate" as a DF user. I think there's a lot to unpack without some more context but it's definitely adding depth to the story I don't think anyone was ready for.
Hi TEKKING... When you mentioned the water going down the hole below Enies lobby and now Lulusia you said that the water would go to the center of the one piece world and then evaporate. I immediately thought about the knock up stream that brought the piece of land from Jaya to the sky islands... I think you can do a video about it if you feel like it. Or at least mention it. Thank you for reading and for the content 🫶🏼
The land sinking is very much not the same as the sea rising. Because the sea rising is linked to more water (because of melting ice caps for example), while the land sinking is normally plate tectonics etc. So the way I see it, we already know what causes the issue, it's the Mother flame, because sea lvls "seemingly" rose as a direct reaction to it being used. Vegapunk recently build the Motherflame. So nobody on Rogers crew etc. could have known. Most of the "foreshadowing" is probably also coincidence and not connected to this issue. Rogers crew being station at the start of the grandline (crocus), in the middle (Rayleigh) and at the end (probably Scopper) makes perfect sense. They are there to support the prophesied child, the new Joy boy, the inheritor of Rogers will (see hat).
Red line is definitely being lowered down into the sea and crushing Fishman island, that's the whole point of the Noah so the fishman can escape and also why Wano has those massive walls, they don't need to lower the walls, the seas level will rise so much that its in line with the top of the waterfall.

@@joshshrum2764it’s honestly insane how long it’s been running as a show. I got into it like back in 2016. It’s been 8 years for me. I binge watched it even at the beach, family was pissed lmao. I think when I was at the beach it was like during WCI arc.
I discover One Piece in 2005.. Funny enough at that time, OP is my least fav among shounen jump big 3 (1st Naruto and then Bleach).. Since 2006, i start reading weekly new chapter (still doing it nowaday) at that time without reading most a previous chapter because i only got chance to using internet at my local internet cafe so i dont have many time to read previous chapter (btw im 16 at those time, dont have many time to visit internet cafe regularly)
And around 2010, my house finally got a proper internet (before mostly using dial-up connection so you know how much it take times to just loading one page haha..) then i start to read all the previous chapter to catch up with latest chapter at that time..
Lmao 10 years ago people were saying One Piece couldn't last another 5 years, I'll be in the nursing home still waiting on Sabo vs Akainu
Geography stocks are up ‼️‼️‼️
Bro is louded
Technically if the world’s about to sink, the stocks would drop. Because everyone is going to want to sell off.
7:04 the boat guide conveniently called Judy be like: There was never a Lulusia Kingdom 😁
"Where will the water go?"
Hollow earth ala godzillaverse?
What if the all blue is actually under the whole world instead of the theory that its under the red line
Now that I think about it...
Iceburg wanted to turn Water 7 into a ship
But the very next arc is Thriller Bark... An Island made into a Giant Ship
1. Tequila Wolf A bridge that has been under construction as ordered by the world nobles 700 years ago
The bridge where robin was sent to was also kinda interesting like why they’ve been building a bridge above sea levels for 700 hundred years ???
so true!! omg it’s crazy how much foreshadowing there’s been 😭😭
"Bear the flag of Dawn in a sinking world." Wow..
the perfect music for looking at all the foreshadowing bits for the world sinking is "Eternitybox - 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors"
Exactly my reaction
When i realized what Crocus and Rayleigh do, i literally laughed like Roger, because it clicked in my mind and i couldn't hold my happiness realizing the hints
Geography is everything intro, and Tekking tumble, something I been missing alot!
The intro is 🔥 10/10
Thriller bark was floated by shiki over the red line. Thats probably how other pirates get across who dont go down. It is probably fairly luctative business for him.
I was thinking Moria just made the shadow go up and the ship followed the shadow like the body has to

Imagine if the Red Line is actually a man made continent, and destroying the Red Line basically means flattening it out, basically elevating the rest of the Planet and saving the islands.
But more rocks in the water would displace the water and make it rise, like ice cubes in a cup
@@chronbeasly8115 Yes I think the red line can be sunk but its something Imu would do, and its the mechanism for flooding the world
"I wished I lived at your time"
Imagine the sea level was way way down, imagine what the red line was looking back in the day
Shipbuilder stocks are about to go: 📈📈📈📈📈
And everyone wants to learn about the coating ship now
some potential hints not mentionef include
- the noah could be used to also save non fishmen
-symbolism that part of enels plan was to send everything below the white sea.
-none of shanks' crew having devil fruits
-in wano, oden could have wanted to take down the walls in order to get his people onto pluton and use it as part of joyboys fleet when he returned.
The Black Beard pirates must be looking real stupid now.
every yonko Captain other than shanks had a devil fruit and a crew made of at least 40 percent devil fruit users(exept maybe whitebeard) plus just because you don't have a devil fruit doesn't mean you won't drown
I think the blackbeard pirates will keep the world flooded, while the straw hats will drain the oceans (maybe it’s luffy’s dream to drain the oceans)
Yeah it’s dumb even if the world wasn’t sinking.
Stupid? They are pirates. Most of the intense activities they have, happen on the sea.
@@sphinxtan9158 their ships are raft. Dumb aesthetic, tbh. Lmao
Literally just checked to see if theres any new tekking vids and this popped in my notifications lolb
Feel better man. Just ordered a GIE shirt 👍
oh my god tekking is going to the beach! nice foreshadowing in the end cut.
This was a big revelation for us who discuss One Piece, thankfully he gave us a break to let that *sink in.*
Whatever he reveals next, I have a *sinking* feeling that there is more to this than we can ever imagine. Either way, I'm too deep in that *sunk* cost fallacy of analysing the story to not do it. I'm pretty much drowned by ideas.
He was right all along:
GEOGRAPHY IS EVERYTHING 🙌🙌🙌
The drains could make sense if the One Piece world followed the Hollow Earth model. Maybe there are huge cave systems underneath the ocean floor, either natural or manmade, and over time the supports are starting to weaken. Like very gradually maybe just from natural tectonic shifts, but it would be enough that a scientist could model it out hundreds of years in advance. We could be approaching a breaking point soon where the entire system collapses all at once?
Additionally, if the Red line is manmade, as many theorize, all of that material had to come from somewhere, didn't it?
i love the idea that the celestial dragons aren’t wearing space suits, but scuba/diving suits
basically sandy from spongebob
Luffys power “gathering allies/followers” that mihawk mentioned during the war at marineford… that power is going to get everyone in the world to work together and prevent it/change it so everyone can be together… Akainu going to be making continents😂 and luffys going to make them float.
Alabastas capitol is built in a way that makes it look like it may have been a single island that size at one time before the land beneath was reviled
The *All Blue* has a bit of a different meaning now, eh Sanji?
I saw someone mention that Cricket´s house in Jaya is basically at sealevel
But during Noland´s flashback the same building is shown to be on top of a cliff
So that in those 400 years the sea rose enough to make a cliff into a beach
12:00 I mean, you say that, but Vegapunk did say that what he was going to say was so ridiculous that it may just make you burst into laughter 🤔
You're a great person Tekking, love the vids!
Ur intro made me smile thx u for that 🫶🏿
One Piece is a sequel to Trigun where the Plants have been running nonstop for so long they flooded the world.
Damn i miss trigun
Its funny to me that the story told thtrough the skypia arc is becoming more prevalent the closer we get to the final battle and laugh tale
5:33 my first thought for sink is that the red line is taking islands and adding it to itself, thus sinking all islands
Thank you for a great video guys
Feel better Tebbing 🥺
definitely gonna need that bunker…
also the cover page was the strawhat girls using the guys as pawns!😂😂😂😂
I wonder if there’s a connection?🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣
Brain exploded as you got to the Wano and Odin part. Oda is amazing ❤
1) Learning about some government stuff and ancient history that in all honesty doesn't directly concern you
2) Learning that the entire world is about to sink in a huge flood and you're going to die soon
One thing i have a problem is how the f this needs a video transponder?
THE KNOCK UP STREAM!! that could be how the water is slowly coming out
Gaban is prolly living in the moon or something at this point
Keep up the great work and videos tekking love the video
Get better soon
Hey Tekking, I was thinking about the Ocean level and the whole "plug" scenario. And Enies Lobby slowly draining. What if Luffy was foretold to destroy Fishman island because it is the plug. And the arc was made to take the Fishman away when it is destroyed.
crocus was playing no games, he hopped in a whale and made it his house 😭
The Redline is blocking a lot of water 😮
Geography intro always hit different 🔥
Can’t wait for Luffy to go G5 and pull the bath plug at the bottom of the ocean and reverse the world’s sinking
It's clearly unnatural due to laboon and co trying to pass it showing its not a case of him wanting to see brook and something more
Plus by removing it they can have true freedom of the sea and all that space the red line was taking up can be filled with water making all the islands surface again.
*Meanwhile the Roger Pirates who knew long ago and live without a single worry*
Croco: Lives inside a whale
Rayleigh: Ship coating business tycoon
(I touched on this in a seperate comment, expanding my thoughts) On my first thought, More water can only threaten Fishman Island by virtue of water pressure destroying their protective bubble. After all, thimgs are stable now, but more weight around it could mess with the equalibrium.
Then I realized the debris from the many islands bring drowned and washed away could probably become a threat too.
And worse, the Sunlight Tree Eve might drown or be lifted so far away from Fishman Island, that the light giving roots could be pulled away from the kingdom.
Dude Pizzaro is SCREWED
12:34 here's another theory of my own: as you said crocus knew about this, and that's why he stayed with laboon very close to the red line to train him how to destroy it when the time comes, after all destroying the red line might be the only solution for this
Oh nvm you just said it,just reached that part
This mostly got me thinking about all the poneglyph locations. These would be the surviving strong holds of a water world.
-Jaya/sky island would have come from the moon.
- Alabasta would have been with the
- Neffatari family ? Mariejois.
-Wano
- fish man island
- Ohara was found and brought there. Unknown.
Pretty sick we're finally starting to see true end game no matter what happens.
My head just had a massive pause hearing all the foreshadowing can't believe it was RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!
You were quick today tekking!
Tekking has been preaching the truth for years. GEOGRAPHY IS EVERYTHING
Oh my god.. the water draining at Enies Lobby... this at least explains where the water for the knock up stream comes from!
A battle between dreams and nightmares… Man this is gonna be epic!
You kind of skirted over the enel fairy vearth bit but I think that's such a great thought. Totally makes sense
The Lego globe being in the background goes crazy
It really sounds like the mother flame is sinking the islands. Like those holes in the ocean are just where the island got pushed to the bottom.
