Have both, wish I had a CTSBD1N Delica. The lightweight clip is, I’m afraid to say, a liability when working. It can get hung up and twisted easily, but not so the higher solid pocket clip on the delica.
After looking at this vid three times I put away my M-3 para3 and started to carry my Delica 4 in zip-189. It is thinner but lighter. Cuts great and zdp189 stays sharp ! And that green color is perfect. ESP good for sweat pants cause it is so lightweight.
My Endura in VG-10 feels so strong for what some people call a "plastic knife", lol I wouldn't mind a smaller knife for some tasks, maybe a Delica would be great, but the disassembly is a pain ! I love the proper blade length of the Endura for food stuff, but it can feel needlessly long for some outdoor tasks, like cutting some zip ties... In case I would need a knife in a defensive situation the endura would be more useful for sure... Dilemmas...
Delica. no frills, just a tool.I like the Para 3 lightweight, but I had issues with the first one I bought. The Knifejoy exclusive in 20cv is much improved though.
Delica all day.. steel reinforced liner, washers on both sides, smaller in pocket, stronger pocket clip. if u want go fidget, buy a spinner, not a knife..
I know this video is old but yes I had the same confusion about these two knives. My Para 3 is really nice to look at but the skinner Delica 4 has better density in it's feel. It feels solid and more steady than the Para 3 lightweight.
And the winner is… neither one! Get a BHQ Mint Sage5 LW, (TiCN treated M4 blade), instead! It has 2 PB pivot washers, 2 steel liners, a pivot bushing, and uses only 1 size of screws; T8.
great video! i just bought a fully serrated black Tenacious lightweight. not as a stand alone edc, but paired with a SwissTool Spirit Plus Ratchet. with my tools and my modest skills im able to sharpen an ordinary steel like 440c or the one of Victorinox razor-sharp. its alot dificult for me to do that on 154cm or D2. thats why i chose 8Cr13MoV for serrated. i own some serrated kitchen knifes from Victorinox and a Hunter XT and i do a decent jod sharpening with my tools. if id have to carry only one tool, then i would go with a multitool, not a (folding) knife. i need pliers almost as often as a blade.
I pair my Delica with Victorinox Trekker, for bushcraft and outdoors activities, and I always carry with my alox Pioneer. And when I'm camping or for a longer time in the wilderness I also carry my Glock knife or kukri
Delica 4 sabre grind won for me. I dont like the lanyard hole on the para3 i think it might take the comfort away if u put a lanyard in it. And its still about 130 euros here too much for me too worry. Would be cool if they just made a new pocket clip for the delica. I cant imagine it would be hard to make.. I would pay like 5 - 10 bucks for it and it would definitely be a cool upgrade. But whatever i dont think its necessary anyways 🙌 nice review👌
Got someting that beats out both-the hogue doug ritter mini, and in some ways the bugout beats out all three, differences really are so negligible though,Id say just chose from your persoa! preference. Now the endura vs the pm2,verseses the full size ritter is a really hard one,but there are big differences in those three, all great knives though

Is the Pada 3 a new Spyderco knife? I’ve been searching online for 2 hours for the Pada 3, but am unable to find it anywhere. Your Pada 3 looks identical to the Para Military 3. Is the Pada a cheaper version of the PM like the Chinese version? Where did you purchase your Pada 3? Thx!
@@Rubes160 it is cringe because the para 3 isn't actually called the for 3 in fuckin Spanish. Para in this context is not the Spanish word para, it's para-military.
I wish the para 3 had 2.5mm steel. I don't use my pocket knife for anything serious, I much prefer a thin slicey blade over something thick and "strong". A chapparal with a compression lock would be my perfect EDC.
that clip on the Para 3 is garbage! It wouldn't even be a choice for me in those configurations you have, the delica, hands down, all day long. Throw the S110V steel on that Para 3 and that's your winner!!!

I am fully satisfied with my Delica. Super light, small knife. Fits well in hand. Nothing less/nothing more.

The mantra 3,is the same size as the delica ,but has a compression lock, and weights about the same, great knife
Yikes, fake carbon fiber
Delica ALL THE WAY.
The PM3 LW feels cheap
I love the Para 3 in G10, but between these 2, Delica 4 all the way. Better slicing. FRN looks and feels better, and the lockback is king.
para 3 is rock solid even without liners
And the winner is… neither one!

I have a Benchmade Bugout. It’s the 2nd most expensive knife I own, and it feels cheaper than my $25 Camillus.
If the Delica had a front choil & better steel, I’d pick it every time.
Zdp 189 stretch 😉
Delica comes in several types of steel. I have one in k390 and one in stainless
What’s a Potta 3?
potta 3?

Hands down, the Delica 4. My EDC.
Is he calling it pada3?
That shit drove me nuts lol
@@nickallen8333 hahahahaha ikr
para means 'for' in spanish. He's pronouncing Para like 'potta', as it is pronounched in spanish.
Parda 3 ftw
I get it: 'potta' as in 'para' as in spanish, meaning 'for'. Para = for, in spanish. Pronounced 'potta'.

Love ur review. I think I will love it being lighter
Pear-uh 3
What a great review
I really like both.

He’s saying, “Para 3”
It's written in the vidéo title
Powder 3?
I love my para 3 lightweight
Delica is my pic by far
Everytime i hear “Potta 3” i have a stroke..
I own both so ......
Pada? No..... Para. Cringe
He's saying it like it would be said in spanish. Para is pronounched "pada" in spanish. No cringe.

You can try the Sage 5 lw it has a compression lock but its thickness is 3mm.
@@JusttheEdge yeah, it's also much more attractive that the Para3. But, I think, 3mm is still quite thick for an EDC.
You left out the Native 5 & Sage series. Spyderco’s is loaded with knives around the 3 inch range.
Ear destroying intro
It's pear-a, not podda. It's not spanish.
Thanks for saying what I think most of us were thinking.
It totally is like he’s pronouncing it as a Spanish word hahah
He's being a goof. He knows that.
