So kind of hard to explain but in the unboxing there are C-brackets that cradle the unit, then there's flat plates that bolt to the C-brackets. Those flat plates are supposed to bolt to a T-nut that you slide into the the OEM bedrails. Only problem is the Decked system raises the floor so high that I wouldnt be able to install this way without drilling a few new holes into the flat plate so I decided to snake the top part of the flat plate behind the OEM bedrails and then add a few "heavy duty" Amazon zippies for good measure. The weight of the full rack shower coupled with the brackets being stuck behind the OEM bedrails is enough to keep it pretty secure (with no bolts or zips). We will likely drill the flat plates at some point but the zips held up to about 90 minutes of rough terrain so no rush at the moment!
