Do you know of any 700hp truck with a locking front differential and IFS? Even dumbo Ford had to get rid of the limited slip from the regular Rap when they made the Raptor R. I wish we had a selectable locker!

@@2URLex Yea if you watched the beginning we didn't intend to drop into that hole. We were just trying to go around it to get to our campsite. Place was so slick that just getting close to the hole was enough to fall into it. When you have little kids in ur truck and you slip into a hole inadvertently and feel the truck starting to roll to 1 side with water entering the cab, come talk to us. SMH

Good Qs man but first of all, you need to come wheel with us sometime! We can't seem to get a Rex out with us anymore! 2nd, we've got almost 44k on the odometer and a stock driveshaft (but we've gone through 5-6 CV axles before the diff drop). I think the Diff drop is the ticket to keeping the CV axles much happier than they are from the factory. Less CV angle = less CV boot chafing/rubbing = less boot failure. It's not bulletproof but it's definitely a much better CV angle than stock. We're running the Rocky Road Outfitters rock sliders with kicker step. We're on the 3rd iteration of them now and the company has warrantied the 1st two. They're actually coming out with an upgraded, "rock crusher" edition based on what we've done to their previously "indestructible" rock slider 🤣. We'll have a video out on that pretty soon 🤘🤘

Diff drop lowers the angle of the CVs back to a much safer angle. The CV angle is already pretty radical from the factory so any lift and it's putting a ton of extra pressure on the boots/etc. When the accordion part of the boots rub/chafe, it causes them to wear prematurely and then grease starts to seep out, then fly out, and then the axles go. If you reduce the angle of the CVs (via the diff drop), the boots wont chafe into each other as much, stresses and pressures on the CVs are relieved some/etc.
