So excited to see an update on Biddy and Miley's progress! I can't wait to see her finally lay her eggs in this beautiful nest! Wonderful video as always. :)
Yay! I'm really happy to see this 😍 I don't have a nestbox to watch at the moment, so this is really nice 😊This year on YT I've seen one great tit nesting fail while brooding, when the mother bird died while defending her nest. I also saw a blue tit's nest with 9 chicks, where one of them had dwarfism and died 😔 Fortunately the other 8 did really well and all fledged one morning within 45 minutes! IRL I I fitnessed only a few days ago the first flying lessons for common swift in my own backyard! It was so relaxing just lying on a sofa on a terrace, seeing the vast amount of birds just swooshing by - and at times really low! I have always birds a lot, but seeing inside the nestbox has really made me even more interested in them. It's so different, when I understand more their needs etc! Anyway, hope your exams and nature project (was it a documentary?) all went well! ⭐
It'll be nice to see the gaps filled in from the livestream as I wasn't always able to keep it up or going. 0:31 don't feel the need to pretend that it's closer to the actual posting date tho... we all understand. or I guess you might've misspoke, in which case nevermind.
That's letting people know what date the footage is from not pretending it is the 9th of June 😅 As people watch these videos In random parts of year and not just when posted 😁 Thanks for watching 🙌😁
Is this their second brood of the year? I had bluetits in my nest box this year and the last hatchlings left the nest on June 9th. (Norway) I though my tits were late compared to other nest cameras I’ve seen this year
No he was saying June but this is actually April as you can see on the camera date in the top right. It has been a while since the last video was posted so we are a couple months behind here.
So happy to watch this video! Thanks
