I think you should do more of these anime looking stuff! I am making an FPS game and I am trying to add anime stuff to it, anyways... ***** 5 out of 5 stars, I was able to do this without having a problem, you were the easiest tutorial i found and made really good stuff, have a good day! :)
For the cylinders I just first followed the same steps used to make the sphere a vfx, and then in edit mode, I simply grabbed the top ring of the cylinder, and scaled it up! I hope this helps!
These tutorials have been extremely helpful, but one little thing I wish you could also include is how to animate this VFX's for the benefit in a scene
I would recommend this trick for people who want to use the duplicate feature. At the 2:30 timestamp, you can simply scale down the second effect to create the appearance of two layers of that effect. Additionally, you can rotate it by clicking R + X, Y, or Z. Thank you for the tutorial; I enjoyed the humor in this video. Overall, it's very helpful!
Hey I know a few other people had a similar problem, and their solution was to go back to the vertex edit mode, and make sure that they had added a vertex group! Hope this helps!
I used the same process, of creating a vfx from a object, however I used the "Torus" to make the ones that look like they circle around! Hope this helps!

Make sure that during the vertex group part of the video, you select all vertices and assign them to a vertex group, and make sure that you select this vertex group in the mask modifier. Let me know if this helps!

If you were to set a keyframe on the mask modifier when it was at zero, and then another keyframe once the mask modifier is at 1, this would create the effect of the sphere "fading away". Let me know if this helps!
@@KimsuKale Make sure you are setting your keyframes properly! For your first keyframe(At Frame 1) set your mask to 0, and then at your last frame (ex. Frame 30) set your frame first, then set a keyframe on your mask modifier to 1. Hope this helps!
if you are talking about the objects as a whole, simple select them, and press s to scale, however if you are talking about the vfx, increase the threshold of the ask modifier! Hope this helps!

@blenderbuilder any chance you might have the project still? I'm curious what exact settings you put on the cylinders. Excluding the mask, all of the edits seemed pretty far off from how you made them look but that could be an issue with how much I subdivided
Sorry I don't believe I do, but I would recommend seeing if you took the modifier up too much, and if that doesn't work I would recommend trying to follow the tutorial again from the start, a nd pay close attention to the details! hope this helps!
I made myself some energy spheres, but when i export as gld and import to godot, the outer spheres just become whole and edgy again. How can i export it the way i have it in blender?
i do not know if it's my headset or that was intentional but the knock, knock on 3:45 tricked me to open my door like 3 times before i realize it's in the video :)))) and even after i knew it's in the video it was weirdly realistic.
My custom audio in settings are usually lowered and the audio on YT vids is set to around 10%. That said, please be a little mindful of the loud audio clips you have, even with my audio lowered it was still pretty loud.
When you export models from blender that have materials, unfortunately the color will not export to blender unless saved as a texture file. My recommendation to you is to either, re-paint the model in Roblox studio, or to texture paint the model in blender! if you want to know how to do so, check out the video on my channel about adding color in blender!
You may have the intensity for the bloom down, but this is a simple fix! Either take up the intensity of bloom when you turn on bloom, or put a higher emission value for your colors!
I think rather than making a sphere and destroying it with modifers. it would probably be more efficient to use a procedural texture to map away areas that would be invis. Then use a texture coordinate to animate it Still looks sick tho

Tutorial is great, the boosting your mic gain randomly was jarring, and the joke clips were just a tad too loud. Overall though you did deliver on the VFX tutorial

While quick and informative, the earrape and random spamming of memes can be a put off to people like myself looking around youtube for blender tutorials. If you want to spice up your videos for this kind of presentation then that's fine but work on your execution. For example after achieving the desired effect you could slap a "Michael Rosen - Nice" in there. The tutorial overall was indeed quick and easy to understand but that immediate earrape at the start was an instant mute for the video going forward so this gets a thumbdown from me. Although there is a lot of potential here and your directions don't have any uneccessary filly (Aside the exccessive loud clips and earrape) so work on weaving that into your videos in a more reasonable manner and you could be eductional while entertaining to view. I'll subscibe as well not just for the tutorials but to see how your videos evolve over time. I hope you keep at the tutorials as there can't be enough for newcomers curious to try blender. I just hope this isn't their first video to click on as a starting point on your channel.

Make sure your in the evee rendering setting, you have the emission of the material at around 10, and your in the material preview setting!

The closest thing to bloom in Roblox Studio is to assign the part to a neon material, but you can't exactly adjust it as much as in Blender!

Hey so, great video in terms of what you're teaching and all that. But the memes are extremely disruptive. I'd recommend at least lowering the volume on them a bit
