    Could you list where you got the parts from and what they numbers were if you still have them? (I know that was 2 years ago...but I can hope)

    You forgot it at least I didn't see you put in the oring that goes between the gland and the tiller body that seals the gland and body. Good job though. I got the same problem and it looks like I have the exact same seal and bearing set up.

    Do you happen to have the John Deere part numbers for the bearing, seal, lock-ring and such?

    That poor old girl has had the lick. Why don’t you drop a couple quarters and go through it. Those tines were worn out ten years ago. You’d be amazed at the difference new ones will make…the soil will work up better and you’ll be wanting to run it with a tractor instead of that overgrown lawnmower…new tines require more power…but worth it. 5000 series make good tiller tractors, their engines produce so much more torque than yanmar engines do. I’ve had them both. Don’t need a new tractor just one with enough balls to handle the work.
