I have a question on my 2019 Tacoma it looks like if you remove the bolts to install the front rail the blind nuts on the back of the bed will fall off and if they do you are not getting them back on. So am I just seeing them wrong and the blind nuts will stay on ?? I need this to work because I want to install a bike rack but the front rail needs to be on for the types of racks I want to use

Ron Shuler I’m not sure about nuts on the back end. Mine didn’t have any. Again maybe the 2019 Tacoma’s are different? But I highly doubt it. I would just try and take one screw out and slowly progress to the other ones if it seems safe enough that your won’t lose the blind bolts you’re talking about. Hope this helps.

Ron, did you ever figure out the blind nuts on your 2019 Tacoma? I have the same truck and noticed this also and am worried if I take them out the blind nuts will fall off and would be very hard to put back on.

Great video! Is the rail the same length as the size rails?

No the new bed rail is 4 inches longer than the side rails. You can find it on eBay if you are in the market for an additional bed rail. Glad you enjoyed the video though
