Alice can I ask if you recommend or not starting hypopressives in the early stages of pregnancy? Ive been encouraging my daughter to start for a while but she has left it and now is in very early stages and has read the holding breath is not recommended. 🤷🏼♀️ 🙏
Hi Karen, so the breath hold and rib stretch is contraindicated in pregnancy - so she needs to wait now. You can do a modified version of the breath work and most of the poses are fine. Hypopressives are really helpful for the pelvic floor and posture during pregnancy. Do get her to email me if she needs any more info. Thanks, Alice
Hi Theresa, yes they are all safe for DR - as long as you don't have any contraindications to the vacuum breath (high blood pressure, heart conditions etc). Are you a complete beginner? Alice
