Hi Alice, I have been following your videos for nearly three years. With grade 2/3 rectocele, I once thought I was broken but now I'm completely normal again. Last week I got back from Disney, Orlando having spent 12 hour days tramping around the parks with my grandchildren, regularly queueing 2 hours for a 4 minute ride! I'm 73 very proud of myself, and planning to do it with them again next year! I made sure to do one of your classes every day which I found relaxing yet energising. Thank you so much 💓 I am really enjoying your latest videos, the poses are familiar yet have twists that make them challenging.❤
Wow Helen, I'm so happy for you! Thank you so much for sharing - how absolutely wonderful!! You should be SO proud of yourself. Well done for sticking with a regular practice and thank you for being here 💕
Helen, have you been able to have success just using the videos and not having a one-on-one coach? I’m just getting started. I’m glad you’re doing so well!
This fills me with hope. I used Alice as a one on one coach (great value for money I must say!) after giving birth to our fifth child and feeling like I could never run again. As an avid marathon runner this was devastating for me. With 3 months of Alice’s coaching and daily practice I was able to start running again. Then - I triggered a prolapse 2 weeks ago (after running happily for over a year) by doing a silly game with friends which involved crazy bending. I hadn’t been doing the hypopressives daily before this point. I’m back on them again -10 days in and I already feel the difference. In waiting on a formal assessment from a pelvic floor physio but I want to say thank you to Alice for helping me not to panic and encouraging me to keep going. Your videos make such a difference!
@@maryjaneaxelson Ah MJ, it's such a roller coaster isn't it, looking after our pelvic floors! So glad you're already feeling the difference after 10 days of practice. Looking forward to seeing you soon xx
Hi Alice, I only found you a week or so ago and then a few days ago realised you had different sequences and not just the one. This is my second one. Thank you so much for the yoga calm, with clear, gentle instructions. Amazing that in a world with so much grasping, you provide this for free. My body and mind say thank you!!
What a great routine Alice, I loved doing this. Doing your hypopressives each morning over the last 10 months has really improved my core strength, which is amazing! Thanks so much for the fantastic work you do 👏❤xx
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback and support for my channel! So glad it's helpful and well done for being amazingly consistent with your practice 🙌🏻🎉
Lovely sequence, Alice, I really enjoyed this one. I like to do a slightly longer practice when I have the time, I feel it really helps to maintain my continence. I try to do at least 10-13 mins each day. I could feel the gentle pull at the front in the diamond shape which was great. Thank you so much for all you do on TH-cam. ❤️🙏
Thank you so much for the monthly calendars! It's really helped in making this an (almost!) daily practice. I'm wondering if it's normal to have a little bit of abdominal pain while doing the reclining or hands & knees poses? It's nothing terrible, just wondering if it's things moving around and strengthening up and also if it will eventually go away. Thanks again!!
Thanks for following along. If it feels like the muscles are working deeply, whilst doing those poses, then this can be normal. They are difficult poses! But if you're concerned at all, best to book in for a one-to-one session x
Hi Heather, if they're engaging automatically to hold the poses just go with it! Try to let the hypopressives do all the pelvic floor work, but for the harder poses, your core is going to naturally kick in to support your position in the poses. Hope that helps! Alice
Hey, the apnoea is cued in the practise videos (inhale, exhale, hold your breath, pause, stretch your ribs......inhale). I don't do the vacuum myself as there is too much to cue which is where I'm guessing the confusion is! x
Hello Alice. I have rectocele prolapse. Awaiting MRI. The surgeries I've looked at seem awful. I think (and hope) im stage 1 or 2. Would these exercises fix it or do you know if surgery would still be necessary? Id like to do as much as possible myself to try and fix it Thankyou x
Hi Kay, sorry to hear you're struggling with prolapse symptoms. Stage 1 or 2 is a great time to be improving things conservatively. If you want to give it a really good go, we have a 1-2-1 coaching programme you might want to look into? We're getting great results with the women we are working with who have rectocele (and other prolapses). If you'd prefer to learn by yourself, start with the beginners playlist and work through the videos in order and repeat the practice videos until you feel confident before moving onto more poses - this video is quite hard for beginners! You should feel increasing benefit and a reduction in your POP symptoms from a regular practice 💕
Hi Alice I have been doing these exercises for nearly 5 years. However since february i took a break. Then i restarted a month later but less often. Are my efforts in vain because of that break?! Or the frequency i have been doing them now?!
Hello, as long as you don't have any contraindications but best to check the hernia out with a coach to see if you can safely do hypopressives as it is a caution 👍🏻
Was recommended by a friend. Where is the basic apnea advice? You just say stretch rib cage . I have done pranayama in yoga 40 years seems very similar, but want to get sequence right. Thanks Toria

Bonus stretches for my tight neck today too. 👌🏻
Such a good one for a tight neck 🙌🏻
Many thanks Alice..got a bit off track recently and needed a good practice to get me back. This has done it! Love the extra length and challenges
Great to have you back here with us Bernie! And glad you enjoyed the new flow 😊

Hi Karen, this is great to hear - thank you for sharing. And thank you for your kind words 💕🙏🏻
This was a nice targeted practice. Challenging with all the arm reaches. 💪🏽
They are surprisingly challenging aren't they!
Thanks Alice, love this one, may use slow-mo again next time, so I can take my time on it. Xx
Good idea - love that the slow-mo is working for you! xx
Thank you Alice, a great start to my week.
Fantastic!!
This is my fave!
Love this one too 💕
This is a new favourite, thank you 🙏
Hi Gina, so lovely to see you here! Love this one too 💕
Love your videos Alice! 💖This one was slightly more challenging but just what I needed! 👌 ThankU from my core! 😁🙏💞

@@hypopressiveswithalice They are deceptively difficult poses. Love that! Thanks again!
This was a great one.
Thanks Ant!
Thank you Alice. It was a bit harder than it looked. I found myself engaging my core stomach muscles and pelvic floor muscles. Is this correct please?

Hi, so no apnea in this routine, sorry to be dumb but how can we call this hypopressives? Thank you, still leaning here xx
