The theme of the boss battle against Sigma(Intro Stage Form and First Form) from Mega Man X5. Picture and music were downloaded from The Mega Man Network(www.themmnetwork.com), and are copyrights of Capcom.
@@Kira22558 Considering how the entire world is terribly affected by his virus, I would argue that he "always lose". His defeats always comes at terrible costs.
ZiggyKick921 im still a capcom fan since Fate Unlimited Code and Megaman X series happened... but im still angry about Megaman's creator and stuff like that.
Mega Man X5 - quite unique as far as Sigma is concerned. He's the first AND last boss - it's usually some other Maverick that serves as first boss. And the final battle of the game is behind 2 boss shutters (standard) and doesn't leave that room (like in X4, X6).
To me, in my opinion, Sigma was at his most powerful and diabolical in X5. Yes I agree with most that the game has its downs...but none could deny the music and theme that is Sigma's boss theme here.
One of his best designs. Really makes him feel like he ascended towards a plane we don't understand, or that he is in a level we don't understand, which is what the general bad guy plan in X5 was to me, a true final plot, between Wily and Sigma in the shape of Gamma. More on the Sigma side, Wily, as always, has something up his sleeve... (Omega) should have ended there for Sigma, on a high note finally connecting him to the previous big bad and revealing him as another piece in Wily's chess (Sigma's top plot on his own will always be X4 hands down)
I still think the scary part of this is it's called psycho sigma. Like he lost his mind. Hes willing to kill the earth to turn zero evil. Hes gone mad. It feels like it too. X and zero is his lair background. The capsules of them with him too
0:48 Who am I now in this world without her? Petty and dull with the nerve to doubt her What does it matter? It's already done Now I've got to be there for her son
Wouldn't surprise me if they did. Japanese composers do tend to sample Western tunes which is kinda cool especially since Capcom did develop some Disney games back then.
Yeah, this DEFINITELY sounds like the Demon's Crest Boss Fight Music. It's called 'Challenge of Devils'. Am I the only one who noticed that? It's from another Capcom game.
@Dominotik Ivan Tulovskiy More like Capcom wanted to milk the X series rather than the fans forcing them to do so. X5 was supposed to end the X story and X was supposed to actually become the Villain for the Zero 1 game as a throwback to the X4 ending and the bad ending from X5 where X slowly starts to act like a maverick, but Capcom was like "fuck that shit, we cant have X being the Villain, he's way too liked to become one and we need him to make more money for the X series, also bring Zero back to life because he's a fan favorite and Ruin all the story built in the other X games + ending of X5 for no reason besides money, after all who cares about story in a mega Man game? Lmao Zero comes back to life because he hid himself while repaired himself, perfect explanation lolololo". X5 actually sold less than X4, that proved that what made X6 happen wasnt pressure from the fans, more like Capcom wanted some Quick cash. While It would definetely be Sad for the X series to end, especially in such a heartbreaking way that would make X become the Villain of the Zero series, I would've actually preffered the X games to end with X5, since It was the last good X game with story and gameplay combined, and I really would've liked to see How would the original X (even with the memory erased thing) react to seeing and talking to Megaman Zero's.... Zero, and If they would actually remember each other from the past, well at least Copy X exists but I still think the original X being the Villain would strenght the Megaman Zero Story. If X6 was at least Just as Fun or even better than X4 and X5 gameplay wise, then I probably wouldnt hate It so much, but the fact It took all the story constructed in X1 - X5 and destroyed It alongside the X5's brilliant ending, while being a mediocre Mega Man game made as a cash grab while being rushed unpolished and damn unbearable at times annoys me to this day.
X5 I legit think is kinda underrated, I don't doubt the game has it's flaws that I'm just not seeing yet but the music, story, and gameplay I still think are very strong and honestly pretty consistent.

I'm gonna have to go through the Mega Man X legacy collection again. X5 was a mixed bag, but imo Sigma was definitely at his best here. He also sports my favorite design in X5, and fighting him after finally settling things with Zero--or perhaps, helping Zero to settle things with himself/his past--was honestly a great finale. The Maverick virus was slowing melting Sigma's...er, brain chip (?) for the past 4 games, but it was here that the mantle was finally passed onto Sigma from Zero in its entirety. Sigma in this game also most closely embodied Dr. Wily and his malignant legacy, too; he clings to a thread of his sanity, but is clearly about to go off the deep end--not just in terms of of his personality, but also the ridiculousness of him constantly coming back to life/etc. in X6/7/8. Considering he was a literal zombie in X6, part of me feels like Capcom was just poking fun at Sigma from that point on. Hopefully Capcom decides to make an X9 at some point. I'd like to see how the Maverick mantle gets passed on from Sigma, and...honestly, there's no denying the in-your-face cliffhanger. I really like that in this game he enlists Wily’s help (somehow, no clue how) to rebuild the Gamma body from Mega Man 3
