- This is the soundtrack X vs Zero soundtrack made by BREIS and used for the video X vs Zero Decisive Battle 2 made by ultimatemaverickx.
The soundtrack is a remix of the boss music when fighting Zero in Virus Stage 3.
Megaman X was made by capcom. All music and character rights go to them. Credit for the music in this vid goes to Breis. Awesome job on it bro! :o
I claim no credit for any of the pictures or music in this video, being that I found it all online after it was made by others. I just wanted to put something nice together and have fun with this, following the proviso given under the fair use law for media and entertainment software.

Thus Zero is capable of reducing and destroying all, even those with infinite potential as infinity times zero is still zero. Thus Zero is the strongest number in a sense as it is neither positive or negative, only a force of destruction.

Matt Yan Just to precise a little thing... X actually don't mean infinite (there's the ∞ symbol for this); X is "the Unknown". X is a robot with unknown and uncalculable possibility, the one who can face everything and realise the impossible!
So, in fact all element concord to tell us: if X and Zero where to fight each other seriously, the overflowing awesomeness that would result shall destroy the trame of space :D
Curryel 2 X is a Variable, its unknown both his true potential, and how close he is to it.
Zero on the other hand, can only really use what he has better and better, with no real upgrades, but not necessarily a true limit to how great he may get, just as 0 divided or multiplied by anything is 0, he might not get stronger, but he can work with in ever greater plans
This also plays into how X generally surpasses Zero, X is a variable, it could be a negative number, thus being less then Zero, but it could also be a positive number, and thus greater, he repeatedly shows this power in his growth

I'm so baffled nobody in the fandom remember Sigma took a bullet for Zero by being infected with Zero's violent program when they first met. Sigma after defeating Zero could have just terminate him on the spot, but chose to bring Zero back to HQ to repair him.

@@theotv5522It wasn't a violent program, infact Zero has a patch program to try and control his violent tendencies. Thats why it seemed like he had a headache just before Sigma punched him. He was infected with Zero's virus but it wasn't for violence.
It is ironic how Willy created Zero as a weapon of destruction to deafeat X, but Zero not only becomes X's companion but also the best hero the world could ask for in Megaman X and Megaman Zero.
Even better when Mega Man 11 revealed that Wily's initial goal was to make robots into heroes.

@@Cynna_M It wasn't X that saved Zero. It was Sigma. Remember when Sigma found Zero awakened and rampaging in a warehouse, he dueled Zero and almost lost. But thanks to Sigma's punch, that violent program transferred to Sigma and Zero became tame again.
So without Sigma, Zero would have been considered a Maverick and terminated should they send a stronger force to deal with him. Sigma took a bullet for Zero and I'm so baffled nobody in the fandom remember this.

however zero's spare body used in the zero games is weaker than the original wily made body that omega uses which is at it's most powerful due to dr wiel bringing out it's full power while zero still contains the same dna soul as x series zero
which really shows how copy x and zero and so different but the same in many aspects

Zero is a number than when divided by or between any number turns them to 0, basically into nothing.
X means infinite, infinite can be anything including zero in wich case the division of two 0s has no result.

Footnotes on how Inafune originally intended for the Zero series to be:
-Original X would have gone mad (illustrated by his eyes turning red) after a series of events (like discovering he is the "original reploid" and "losing Zero"), declared himself the "messiah of mankind" and started killing off "all mavericks" not excluding innocent reploids, this would have lead to worldwide peace and humanity would have reverred X a hero.
- There would have been no Weil and no "Omega Zero, X would have replaced Omega as "The messiah bahahaha!" by keeping his original form while secretly gathering and keeping all the power-ups during the games and weapons thus becoming X-Omega aka Omega X. (upon closer inspection of my sources, I discovered that X gathering all the powers, was an early dismissed concept as the game data was too limited to include more than a few references, as far as the story goes it was rather "X`s endless potential" that made him declare himself into the Messiah.
-Lumine`s second form design is based on the Omega X`s concept, thus the close similarities between the two, such as the angelic design (fitting for a "robot messiah X")
-Zero would have been himself rather than a copy and rather than being led by "elf X" he would have been led by (believe it or not) "Cyberspace Dr.Wily".
-This Dr.Wily would have revealed himself to be Dr.Light at the end though, thanking Zero for "undoing his mistake" Where a angered Zero would have responded "I NEVER LIKED YOU! X WAS NO MISTAKE HE WAS MY FRIEND!" At this point Cyber Dr.Light would have "started to feel tired" and "died", (hinting that Zero had not only met Light before, but also that Zero was intended to be the end of Dr.Light)
-Sigma would have returned claiming to be able to exist for as long the "original source of all mavericks exists" this would have later been revealed to be "project Omega".
-It would have been revealed that Zero was "project Omega" Zero feeling overwhelmed and guilty for X becoming insane (strongly hinting X had been infected and become a Maverick himself thus calling himself Omega X and gone mad with power)
-X would never had lost his memory, and Axl is nowhere in the original script (Inafune dislikes Axl considering him a Neo-Mickey Mouse) (X would have claimed to have lost his memory though, yet as Zero defeats him, he "remembers" again, and claims he never forgot but could not exist "alone" anymore, much like the Japanese series X apparently had A LOT of psychological issues for a robot of sorts)
-Zero would have defeated Sigma, where Sigma reminds Zero that "both have to die" and shouts "A HERO SUCH AS YOURSELF MUST ALWAYS EXIST TO BRING PEOPLE SALVATION" at this point Zero would have shouted his iconic phrase "I never claimed to be a hero etc" and destroyed "Core Sigma" this would have led to the crash landing that would have killed off both Zero and Sigma ending the series for good.
Also the original story kept many of the "I know that Zero will return someday" elements, this is a religious reference towards "The Messiah" in where X turns out to be the false one (hinted by Dr.Light reminding X all the time that he has free choice and as such hopes he will become a champion of mankind) while Zero`s free choice is left ambiguous), Dr.Cain much like his biblical counterpart awoke X (the original sin) before his time, and about a thousand other religious and biblical references.
And much much more, Capcom hated the story, Inafune kept it and this was one of the reasons he left Capcom
During this war X (there was no clone in the original script) lost faith in "the peace between humans and reploids" (for reasons later revealed) this leading him to declare himself the "Savior of mankind" and during then he also discovered that he was the "original reploid the responsible one for every Maverick ever"

Looks like X using his new armours designed by Cyber-Elf Dr. Light and at the beginning of the Cyber Elf Wars Will have to take on a new set of Mavericks ready to take X down through their exceptional preparing.
X will likely need to spend time not getting torn to pieces especially by the Reploid who was on the Maverick side by left to help X, Zero and Axl! That 2.0 model Reploid is named Topaz due to his Yellowish-Gold colours and dual Beam Sabres.
You know, as someone with a totally unbiased perspective of the X and Zero games as I've only gotten into them a month ago, I noticed something strange with them, most people are always amazed at how Zero went from a guy you see 2 times to practically being the main character in stories like X4 and X5 and practically the entire lore after the classic games. But I've never seen anyone mention how X just gets barely any attention.
First off, let me get this argument out of the way "Zero is a more interesting character, therefore he gets more development" yes, zero is indeed a more interesting character than X, and I like him as much as the next guy, but there in lies the problem, We know Zero's personality since we've seen him a Lot, therefore he is a more Interesting character because we know him much more than X and he gets a lot more attention than him, see, just because I've gotten into this franchise recently, doesn't mean that I don't know that he was meant to be the main character but was initially rejected due to being too different than classic Megaman, but even then, X just gets almost nothing if you think about it, we know he is the final creation of Dr. light, we know he can absorb the powers of those be defeats, and we know that he's a pacifist at heart even if that won't stop him from fighting for what he thinks is justice. But other than that, we don't know much, compare that to zero, who we know that he is a creation of wily and was practically made to be a container for the zero virus until he transferred it to sigma and became his own person by helping X, we've seen him struggling when he comes to terms with what his original creator wanted him to be even if he himself doesn't want to be that. Then the Zero games rolled around and his character for even better, but I don't think even need to go over that to just prove my point, Zero was always more interesting and had more things going on with his character than X ever had. Which is a shame, they had practically both the same groundwork, but only zero got developed along and X just got left behind, I haven't played all the X games, but I know that his character doesn't really evolve, he remains the same (and occasionally becomes even worse *cough cough* X7) his character had a lot of room to grow, but it just, didn't. We were never explained what makes him special in comparison to other reploids or the original Megaman other than the fact that he's a pacifist at heart. For crying out loud, we were never explained why he is called X, X apparently stands for, "limitless potential" but we never saw that potential evolve, what makes him special In comparison to classic?
I'm gonna say it right here, Megaman maverick hunter X has the best portrayal of X by far, in the day of sigma, were actually explained what makes him stand out from all other reploids, and it's the fact that while reploids are more similar to humans than previous robots, they are still unable to care and worry about humans which overall makes them appear as more careless than humans (which I guess is a canonical reason as to why seemingly every reploid doesn't fear death) , meanwhile X has those capabilities,(and overall is more close to an actual human than other reploids) not to mention, that game also explains the "limitless potential" he apparently has but was never seen. Under the right circumstances he can become more powerful than any other reploid, but he's unaware of it. Not to mention we've also seen sigma literally using X's worrying as a weakness and literally told him tha the only reason he was able to fire those missiles on that city was because he didn't have the will to shoot his commander even when he was totally aware that he was crazy, meanwhile another reploid would've likely not thought about it twice. And while in terms of personality MHX X also didn't get much development, since we were literally explained what makes him special and that was a remake of X1 even if it changed some plot points, I think it's fair to say that he would've gotten more development in the sequel, which makes it sting even more that that series got cancelled, I would've loved to see X get more development.
And then there's when you realize that instead of a Copy X it was supposed to be X having turned into a Maverick in MZ1 with that continuing into him being the final boss in X3 instead of ANOTHER copy x, and that it would have been Sigma (again) as the final boss of MZ4 and revealing that he would always return so long as Zero (the original progenitor of the Maverick virus) yet lived. This would have completely changed the tone of the series as a whole with Zero having to kill his friend not once, but twice, and Light masquerading as Wily as he lead Zero along to the end of MZ3. Then he thanks Zero for 'fixing his greatest mistake and Zero berating Light to the point him 'feeling tired', which could be interpreted as Light finally cracking under the weight of everything and possibly starting to die. So yeah...the Zero series was almost a lot more depressing than what we actually got.
@@TormaXimnus I knew that X was meant to be the main villain of zero 1, but I didn't know what was planned to be done with light and with his return in zero 3, while that would've been depressing, that would at least do something more with X's character than his own series ever did, and showcase that even he has limits.
During my childhood, I've always had a question: "Why is this game about X in the first place?" "Look how cool and brutal Zero is, etc. etc." But now, as an 18 y/o guy, seeing the whole situation, it's another one of those cases, where MC's partners ("anti-heroes" of sorts) get *A LOT* more attention even from the developers, than MCs themselves. Both Zero and Edgeworth
are developed way deeper in the main games, as well, as in their respective spin-offs. Of course, they had some, perhaps, nasty spots, them being AAI1 (which I actually love) and MMZ2, but they still weren't enough to soil the spin-offs as a whole.
I genuinely feel bad for both Phoenix and X, and wish they would have gotten just as much, if not more attention from the developers. Because otherwise it feels like they don't deserve such well-developed rivals. (I haven't played Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice, but I'll get to that, once AJ: Trilogy comes out)
There's something about me liking the more "sided" character. Only now that you've told me X basically has no character development did I realize 😂 Oh well, they also screwed up the X series anyway with X6 X7 and X8

39 years of age and still playing my Megaman X collection!!!. 1, 2, 4 and 5 are the best. Oh and this theme is still bad ass in 2020!!!
The megaman games are one of the classics in my opinion.
Some people think keyboard synthesizers have no place in metal, but I thought they were used tastefully here and it perfectly fit the technological and action packed world of Megaman.
Ah, but aren't you forgetting? In X1, Zero's buster was powerful enough to blast an arm off of Vile's Ride Armor, and in X5, when he finally begins to awaken, the power he gains makes it so that his buster is rivaling that of, and possibly even surpassing that of X's buster.
But under normal circumstances yes, Buster is usually just a small perk from X4 on.
2021, even though I played every megaman x game I didn't realize about this soundtrack, it's amazing.

I played as Zero using the black armor. I actually created a little story in my mind about the battle.
Alia: Sir, I'm picking up a massive energy spike. It's... Oh god, It's X!
Signus: Give me a visual!
Alia: Coming up! Signus, is he Maverick? I've never seen energy readings this high before!
(On screen, X is surrounded by red light. He throws his head back with a harsh laugh.)
Signus: This can't be! Get me Zero, quick!
(Zero walks in just as Signus speaks.)
Zero: Never. Again. Am. I. Facing. Huh? Why are you both looking at me? Is there a snarl in my hair? A split end?
Alia: Your hair is fine. Come look at the screen.
(Zero looks at the screen.)
Zero: That can't be X. He is immune to the virus!
Signus: That, is telling us otherwise. Zero, come over here a moment. You and I both know you intend to face him. I cannot in good faith let you go alone. Before you protest, I know you think I will, uh, cramp your style as you so lovingly put it, I am letting you go alone. Also, I am giving you this. If you can't stop X, use it.
Zero: But this is a detonator!
Signus: Yes, it is. Here. Load them into your buster. These pellets are packed with nanites. The detonator will force them to explode. If you can't stop X, stop him with what I have given you. Good luck and God speed, Zero.
Zero: Consider me gone!

That......would make for an awesome alternative ending for Zero. X goes maverick instead of him.

Lo malo es que no se puede disfrutar del todo ya que matas a Zero ó a X muy ràpido. Me hubiera gustado que hubieran tenido màs vida o que la batalla se hubieran dividido en fases, como por ejemplo, yo soy X y Zero està a punto de morir pero usa su Sub Tank, y empieza a cambiar de movimientos y ataques. Mucho mejor, pero mucho mucho mejor que me obligaran a usar mis poderes, como que zero està a punto de congelar el tiempo y para evitar congelarme yo también activo ese poder, con eso ambos nos congelamos y la escena al menos cambia de color, y así nos seguimos enfrentando con esa música tan épica. También usar otras habilidades obligadas por la situación creada por Zero o X.

Before there was Dante and Vergil, there was X vs Zero first (megaman x5)
I love both of these characters and often I find it so hard to choose between them but ultimatlety I always go towards X (personal preference).
I think maybe it's because of the different armors and different move sets you are able to use making gameplay somewhat more interesting but Zero is awesome because he hits hard and without mercy, a really destructive power so in a battle between X and Zero, it comes down to the old saying, ' What happens when an unstoppable force(X) meets an immovable object(Zero) ? '
I prefer X more than Zero too
Strangely enough i like X's armor changes but i'm better playing as Zero ( maybe because in platformers i prefer close combat more )
