What a great gun! That baby was ripping them in there too! 60 ft lbs on an entry level gun that you can hand pump relatively easy? Are you kidding me! That's Awesome!
@@coprguy1 one more bit of my experience... I didn't yet have a compressor so the Origin that came with the pump was a great option for me. I just recently got a Yong Heng compressor and it sure beats handpumping. Now I have my eyes on a wood stock Avenger. Good luck my friend. It's a great time to be an airgunner!
Maybe it is possible for even a bit more power? I think the 22 version comes out of box with the hammer spring one turn from max. Maybe the 25 is the same?
I have been waiting for them to come out with a 25 cal in the origin,it's more powerful than I thought it would be. I'm getting one as soon as I can. I'm like you with the grizzly slugs.i tried them in all my guns and they are all over the place at just 25 yards. If the one I get is as good as the one you got ill be very happy with it. I been wanting one that doesn't break the bank that shoots slugs accurately with power.
cant wait to see the g2 in .30 but this one for me hands down the best to get for the money with that power out the box ,25 shots at 57fpe, its not hard to pump this one and i would say its better made than the avenger. ok i small game hunt you have a limit that you can kill so 25 shots plenty for hunting but lets say out where the prairie dogs are then i would go with shot count like g2 or avenger
60fpe? Jesus… my Benjamin Kratos is pushing 42 so I’ve heard. I wonder if its because of other features. They didn’t need to add that much power. Its got a 500cc bottle. What do yall think?
It's all about fps x projectile weight. You can seriously up your ft lbs of energy by going to a heavier projectile. Even if it's at a lower FPS. of course you'll also have more bullet drop of you shoot over longer distance, but that heavier projectile will hang on to its velocity a lot farther than even a faster flying lighter projectile.
Good afternoon Rick, Would you recommend the Umerex over the Eagle Claw for hunting Coyotes ? Seems to be a powerhouse with plenty of energy to be effective, and ethical !
@@pinkyellowblue007 Avenger if you have access to a compressor! But this gun can be hand pumped. The avenger is more accurate and has a lot of aftermarket mods, you can ask me about those. Also, the avenger has 188ccs @ 4350 psi, you can also cut the stock and add a bottle swap kit. This origin is for those who want to shoot a good pcp and hand pump it.
Either one will work. The Origin is cheaper and has a better stock compared to the plastic Avenger. Both are powerful and accurate. I guess it comes down to what's more important to you.
Very nice glad they came out with a 25caliber but I’d really like your honest opinion on that gun versus the Seneca eagle claw 25 cal. And yes I know there’s a difference in price but that doesn’t matter at this point I just want a good quality PCP
@@AirGunWeb Thank you for your reply in a way kind of hoping you would say that. I have watched so many of your videos and other videos on different PCPs I like gauntlet ,origin , marauder and Kayden‘s. But it seems like everyone’s buying those rifles .
Hi @@AirGunWeb 33.95 jsb around 860fps is very good !! But do you think this rifle can shoot this pellets faster on hight power?? Or the 860fps is the max this rifle can do with the 33.95
These are great airguns for the beginner…sadly these are not the guns that you eventually hand down to your grandkids. Save your money, and buy something they can also enjoy like an Air Arms, or a Daystate. They will definitely get you in the game, and on point with excellent results, but I have already worn out an avenger in .25, and my high end guns are still going strong. Just food for thought for those who want to buy once cry once. That’s all that I’m saying period. Yes I am buying the bullpup version of the Avenger in .22 and .25 with the clear knowledge that they are not going to last like a high end, quality built airgun will. Seals are easy to replace, and the design isn’t complicated which makes them an awesome deal for the money. I love all of them. Long gun or bullpup S2G they are worth the money for a several years of shooting, just not something I plan on handicap down sadly. Great review Rick thank you.

The Origin has always been hard to ignore. It has so much to offer.
It took me several months of waffling before I committed to buy, but I couldn't be happier with my Origin.
@@joshuagibson2520 Hi Josh, I may commit too. Thanks for the feedback!

Umarex might be on to something with the consistency of the Origin. It seems like a new way of regulation. It's a great value. 👍
That's the best i have ever seen any gun shoot the grizzlies
Umarex has its issues but the new Gauntlet, Airsaber, Air javelin and this show they can still flip the industry
Gun of the year so far. Gonna be hard to beat
Hey Rick. Camain X in 25 love the hn grizzly. Found them once but can't find them anywhere now. I love the. Alot of knock down power.
OMG the power? 57 FPE is awesome! What position was the hammer adjustment set? Best budget .25 cal point and shot PCP so far!
This is out of the box. No mods. Just fill it up and shoot it.
Cheers

@@AirGunWeb Same air cylinder as the .22 cal of 3600 PSI? Bigger transfer port I would guess?

I love it just like it is. Why not make a budget powerhouse. It sure helps flatten the trajectory.

Really awesome power!
Origin in a 25? Nice!
good video.......where is your hammer.spring set? i cant get more than 10 to 12 shots on a fill.
I’m shooting factory settings.

So how does it work in the world of airguns. When will this actually hit suppliers and be available??

The eagle Claw in another class. It’s a better option if you have the cash.

Is this better than the Air Venturi Avenger?
Different gun. They both have different features to appeal to different types of shooters.

I agree. However, I still buy budget guns. It's great to carry something hunting and not have so much money tied up in it that you fear a scratch.
I bet he couldn't do that without a stand holding the gun in the same spot the entire time.
