when I first bought my 06’ E90 325xi on the check control menu (5:39), I had a total of 8 error messages. Felt so satisfying to see no error messages after that. 1 and a half years later still nothing. Love my E90 everyday I drive it, I seriously hope you end up keeping yours Beckerman!!
Guarantee you 100% if you took it to bmw, they’d tell you you have to “replace the entire headlight” and charge you $1,500+. Criminals.
Lol never take it to a BMW dealer. Literally thieves
They tried to charge me 700$ to fix my drivers door lock actuator but were successful charging me 154$ for a visual diag to tell that my door doesn’t open or lock
Evan, don't forget that you can always look at the other light to see what should be plug in to what. Use a mirror to look behind the good one if you can't see without taking it out.
When you can do these things yourself and not have to waste money taking it to the shop must feel like a big accomplishment, good job!

Hey bro i have a 06 3 series and in a way im having the same issue with my passenger side headlight. When I bought the car, i had the second warning light with the arrow on top. I replace the whole headlight new and now the hid ball light turns on when it feels like it. But the halo stays on

What does the error say on the idrive screen? Check control messages on the info menu on idrive.

How many motors do the adaptive head lights use, one or two ; or is it the same motor that self levels and swings the head light from left to right?
Congratulations! You replaced a burned out bulb. Not really helpful for my adaptive headlight issue, but at least I know how to take my headlight out.

do you know if you do replace the module does it have to be coded to work with the car or are they plug an play? I am getting the CC-ID 295 - Adaptive Cornering Lights Failure error. To me that sounds like it could just be a corning light bulb but I am sure it could not be that simple. Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated

I have a problem.with mine though...when does the other high beam cones on...my zenon comes on but the other flashing beam doesn't...it displays the blue icon on the dash that it's on but it doesn't come on..what could have been the cause

Would the adaptive head light make only one headlight work?
I have a question...can anyone help me. I replace the head light and angel eye light bulbs on my 2008 328i. The head light I replace it with "" D1R 8000K Xenon HID Replacement Bulb Ice Blue Metal Stents Base 12V Car Headlight Lamps Head Lights 35W " and for the angel eye ""E90 Angel Eyes Headlights,2x20W 6000K White CREE Halo Ring LED Marker"" everything works but the warning light still comes on every time I start my car. Can you help me or anyone? Please and thank you.

e60 535i adaptive headlights not moving. No error codes or blinking green LED on switch. Just purchased OEM new from FPC Euro. Any suggestions on what the issue could be. The headlights aim downwards by default and cant see much on freeway at night. Please help! (this is my 2nd set of new ones)
Same issue here, just installed new from FCP Euro on my 2008 e92 and they are just pointed down and not moving. Blinking green light and adaptive error on dash
I don't understand WHY you didn't show how to remove the headlight, (which I could find a vid of elsewhere) but why didn't you show how the little motor is removed OR even how to remove the little back part of the headlight

You should change the headlights for angle lights
i have adaptive headlights but it seems that there is an error coz while i"m driving my lights jumps up and down and sometimes it drops down so i can"t see far what i should do
It may be the exact part shown in this video. The little ball at the end of this part snaps into the headlight portion that can move. The ball can pop out and lose that tight physical connection to it and cause your headlight to bounce. Pull the back cover of your headlight off and reach in front where the stick goes and pull the headlight part back onto the ball. You can't really see it but you will hear it snap in. There is a forum post somewhere on this with more detail so search Google for it.

Dbn Poldermans For US Specs, we have to have them on there, as well as the light on when the switch turned on
You get that message when u have a cracked headlight as well, lights up because of condensation.
True. My car recently got involved in a hit and run and the broke my headlight. It just started raining this week and the warning light turned on, but now my light won’t turn on either lol

Pretty much had to replace 2 of the headlight modules since they burnt out due to the rain.

My adaptive headlights light came on yesterday! never heard of it before. Just got out of repair shop for brakes and other stuff. LuisFX is right, they need a "shrinking wallet warning light". LOL

why is there orange around the headlight? i had the same model but it didnt have it and never seen one like that
Hesham Hanna all US spec e90s had the orange reflectors in the headlights due to US regulation/law,, for the lci and models after they were moved to the bumper which looks better
ah thought so, im from the uk and tbh i dont like the orange reflectors at all
Hesham Hanna yes couldn't agree more as an American it bugs me so much!! it's one of my biggest things I hate about the US regulations is the orange reflector it's messes with the whole look of the car especially when they are in the headlights when they are in the bumpers like on current Porsches and BMWs it's easy to swap to clear or painted so it flows and doesn't draw your eyes to the orange but on current Mercedes models they are all in the headlights( like on old bmws) so it's impossible to take off unless you swap to euro headlights which will cost $$$ I hate it
