That business that is letting you use their bay is awesome. So great to hear that there are truly good shops out there that are willing to help people. Shout out to them! 👍
I met you last year in Sturgis. I’m the guy that watches your channel and was impressed with your ability to fix Goliath while on the road. You are a hell of a mechanic.
I can’t believe pilot is letting you use the shop like that, I’m glad! I was gonna say they run cars at Fonda sat night, right across the river from where you are. If you ride north from there it’s really nice country.
It’s technically not the pilot. It’s the southern tire Mart. They’re just in the pilot parking lot. The crew there is really really nice and extremely helpful. I walked over to the speedway yesterday evening. Unfortunately, the races were canceled because of the weather.
AA and family, so thankful to hear some encouraging news...parts are on the way! Very good of the folks at Pilot, for allowing the use of their facilities. God bless them for that! Prayers for a good weekend, and that the final repairs will go smoothly once the parts arrive. Hang in there!! Love and Hugs from this old, concerned subscriber! ❤😊
Game plan! Game plan is excellent! 💯👍 Prayers that this nightmare ends on Tuesday when the new parts arrive and you assemble the big black monster. Good to see y'all are still in good spirits ❤
About Part Numbers - okay, I have a Honda CB750 from 1979. I needed to find a special o-ring that looked more like a triangle. Its for sealing the Tach Cable Coupler to the Valve Cover. There was a hell of a leak. Finally my last try was 'Chatgpt"- after 5 tries I found the right part number to look up on ebay - done deal -
Thank you for the update. Thought of you folks all weekend. Don’t know how you and your family keep smiling but it certainly says a lot about you folks as wonderful people. Typing this Monday morning….hope you were able to get out and do something for yourselves. Hoping your parts get in and install easily and get on your way to see family. Gods speed and good fortunes.
Thank you, sir, we definitely appreciate those kind words and we appreciate you thinking of us. We just typically don’t let things get us down. We find a path forward and we aim for it.
Man, in your misfortune...you lucked out for being near the shop...parts is parts huh...good to see it all come together. Wishing for a Speedy fix and safe travel...I'm owtriding...
Definitely sucks, but at the end of the day you're safe. Goliath will be fixed and you'll be back on your way. Get the bikes out this weekend and enjoy yourselves.
What a pain in the ass! Of course the temp was in the 70's also, right? One positive note is that you had access to the shop, tools and help when needed! I think next year I'd bypass that bike run.. repair cost were proably more than profit made. Great vlog/Safe travels!
@ 4:23 Bushing looks gone in the Torque Rod on top of the rear end also, thank goodness you had access to a pit, this job would have been a complete nightmare with out it.
Hang in there guys. You're going to be back on the road soon. That is so awesome that the guys at that truck stop are happy to help you guys and totally cool and laid back.
So cool the shop is working with you. We went through Hayesville just yesterday on our way to Maggie Valley. We were thinking of you. Good Luck on the repairs!
Oh man glad you guys had the shop and some help when needed! Thank god Talon is with you what a blessing!! You guys rock so calm and Katie still goofing around lol hope it all comes together perfectly you deserve it !! Stay blessed!!
Glad you made some progress with Goliath, hope all the parts come in and everything goes well Tuesday. I hope the weather cools off some for you and you all are able to enjoy being there for the weekend. That's so nice of the shop to let you use their bay and tools to fix Goliath. Lots of good luck and take care!
KT is such a HOOT!!! LOL We were just saying we couldn't believe they were letting you two use their shop..........Pretty Cool!! and that says a lot for Pilot.
Glad to see your in the shop working on Goliath. Really glad to here that you were able to find replacement parts for the suspension and the the front diff. Glad the mechanics and the shop at the Pilot are there when you need them. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Adam and Katie and Talon and Jessa.
Thanks again, Richard. Although this is a very stressful situation, we have been fortunate enough to meet some great people that have been extremely helpful.
It does suck that you have to make the expensive repairs to the truck. A lot of the money made for the business in Laconia out the door but that is the price of being in business. I am not sure why I am running my mouth here. You surly know what it cost to run a business. I guess one of the lucky parts to this story is the shop that was close and allowing you to make the repairs. That is a blessing. Take care and hope next week will make it all right.
Yeah, unfortunately, it works. That way sometimes we we make money just to throw it back into the equipment to keep going. But in the end, it usually still works out. We are very fortunate that the kindness of the strangers has been extremely beneficial.
Yeah, I can’t help but to think that this is why we didn’t make it to our original destination. Maybe karma, or the universe knew that this place was what we needed to get through it.
Enjoy your Weekend Off and Relax, You Definitely Deserve a Break, and Hopefully Goliath can be Up and Running by Wednesday, I know all Too Well about working on the Ground myself, done that Many Times, just keep Katie in the A/C, because if Momma Ain't Happy, Nobody's Going To Be Happy!😂😂😂
Glad you are making progress, Yes, across the river is Fonda speedway, great dirt racing every Saturday night. Lots of good riding in that area and you are only a little over an hour from Lake George (where Americade is held). Make the best of it. Be safe
Jeez... greasing shafts, beating off parts... lol... omg that poor dog walking on the wet pavement 😮. 😂😂😂😂😂. Glad your getting Goliath going ! I know owning a vehicle where a lot of parts are discontinued has to be a "anxiety" moment when something breaks, hoping u can find it.
Man those people that own that garage are ROCK STARS and I’ll be surprised if they charge you anything for using there garage, who don’t like dirt track racing. Great to se you keeping your spirits up!
I just heard that the racing for tonight has been canceled because of the weather so that’s a little little disappointing but yes, very thankful for the guys in the shop being so supportive
For as much bad luck as you’ve been having at least you have a few things going in your favor. When I was younger things like this would get me so aggravated. As I get older, I deal with things a lot like you are. Good luck hope the rest of the repairs go without issue.
I'm glad Y'all was able to use the shop and tools. Much respect for Y'all mechanic skills. I hope the parts come in and you get Goliath fixed and moving. Be safe, Adam. ✌🏾
Glad you are making progress forward. It absolutely awesome to hear the guys in the shop (what is the name of there shop and what town are you guys in) are being so helpful. Would really enjoy seeing you guys out for a ride or watching some dirt track racing!!!
We are at the pilot truckstop in Fultonville, New York, right across the river from Fonda, New York. The service shop in the back is called Southern tire Mart.
Camerata? For the rear? Sorry buddy thats tuff nut on the road. I have used Camerata for all my drivetrain part and rears for 40 years. Not cheap but been the best!
Glad your getting Goliath back on the road better then ever and best thing is you can pretty much fix anything thats a huge savings couldnt imagine what someone would charge you for labor. PS that shop is awesome for letting you use the garage
Sorry to say racing for tonight has been canceled at Fonda Speedway due to the rain today, I hope the weather improves so you guys can do some riding this weekend.
I've been following along im a subscriber I live right in town and know the weather is shit. If you guys need to stock up on food or anything a ride to to the store is no problem. There is a Walmart not far away.
Hope all goes as planed for the parts and the fix. I am about 2 hours away from Amsterdam and if there is something I can assist with, please let me know. I am online a bunch during the day so you can send a message here and I should see it. (Ps. I am not a mechanic but I can fetch parts etc really well :) )
Look.. I know all this drama could have been avoided..if ya had just stayed in North Carolina and worked on the ironhead project none of this would have happened.. just sayin
That business that is letting you use their bay is awesome. So great to hear that there are truly good shops out there that are willing to help people. Shout out to them! 👍
Yes, we are very thankful that they are so kind and willing to be supportive of us at this time.
I met you last year in Sturgis. I’m the guy that watches your channel and was impressed with your ability to fix Goliath while on the road. You are a hell of a mechanic.
Thank you, sir. Hopefully we will get this fix in time to see you again in Sturgis.
It's inspiring to see how you guys handle your own break down. Being handy is a awesome talent to have.
Well, my theory is, there’s only one way through it and that’s forward
I can’t believe pilot is letting you use the shop like that, I’m glad! I was gonna say they run cars at Fonda sat night, right across the river from where you are. If you ride north from there it’s really nice country.

Tuesday has come and gone and still waiting on parts
@@amsoiladam damnit! Keep the head and spirits up.

Sucks your broke down, but at least you had Talon with you and you were able to find parts. Very cool of shop to let you use their shop and tools.
Yes, we’ve been very fortunate in this unfortunate situation
Man, in your misfortune...you lucked out for being near the shop...parts is parts huh...good to see it all come together. Wishing for a Speedy fix and safe travel...I'm owtriding...
Thanks 👍 so far we have been very fortunate
Definitely sucks, but at the end of the day you're safe. Goliath will be fixed and you'll be back on your way. Get the bikes out this weekend and enjoy yourselves.
Yeah, that’s the plan. Unfortunately it’s 3:00 PM as I write this in the weather just finally cleared up here.

Yes, we are very fortunate to have had the support here we needed.
Keep that rig going!!! Heavy duty truck work is so different from passenger vehicles
Yes, very different. And also very different from working on motorcycles.
Hey Adam and Family Crew 👍❤️💪🏻✌️☮️
@ 4:23 Bushing looks gone in the Torque Rod on top of the rear end also, thank goodness you had access to a pit, this job would have been a complete nightmare with out it.
Yes, I noticed that as well. We’re gonna see if we can find a new one while we’re in there.
@@amsoiladam Good Luck to you, and enjoy your weekend!! Love the content!!!
good thing you got a big man like Talon with you
Yes, I really appreciate him being here
Good luck Adam and Talon. With your combined mechanical ability and a little luck with shipping you will succeed. I'm praying for you 😊
Fingers crossed!

KT is such a HOOT!!! LOL We were just saying we couldn't believe they were letting you two use their shop..........Pretty Cool!! and that says a lot for Pilot.
Yes, it is amazing how kind and helpful the crew here has been
Sorry for your bad luck but at least the parts are available and on the way!
Yes, that is very relieving. Just hoping that we have ordered the correct parts. Sometimes you won’t know until you can compare them side-by-side.
I’m glad things are working out well. Still praying that things work out well.💪
