It’s derived from the Persian word “Birian” which means “fried before cooking”. So the most logical answer is “Biryani” is the correct one. “Briyani”however is used more in Singapore and Malaysia.
couldnt help but notice the rice flying out 4:15 🤣🤣 when nigel said maha means great i had the same thought as Ben asking myself taj mahal their reaction damn funny
Your should had tried more Indian food in Gokul Raas. I just went recently, had paneer makhani, roti jalil, soup kambing, all were quite good. Also tried their laksa goreng, it's quite good with adjustable spicy level.
Agree the butter chicken there is awesome! If want to explore nice northern Indian food, khansama is really good. For biryani, I personally like bismillah Briyani
I don't know why, but this show somehow got magic leh. Today I watched you guys recommend indian cuisine, my brain auto keep thinking about going to Indian cuisine later... Like that how diet leh...😂
1:18 Rusiyana sapadu means tasty food. Sapadu means food. And its not rosiyana its ruusiyaana. ooooo! the owner of gokul (indian-tamil) taught us “ rusiyana sapadu “ tho, we asked her a few times to guide us on this for pronouncing!! but thanks for sharing! we are not expert on pronouncing but at least we tried our best for our audience! hope you guys appreciate it. :)
finallyyyyyyyyyyyyy, thank you for featuring a full on episode on indian food, can feature more south dishes since most indians in SG and Malaysia are south indians. Not saying cant feature other regions but just saying according to the majority thats all...
Looks great guys and thank you for introducing the last place, I didn't really know about it. Just ensure you utilise the right Indian language for the cuisine presented. Example: The second place you ate at is Punjabi cuisine, so a Punjabi phrase would work really well in that instance instead of a Tamil one. Good attempt though.
omg y'all need to try vegetarian chicken rice located at Fajar shopping centre, called Tanaka Vegetarian food. They only sell chicken rice on tues, thurs and sat. It's very good!!
I'm starting to doubt the credibility of Ryan's words, so many dishes he "comes down EVERY week" or "eat at least once a week". Sounded like he has 10 meals a day.. lol

just realised T1 Oner is out here reviewing food instead of playing worlds
Err butter chicken the base is always tomato paste. So that's an expected taste profile.
Sorry we don’t eat butter chicken enough to know, but thanks for letting us know!
It is fun watching you guys review food. Best ever. 🎉

I am going to try the butter chicken tomorrow!
YES go try!!
Birria tacos does taste like less intense murtabak at times
How is rendang authentically indian? 😵💫
Rusiyana Sapudu means delicious food. Just the word sapudu means eat not tasty 😅
Oh dear, probably need to research more next time!
Is this Gokul Raas the same as Gokul at Fortune Centre?
I'm kind of sad that my top 3 vegetarian restaurants all closed down 🥺🥺🥺
Not sure about this! Didn’t even know there’s another one at Fortune Centre haha
Sappadu means eat in tamil

Indian style Taco
Looks like gokul raas restaurant is catered for Ang Mos and not authentic.
Rendang is not Indian tho.
It’s an Indian fusion taco concept. We just trying out different flavours they have. (:
@@overkillsingaporedosa is Indian (the taco shell)😊
its fusion la, usage of thosai as the shell which is indian and the flavours come from different cultures
Nigel said "the indian flavours of rendang". Rendang not indian cuisine.
And sapadu does not mean 'tasty'.
Is it me, or does Ryan look like Mr Kiasu? 😅
It has been said before for many years haha
Maybe can do an all girls Getfed.
Who do u want on the show?
