    Thank you very much for this review. It was seriously helpful.
    Spacing was a big concern for me as well. Seeing how nice it collapses and can be stored was a big help.

    Great job bro. I have two sleds by rogue. The flat drag only plain plate and the slice

    Great video. I'm considering the sled right now and wanted to see it off the official site. Only thing I'm curious about still after this video is the quality of the plastic add-on for the bottom and how they "bolt" on. Thanks for this video!

      I didn’t purchase my sled with the plastic pads but they hold on by recessed screws so the screws won’t scratch the surface floor
      I always recommend that people purchase the sled with the pads in case you need them or like them,
      they are not much more money since you are already buying the sled.

    Great review thank you.Can you give an update as to whether you have encountered any issues with the nose diving either on grass or on asphalt please?

    • @PREPANDDEFEND
      @PREPANDDEFEND  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, a bit if pushing on a hard surface that is rough with a lot of friction, but only if you place your hands high up on the push bars. If that happens, i just adjust my grip to lower down on bars and then it's fine. And I've not pushed on grass, I will typically drag on grass, and it has never dug in while dragging/pulling on any surface.

    Hey brotha - I’m trying to decide between this sled and the S-25 Fatboy. I’ll be using it primarily on a grass field (soccer field, shirt grass)
    What do you think would be best?

    Where can i get a 50 ft long 2'' thick rope for pulling?

  • @dannyherrera7619
    @dannyherrera7619 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thinking about this one for my garage gym. Love the versatility in that you can pull it backward and push it forward. Any idea what belt would be good to attach to sled to pull walking backward?

    • @PREPANDDEFEND
      @PREPANDDEFEND  ปีที่แล้ว

      I like your idea of pulling with a belt. I use a weight belt that has a carabiner. Im sure any wide belt with a clip or webbing attached would work fine.

    Great review, thank you! I've been watching a few other vids on this specific sled, the vertical bars seem great for pushing on cement and I think you mentioned they work for pulling too. Can I confirm that? I plan to push and pull this sled, sometimes with straps and sometimes just by hand with the bars. Some reviews on the rogue site also report this sled gets stuck a lot when pushing on softer surfaces like grass, any truth to those claims in your experience? Thank you!

    • @PREPANDDEFEND
      @PREPANDDEFEND  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the bars work well for pushing, for pulling, you will need to use the strap that come with it

    • @PREPANDDEFEND
      @PREPANDDEFEND  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And because the sled is so much shorter and compact that others, it can get stuck or dog in if your hands are placed too high on the bars while pushing with the bars. I’ve never had an issue on any surface when using the pull strap.

    I was thinking in getting this for indoor but I have wood floor. I wonder if you can put those Adhesive Carpet Tile in the bottom to sled on wood flooring. Has anyone tried this?

    Thank you for the review. Do you think adding those plastic feet is necessary for the asphalt of the sled is robust enough to go without that plastic layer and save $?
    Thanks

    • @PREPANDDEFEND
      @PREPANDDEFEND  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Plastic feet aren’t needed for asphalt, I still have no plastic pads on the sled I use.

    Have you used it on grass? If so, how does it work?

    • @PREPANDDEFEND
      @PREPANDDEFEND  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, It works great on grass without tearing up the grass. If you added the plastic plates (which I don’t have) on bottom it may tear up grass a bit if the edges are not rounded.

  • @trainwithbyron6341
    @trainwithbyron6341 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you recommend getting the plastic on the bottom?

    • @PREPANDDEFEND
      @PREPANDDEFEND  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If any type of sensitive floor or or if you want to run silent....yes but on hard surfaces you’ll need to add more weight.
      I use on concrete and grass with no issues.

      I’ve not had that sled, but it looks like it would work great.
      I was looking for something a kitty smaller. If I had a bit more space I would heave got the dog sled.

    • @PREPANDDEFEND
      @PREPANDDEFEND  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not too bad
      My neighbors have never made a man issue. You can get the optional plastic guards, which make it a bit more silent.
      It’s not too loud, not any more of a nuisance than the “banging weights” that already goes on.

  • @DavidRJones82

    What's the deal with the optional plastic?

    • @PREPANDDEFEND
      @PREPANDDEFEND  ปีที่แล้ว

      Optional plastic can be placed on bottom to keep from scraping the metal on rough surfaces

    Is it true that that sled digs in the front when pushing on grass? I can see that happening because of the design

    • @PREPANDDEFEND
      @PREPANDDEFEND  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That may be.... I have only pushed on hard surfaces.
      When I’ve been using on grass, I have been dragging or pulling with a rope or straps, so, ... I’ve not ran into that problem.
      I’ll test it out and post the results.
      Thanks for the feedback and questions.

      Negative, I’ve had no issue with the front tilting on hard surfaces or grass.
