Angela Lansbury’s clip was not even a minute here but my eyes welled up and it sends shivers to my spine hearing those iconic lines. You can really feel like she’s telling you a story she witnessed firsthand and treasures.

Watched an interview of Dame Julie Andrews and she can't even talk about the surgery and what happened because to this day it upsets her 😥 they took her voice away such a loss, love her ❤

I think they were trying to make the ribbons look like the northern lights. Colors of the Wind was big in North America. It touched a lot of kids here. It's such a beautiful song in the movie with all the animal sounds. Who doesn't like hearing a wolf howl?!
I had an acquaintance get taken for being half native and another full native. It's still a big problem because white people are brainwashed to believe it only happened before their homeland and all was stolen and destroyed. IT STILL HAPPENS EVERYDAY! It's still a big problem too!
Loved watching this .. I grew up on Disney .. and strangely enough as a guy have always managed to sing the female songs much easier than the male ones lol .. the Angela Lansbury clip made me shed a tear when I watched the full performance .. Julie Andrews is just perfect, so sad her singing voice is now gone .. your comparisons are great 👍🏼

I know you despise david phelps' long notes but his version of 'We are the reason' live doesn't have many boring long notes but still shows his talent! Feliz navidad was pretty average imo as well... We are the reason is a great performance!
eltons voice has actually changed from when he was young it has gotten so much deeper since he had a failed surgery and also lots of drugs when he was younger his voice was so beautiful kind of like what happened to julie andrews at the start of his carrer his voice was perfect in my opinion

Yes, Lea Salonga, can never do any wrong, in my eyes. She owns her field.
I feel so bad for Julie Andrews now. In the late 90s she had to have vocal surgery but I believe something went wrong (she took legal action because of it) and she sadly lost a lot of her vocal range. Makes me so sad that such an incredible singer had to basically retire from singing because of a mistake :(

I think the difference between these ladies singers shows you the difference between who has sung regularly through the years and who hasn't. You need to exercise your muscles for them to be strong, or else they get rusty.

I think tay and brit could do a decent job actually. brit needs her confidence back and to use her natural voice and tay has been improving and although she has a more unique tone it is still very feminine

They were, but Britney? She was in the Mickey Mouse club as a kid with Justin timberlake and another from nsync and Ryan Gosling and stuff but that's got nothing to do with anything, she was always greater than what they forced her to sound like.

I love Elton John’s songs but I feel like he doesn’t enunciate clearly. I can’t understand the words in a lot of his songs, especially Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Benny and the Jets.

Disney's Pocahontas never set well with me at all. The story is wrong, them making her a princess despite how the actual story is, is wrong, white actress voicing her wrong. Disney should've left that alone.
Well it is because of the time it was recorded and i think the lady sang it well, tho it would sound prettier with a black singer, but that is preference. they weren't trying to make it a documentary so i think it is ok.......all of the disney movies are changed as they are made for children but i think it would be great to remake pocahontas with black singers and with the true story
I think it's safe to say that that's one live-action remake they're not touching with a ten-foot pole.
A white singer voiced her music. Irene Bedard, a Native American actress, provided the speaking voice for Pocahontas. The story....well, that's just a big old mess.
