    Looking for a front rim for this bike . 2017 Gx750A Street Rod. Gf and I were in accident earlier in June of this year hitting a dog on a back road. Front rim is bent at hub

    Where did you get the fender eliminator at?

      I picked it up from Tuffside I believe. I think I paid about 60 bucks for it.

    Where did you get the low reach seat? I’m 5’6 and i just got mine. Thanks

    • @trogoloff
      @trogoloff  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bought mine direct from Harley. At the time, there weren't any seats available aftermarket. It really made a difference.

    Did you get much popping on deceleration? What did you change on the V&H exhaust? Thanks for the vid

    • @trogoloff
      @trogoloff  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I ran the comp s exhaust with the fuelpak. When I put the screaming eagle intake on it, I got a ton of decel pop. After communicating with v&h, they wrote me a map that was substantially better. At the time they didn't have a map for the open intake and the comp s for that bike.

    • @lfs95s92
      @lfs95s92 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@trogoloff Cheers for the info, will look into the map. You took out the baffle (single bolt inside the exhaust) to leave it hollow or the fibreglass wrap as well?

    • @trogoloff
      @trogoloff  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lfs95s92 I ran it without the baffle. It had a much better sound that way, though it was much louder, haha.

    So what did you end up getting Chris?

    • @trogoloff
      @trogoloff  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought a 2009 1200 Low. After the Stage 1 build it's a great bike. I'm a Honda guy at heart, but I've had a lot of fun on both the Street Rod and the 1200. In fact, the 1200 is the bike I ride the most now.

    • @jksmuga1
      @jksmuga1 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@trogoloff Awesome I'm making a switch from naked bake and would like a sportster 1200 just weighting if I will be happy with a switch I need a long distance bike I ride 796 monster and is super not comfortable over 100 miles

    • @trogoloff
      @trogoloff  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jksmuga1 Well, a Sportster definitely won't be as fast, haha! I've been really happy with the Sportster. For a mid-size cruiser you could also check out the Shadow 1100. Very similar to the Sportster, but shaft drive, and a great cruising bike. Whatever you get, let me know!

  • @Its_That_Guy_Chris

    How did you fix the foot placement on the right side? Did the exhaust heatshield/ plate come with the exhaust or did you fab that part? It's a awesome looking bike. I hope you traded it in for what you where looking for man. 👍✌

    • @trogoloff
      @trogoloff  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Actually, the exhaust came with a minimal heat shield, and I was going to mount the stock heel pad on it, but I never had trouble with hitting the aftermarket heat shield with my heel.

      @@trogoloff Did the reach rider seat make a bigger difference to comfort with legs and hip position as opposed to something like bar risers?

    • @trogoloff
      @trogoloff  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jean-pierrebruwer664 It did make a difference. I had 1" risers and the reach seat and it made it more comfortable for longer rides, but still had that sport bike feel if you wanted to crouch and rip it. I'm 5'9 and found it easier to flat foot at rest as well.

    • @jean-pierrebruwer664

      You got me, haha. Most of my buddies ride adventure bikes now, but I don't like to side straddle every time I stop.

      @@trogoloff The tallest I can go is a Fireblade 900 or my old Honda X11, other than that it gets a bit dicey stopping at lights :). Adventure bikes, forget that the adventure would be me trying to throw my little legs over one.

      @HarleyFirestorm 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@trogoloff What bike do you have now, in the past I had a VROD street rod, the tallest VROD you could get, well until a car pulled out on me. Trust me at 5 foot 9 your about the right height for riding any bike.

      @trogoloff  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HarleyFirestorm I actually just sold the last bike I had in my driveway last year, a 1200 Custom. If the money's there this winter I'll be shopping again. I'm tempted to test out the adventure bike world, but will likely stick with Harley. I want to sit on the Pan America and see how it feels.

    • @HarleyFirestorm
      @HarleyFirestorm 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@trogoloff I have had a couple of 1200 Custom sportsters I like Sportster but always seem to have problems with them.
      The Pan America is supposed to be an excellent bike, a bit tall for myself, but if your over 5 foot 6 it should be an easy fit, the seat drops on it when you come to a stop apparently.
