Thanks for your review Bro, I have a street 750 that I kind of stumbled upon, but I love it. I like to see how you set your up for travel. Definitely want to take more trips on mine.
I have this bike and really love the tuffside rear fender eliminator kit and it makes the bike look awesome. Your video was great tuffside now makes a super tall boy seat and now I can ride all day with no hip pain or discomfort.
How are those saddlebags attached? When looking through official Harley-Davidson parts catalog, I can see that for the regular Street models, Harley offers throw-over saddlebags, however on the Street Rod, the supports that are necessary to hold the bags in place cannot be installed. The lack of luggage options is one of my largest gripes with the Street Rod.
what is the saddlebag shown in this video? Can they be attached without the rear guard? Could someone please share the name of the saddlebags in this video? thanks.
Hello Sir, I see from your comment below that you have sold this motorcycle and I am happy for you that you have recovered from your hip injury. I have a quick question regarding the handlebar and the headlight assembly, if I may ask. Is it possible to mod this motorcycle with one similar to the XR1200's stock handlebar and headlight assembly. Do you suggest the XR's handlebar would give a better upright riding position instead of leaning forward with this stock drag handlebars. I am 5.6" and I would like to buy this motorcycle. Please let me know what you think
Nice review, got a question about stock foot pegs. How are they positioned? Comfortable enough for a bit longer ride and everyday use? Is it more a position like modern naked or like iron 883 and roadster? I had those two on test ride and they seemed to me like they would be too much to deal with on everyday basis or longer ride, this seems a lot more tame compared to those two.
It was very poor for long trips and rides. I made do with the custom seat and the highway pegs made it bearable. I went to an XR1200 for a short time after this machine but now I'm on a 2018 Triumph Bonneville T120. Much better suited for my style of riding and touring. The XG750A is a good short ride bike... I definitely pushed it beyond it's design capabilities. I would not recommend this bike for BIG rides.
Jedz Moto Thanks for such swift reply. I currently own bmw f700gs and i cant even empty fuel tank before i have to rest because seat is awful and it starts getting uncomfortable, borderline painful. About an hour, hour and half into ride and i have to get of to rest for few minutes. Did once 2+ hours of non stop riding and i wouldnt do it again, at least not on that seat. So if i could pull of similar ride time on street rod before i had to take a short rest that would be acceptable comfort wise. I dont do more than about 300km in a day (about 186 miles) so i wouldnt call that big ride. Since im only 173cm (5.6 feet i think) i guess rod wont fell small or cranped to me.
sekeli69 here is a link to my buyers summary. All in all it was a good bike but it wasn't my cup of tea. Smaller jaunts like that should be acceptable. Your 4" shorter than me so it might work better for you. It's quite a quick bike for a 750 twin. Hope you found my materials informative! th-cam.com/video/AnULqM1jLvE/w-d-xo.html
Hi is there an option to replace the drag bars ?? I really do not like it for long rides, also the foot pegs i.e the gear peddle and the brake peddle is to cramped. I like the HD street 750 placement can i do it on the street rod??
Hey razor! I installed bar risers and it shifted the weight I had on the bike. I believe they are 7/8" bars so anything from the JDM should fit. I'd recommend trying risers first though! Best!
Hey Jedz , i see you add the Engine guard and also on this video de Footpeg... Looks really nice .I need to know wich model exactly is this to found and buy for my street rod. Im so tall and for highway i think like you is really better. Is an original ? can you tell me where i can find it . Thanks for your time !!!
I have a question I'm gonna buy this bike soon and I'm wondering do you feel comfortable while you ride it for long time cuz I'm planning to travel to other countries by it
Hi Hulk! I honestly ended up moving to a Triumph Bonneville T120 for it serves me better as a touring motorcycle. The Street-Rod is a great bike and I truly love the power-plant but I cannot endorse it as a good Sport-touring motorcycle. I ended up injuring my hip after this trip and it was causing premature arthritis. I have recovered after selling the bike and going through PT. Best,
What type of rails did you put on the front as I haven’t seen anything for one so far and I got mine just a few weeks ago? Would be nice to stretch my legs out.
it Doesn't... Most small bikes from Harley don't. I traded the Street Rod in for a XR1200 and it doesn't have a gas gauge either... It does have a fuel light and you only have 30 miles... MAX before your dry. It was an issue a couple of times. The Range was pretty bad.

Great review, I live in Murphy, NC, get to ride the beauty of this nature everyday, my bike exactly like yours. Keep the rubber down brother!

At this point in the journey, bungees. The clips all broke on me.
Any new solutions to this?
What bike is the windshield meant for? Looks great. I got a windshield for my Street Rod, but sent it back because it looked bad.

Can you put a passenger back rest or sissy bar on that thing? I can't find one anywhere? ?

Have you had any luck?
Good day, I was triying to get the windshield, but I cant, could you pass me the model a size, and where can get tthe windshield?

Hi. Does your bike have EITMS? Coz you mentioned about the heat.
No it's completely water-cooled... So no need to cut out a cylinder when all the heat is released through the front mount radiator. Best, -Jedz

Revzillia www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/nelson-rigg-sport-40-saddle-bags
They are pretty nice bags for the price. Not water proof but line them with contractor bags and your good to go!
Is this guy Tom Hanks in disguise? lol Sounds just like him.
What mileage do you get on it? Google says that it gets around 55, which is the main reason I'm considering this one over the iron 883.
Definitely not 55mpg... 45mpg is my average.I have seen a few tanks at 50mpg... But I was milking it.
Jedz 123 well obviously lol. Thanks for the video!
Does it have fuel gauge?
