Congratulations! I liked it enough to buy one when I saw it on sale. It isn't perfect and there are better options for similar money but it is a Harley Davidson and I get a belt drive that doesn't require maintenance like a chain drive does. I like the way it looks and it is comfortable for me at 5'9". Good quick review.
Nice bike. Like the fact that the exhaust is tame so you can fit the volume you want. All the Harleys around me too loud. I rented one in S Africa, great for an hour then too loud for the rest of the day. I must be getting old 😂
Great to see this especially since I bought it from new just about fell of the chair when I saw the reg. My big mistake was selling it and now looking to buy another having had a few other makes since I sold it. Enjoy it still looks fastastic👍😊
The engine is the same, it has internal modifications for more power, I have one myself as well as sport glide. Great little bike, not as powerful as the other in it class, but if you want a v twin then the Harleys the one to get. The down sides to this bike is trying to get it into neutral sometimes, the foot on the exhaust feels odd and takes a bit of getting used to, the heat from the engine is quite bad even for a Harley, the suspension can get a bit twitchy at higher speeds (I had this with mine and also a test bike I rode, so I know its not just mine).
Nice review. I'm also in the UK and was looking at this bike. So is the street rod 750 a 70 bhp bike, and the street rod 750, a 54(ish) bhp bike? I'm getting a little confused as I think some auto trader ads have entered the wrong horsepower figures. I saw a Street rod 750 listed as 54 hp..
Yeah the street rod (xg750a) is the more powerful than the street (xg750). They are actually completely different bikes from the size of the wheels, the suspension and cams in the engine. I really like the bike, I’ve never met another owner or seen one in the “wild” I don’t have any issue with comfort and love the handling. It’s not the quickest but if you appreciate it for what it is- you’ll love it. As I do. Did I buy it because it was a Harley- no I didn’t. I genuinely like the look and feel of it. If you want something different to the rest, with enough power and good handling and service it yourself- id go for it. Dealer prices are considerably higher than the Japanese equivalent.
@@kfkwAL7 thanks for the reply. Yeah I've never seen one in the UK. But I also really like the look of them, they seem pretty good value for money all things considered. I'm 6ft2, but I'm looking at my next bike after my 125 cc (direct access very soon). Being sensible I think 70 hp is probably too much for my next bike. Is the standard street any good, or just a bit rubbish? Thanks
@@kfkwAL7 Just watched the 2 exhaust vids. The rema was my preference. Still not lumpy enough. What's the point of a Harley if you can't wake the neighbours up in the morning 😄
If u dudes have done what I've done for the last 35 yrs, playing in blues rock bands mostly in boozers that had fairly small stages where you have to stand with ur lug holes within a few feet distance from the drummers bass snare & cymbals for 4 hours two, three, four or five nights every week of the year you'de probably also be like myself that cant stand anything that sounds irritatingly loud & noisy.... I may well go for the Vance & Hines competition slip on muffler for my own SR XG750A just for the extra HP that its supposed to add to the bikes performance but will most likely fit a DB reducer to quiet it down.
Congratulations!

I have the same bike and did 2200 miles already on it! It's a great bike!
I’ve since sold it, but miss the noise!
As 6' the peg hits my shin a bit at stops which is annoying but the seat is comfortable and the weight ballance is good
Nice mate...hope you enjoy...looking forward to the next video

Sad to say its discontinued :(
Buen video, gracias
Looking for this exact front rim if you have one for sale. Located in the states in Ohio. Will pay for international shipping and all. 🤘🏼
I’m afraid not, that’s one of the issues with the bike, lack of parts available

Hi there what’s the different between xga and xgs on 750
❤️ from 🇮🇳
How is the comfort of the shock absorber for using on the roads a little in the city and a little out of the city?
Really good. There’s adjustable preload at the rear
Is any good at highway speeds,110 kilometers per hour plus,go with flow sort ò speak?
Yeah it’s fine. Not amazing but will keep up all day long.
Is there any difference between this and the 2016 model and would you say lack of fuel gauge makes it harder
No as long as it’s the street rod not the street!
How tall are you buddy ?
I’m 6 foot, which I never thought was tall until I started watching videos on this bike and most seemed 5’9 and under.
@@kfkwAL7 Im really into buy One , Im 6 foot aswell do you fell unconfurtable?
@@pachd1703 not at all. It’s no long distance cruiser in the standard setup but no aches or pains. I’m used to riding sports bikes
😹😺
Sounds awful!
Have a look at my other videos showing exhaust upgrades.
