Huh, I find the idea of running the two ST-15 MetalGreymon intriguing. But, and maybe this is just me, I almost feel if you're going to be taking two or the piercing inheritable MetalGreymon out, I might want to try and find room for another of the new WarGreymon since it can get the piercing and go for 5+ checks depending on the tamers. I'll have to test it out.
you can either lean into the control way to play which, then yes you can run DeathX, or you can lean into OTK, then you want to run Blitz Omni. The OTK is way more piece reliant and will feel like you are bricked more often, while the Control Variant will Run Blackwar and Omnimon Merciful Mode to handle the current meta decks, but may feel like you struggle to close out the game some times. Currently as a Wargreymon player for a long time now I favor Control over OTK, but Control will lose to OTK if they see there combo. OTK kind of just feels like it loses to Fenri, Bloom, and many other super fast meta decks right now because you do not have the turn or two that is needed to search for your pieces.
DeathX is a good card that any deck can run, but the question is, should it be run and generally in greymon decks, the answer is no. Omnimon is a searchable card where deathx is not. Omnimon has multiple iterations that have some level of combo play and direct synergy with the deck to help disrupt them or flat-out win. Deathx isn't doing anything for greymon as a result, and there are better cards to run to fit in its gameplan. Even in a more control focused build, Death X isn't needed.
@@Xanitsu All right. Speaking of ignorance, I guess you don't play this current meta. There are flood decks everywhere, which means playing a lvl 7 searchable or not, and is a free and easy board clear, with a 15k digimon to check security makes sense. We have the likes of Fenri 4+ bodies and tamers, commandramon 5+ bodies, bloomlord 5+ bodies, vaccine 4+ tamers and bodies, and rookie rush running around. Once when the count of cards your opponent plays consistently hits 4+ bodies whether it is part of your strat or not, deathx becomes something to consider for any deck.
@ZeroKOR1 decks need to play to their strategy first and foremost. You need to make sure your deck can do what it needs to in order to win. If the deck doesn't have space, they don't play generic cards no matter how good they are, and unfortunately, greymon doesn't have the space. This is also why not every deck runs floodgates because it isn't helping your deck it is there to harm the opponents. Digimon rewards being more proactive than reactive.
Fantastic! I opted out of cool boy for 4 training for now. Even though he is an amazing 2 cost tamer
I know a lot of people do or did that. There are no real wrong answers with the deck because of how many good cards it has.

Is deathxmon good for the deck as a level 7?

@@Xanitsu bad take from a bad player just going to block your channel because you obviously do not know how to play.
How much of this can I find in the new Wargreymon starter deck? I just skimmed so I probably missed you mentioning it.
Only the mono black metalgreymon
The new wargreymon starter has useful cards but is not a deck worth upgrading. the only card wargreymon wants is the level 5 metalgreymon
