2:40 I love that. Sometimes the best ideas just hit you randomly in a conversation or while taking a dump. And they kinda work out. 5:30 that is why I hold some hope for the anime that is currently coming out. Since it is basically a remake they could iron out a lot of flaws. The start looks somewhat promising, with them taking stuff from alter seasons and inserting it at the start to build a foundation to make things feel more earned (I imagine). There are some things the anime is worse in than the og though: music and skipping the first Penny fight? Unforgiveable! 14:35 man Torchwick was such a wasted villain. He actually was quite a good "lieutenant" type character imo. His death was hilarious and I like the irony, I just think it would have been nice if he stuck around a bit longer, constantly betraying both sides and playing them against each other to stay ahead of the game, but then he slips up and his gamble back-fires and Salem (Grim) kill him because she had enough of his shit. Would have been way better.
Not going to lie, if this came out around the season I think it did, Blake was being a pretty garbage person/character. She _could_ have maybe mentioned once _"Hey Mum. Hey Dad. Soooo, Adam's promised to murder you"._ I always meant to catch up, but I haven't seen anything since the reunion. I'm also hesitant to fully sink my moon head-cannon.
The seasons after the reunion are better. I think the writing got to a good point in Atlas (not perfect, there are still issues, but at a solid Good level. So it's enjoyable without being too cringe. That, and the fights FINALLY feel like it's getting closer to where Monty Oum was at). 😁
@@Airier Thanks for the recommendation :) . I'll definitely keep it on my list of shows to get to, ever growing as that is. Also, obligatory "Sargnarg the Hardge Harg". The movies have finally caught up to the episode count ;) .
Regarding Sonic: The fanbase is... diverse. EDIT: And I clearly remember the supplemental material for Sonic 2 saying that he had turned 16. Of course, they also said at the time that Tails was around 4 or 5.
PoW Sonic is from Forces and Bandana Sonic is Boom. Also wow, I hadn't even thought of him being an end-game reward for the racing games. Save for the one where the cars can turn to jets, I can really see that work and now I want that!
Fun Fact: Sonic can't swim because the creator was told that hedgehogs can't swim, however they actually can! Second Fun Fact: Amy was originally a kid but used a magical artifact to become a teenager so she could date Sonic, however she was still mentally 8 years old. PoW Sonic refers to Sonic Forces, the game where Eggman captures Sonic, takes over the world, and then you get to design a custom OC to go break him out and become his best friend. While Bandana Sonic is the Sonic Boom version which just isn't very good, it doesn't help that the game is a horrible glitch-fest, strangely the cartoon version of Sonic Boom is really good though.
This was a great video, I love your reactions! X3 Though I would like to inform something since a lot of people either forgot or ignore this fact. Shadow existed for 50 years, but technically he isn’t physically or mentally 50 because he was put into stasis. Think of it like how Captain America was frozen in the ice for years but is as the same as when he crashed into that ice in the original movie.
Sonic Unleashed (Werehog sonic) is actually a pretty good game. One of my favourites actually. The concept seems weird at first, but they execute it well enough. While the Sonic Boom (Bandana Sonic) games werent that good apparantly (ive never played them), the cartoon is amazingly good. Really fun to watch and clipable.
I always found all that hate for RWBY a bit "unreasonable". Not really in the sense that there isn't any reason since the show has problems. But it's just how much passionately many people hate it. I watched it all and didn't find it to be something very special but also nothing to be mad at really. If anything the show felt pretty generic. Like a fanfic adventure that does a little bit more. I liked it for the most part, didn't enrich me in any way but didn't make me regret watching it. I'm ready to see if RT are gonna something with it and if not then fine, won't really mind it. I've seen much MUCH worse attempts at writing from supposedly bigger and well-established companies.
I just don’t like it. I just play up my dislike of the show just because it’s funny to me. Also because I had a toxic relationship with a rwby fan. It just soured my view of the show
The show is badat best and boring at worst, but for many people the problem is that the writers are ruining Monty's legacy. That's the reason to why many people hate this show
IMO its not that people actually "HATE" the series but rather how their fanbase has been very toxic to any and all criticism and that CRWBY and RT had cultivated this fanbase in their forums and have allowed this behavior. Sure there are plot holes and ways they could have made the story better, but its their show and they have the final say on what happens to the characters...until it wasn't just their show and they started to cater to the BlakeXYang Ship and made it official.
I do hate the show because it had so much potential that was squandered time after time. The trailers were amazing, volumes 1+2 weren't great but alright, and volume 3's last half was a game changer promising higher quality plot and higher stakes, unfortunately they just don't think anything through nor do they really try to. It's a colossal disappointment, like that Last Airbender movie. I think the thing that really aggravates me is that they make the same mistakes constantly and don't take actual criticism well. (I dropped it vol 5 finale but I do stay updated on plot points in case it gets better, it hasn't so far)
I will never understand the criticism regarding the stolen Dust that never gets brought up again. The Dust was on the train cars in season 2. Train cars that got blown up. The bomb in each car being the trigger to ignite the dust for a larger explosion to create enough force to break the tunnel walls.
honestly you keep being worried about Jello diving into the more... slimy parts or fandoms but most of the time he'll only do a subtle nod to them and not really go into it if he even mentions them
Bandana sonic = Sonic Boom sonic, a spin-off series with two games (that aren't that good), a Tv show, and a small part in the Capcom/Sega crossover comic.

POW Sonic was Sonic Forces, which barely touches on any sort of trauma despite the fact that he's supposed to be "tortured", and Bandana Sonic was Sonic Boom, which outside of the TV series was a heaping dumpster fire.
Honestly the only reason Sonic has been relevant for this long is because of their S tier marketing department. When you think about it Sonic works a lot better as a brand than it does a game.
That is sick to know thanks for sharing that end bit Arier! Didnt know that team did their intro, but now I'm curious did they also do the animated end of fight parts too?
The only thing outright *wrong* about this is that they only spent the first volume stealing dust, after which Cinder said they were done with it. The actual problem is that the writers forgot to tell us that they used most of it to blow up the train cars.
Werhog sonic is Sonic Unleashed. And it's actually pretty good. Some people don't like it, cause it doesn't play like a normal sonic game. In that Form it has fighting and stuff. Usual Sonic Level are still a thing tho.

To answer your question on how the movies turned out good despite the franchises track records: It's easier to make a movie than it is to make a video game or series of video games.

24:33 Game version of Bandana Sonic: Glitchy, I've seen no one call this good, other problems I forgot about, one of them might of been about the story. Show version of bandana Sonic: A lot of meme potential apparently, makes fun of the Sonic franchise, has at least two references to the fandom, also on TH-cam apparently. Comic version of bandana Sonic: I've only seen one person talk about it, apparently good, maybe even better then the show, it is a thing.
Fun stuff about RWBY, not about the budget but how it kinda came to be (at least that is something I heard, not sure if I remember it correctly) There was a party at Rooster Teeth and Monty came kinda drunk to one of the bosses and told him "Red, White, Black, Yellow". The boss looked at him confused: "Yes Monty those are colors". Monty: "No these are girls and they are awesome!" It was then decided that they would talk tomorrow about that, when he is sober again...and that was when Monty presented RWBY to them and they decided to do the show. Again, not sure how true that is but I like it ^_^ Black beeing bland... yah I guess he just want to trigger people. The joke with Yang....Dang that was on point, hilleriouse and at the same time under the belt. Well done Sir, well done. Last Season....I hate and loved how it went with Ironwood. Overall I thought the last two where better. Do I care about if they where good? No to deep into that shit that I care ^_^
I'm actually with you on the last couple seasons. So much is Ironwood making the worng choices for reasons which aren't even wrong, just annoying for making sense.

Considering how long anime production takes, they might have started winding down the main series a while ago when talks of an anime series was in the works.
There is a sonic racing game where they run instead of driving cars. It was bad. The one good Sonic racing game is Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, where they do drive cars. Still a fun game tho.
Listen the werehog was cool and sonic unleashed was a genuinely good game, Ign just came out to say it was shit immediately without even playing it fully and most people just believed them.
They're not starting over. They confirmed that "Ice Queendom" is an AU spinoff in the vein of an Elseworlds series. The main series is still continuing.
I think POW Sonic is Forces, where there's a bit where he gets captured and the game goes "He was held and tortured for months.". Yeah RWBY is...........basically fucked after Monty Died. Anime by Japanese company could be great, but part of it's appeal is the massive over the top 3D fighting and choreography which I don't think Japanese animation studios have quite gotten yet. Not to mention any Plot changes could have some animeisms I feel might not fit in well.
It’s called sonic R and you unlock super sonic and he’s broken as all hell abc the game has its own internal character tiers for opponent selection Most characters run but egg man and Amy drive machines It was also the introduction to tails doll
Sonic Unleashed has loved day stages, it's the first time Sonic returned to a form of speed. The night stages aren't liked simply due to the fact that they're too long.
@@hendeyjagger7489 What part are you referring to as slow. Because Sonic day stages are fast and controllable. It was the introduction of the boost system in 3d Sonic. If you’re referring to Werehog, then yeah it's slower as those sections are beat em ups. The problem was that the night stages were at least 10 minutes long.
Do you think that instead of Pyrrha being killed, it is Jaune that will bite the dust? It makes more sense from a writer's perspective that the person who is a close friend of Ruby is the one to die to unlock her super silver eye powers. Assuming she still has superpowers and they don't grow balls and sense to kill one of RuBY's teammates. Edit: If they make Jaune a potential love interest in the anime "harem" only add to the death flags.
25:57 They turned out ok by completely reinventing everything and having nothing (maybe 5%) to do with any previous incarnations and story. (Where is the Sonic that was turned into a toaster and used as a machine gun by Tails. My Sonic. ;) ) Where as the cartoon/anime just rehashed the 3D games, with filler, except for the space season, which was odd (they aged the unnecessary human to an adult, then de-aged him to a kid and had none of the mobians really believe 20 years had passed for him).

Hey Dad. Soooo, Adam's promised to murder you"._
I always meant to catch up, but I haven't seen anything since the reunion.
You mean "f*ing weird"
@@Scarabswarm It's a matter of perspective, really.
It isn't a glitchfest in the european Version. And the Wii U Version atleast somehow makes fun. Not the 3Ds Version tho.
That second fact only happened in the Archie Comics
In the canon (japanese) vertion Amy was always 12, the archie comics writers got her age wrong
@@jled787 both side is pretty awful. Don't like the show stop watching, like the show keep watching. Pretty simple concept.
The bomb in each car being the trigger to ignite the dust for a larger explosion to create enough force to break the tunnel walls.
honestly you keep being worried about Jello diving into the more... slimy parts or fandoms but most of the time he'll only do a subtle nod to them and not really go into it if he even mentions them
Male sonic characters don't just wear shoes, but also gloves at least I think so.
Sonic Bandana is Sonic Boom
~Save the planet from disaster...~
If there is one thing Sonic games always do best, it's music.
The Sonic comics IDW are putting out are really good too.
Bandana sonic = Sonic Boom sonic, a spin-off series with two games (that aren't that good), a Tv show, and a small part in the Capcom/Sega crossover comic.
blake is bottom tier, her stans are on the most intense copium
And element r34.
Pretty sure the bandana sonic he was referring to was the sonic in sonic boom, you probably already know that by now though.
22:33 Because Sonic is the fastest thing alive and any race would be over before it even had a chance to begin if he just ran on his feet. The devs said so themselves.
Shadow is actually confirmed biologically 15, he was just frozen for 50 years.
Regarding Bland (Blake) being garbage, that can extend to her voice actor now too
What happened?
@@SilverHairedFreak25 Arryn Zech, the voice actor for Blake, attacked the guy who's writing for the new RWBY anime for his situation with his ex-wife that had already been resolved, yet when the VP of Rooster Teeth admitted to sexually harassing a minor, she didn't say a single word about it
The animation studio is Studio Shaft.
😲
Sonic racing game where Sonic is just running? DID THAT! 👍 It's called Sonic R, made in 1997 for the Sega Saturn. POW Sonic was Sonic Forces, which barely touches on any sort of trauma despite the fact that he's supposed to be "tortured", and Bandana Sonic was Sonic Boom, which outside of the TV series was a heaping dumpster fire.
Well, except Sally back in the day. She didn't follow the code.
Yeah she probably the only female who doesn't wear a shirt or pants just boots and a jean vest
Honestly the only reason Sonic has been relevant for this long is because of their S tier marketing department. When you think about it Sonic works a lot better as a brand than it does a game.
Things I realised from this video: shadow is canonicaly a boomer
I didn’t get the “touched a thunder stone” joke until now because i’m now aware of who Sonichu was
"Literally all the guys are walking around as nudists."
May I introduce to you "Sally Acorn"?
That is sick to know thanks for sharing that end bit Arier! Didnt know that team did their intro, but now I'm curious did they also do the animated end of fight parts too?
Not sure. The style looks similar, but I don't know if it's an indicator or not. 😅
The only thing outright *wrong* about this is that they only spent the first volume stealing dust, after which Cinder said they were done with it. The actual problem is that the writers forgot to tell us that they used most of it to blow up the train cars.
Rwby anime is being done by the studio that animated madoka majika
Werhog sonic is Sonic Unleashed. And it's actually pretty good. Some people don't like it, cause it doesn't play like a normal sonic game. In that Form it has fighting and stuff. Usual Sonic Level are still a thing tho.
Jim Carrey as eggman was a golden idea
villains in the eggs eggman, eggman nega from rush, chaos a well known one, mephiles from sonic 06 who managed to temporarly kill sonic,
zavok who i don't know much, hard-boiled heavies the other bosses of sonic mania, erazor djinn who sonic ended up giving him a fate worse than death.
Who wouldn’t take a dump on someone if you can turn into a bird?
I saw the characters from Sonic Underground and immediately the theme song started playing in my head. Make it stop!
"My favorite character is the only one who doesn't talk but I am excited to see how they ruin her."
Roman Holiday: allow me to introduce myself.
Oh God, they made a book? What'd they do to Neo in the book?
@@doctorsnakeeater1997 They gave her Weiss' backstory. Neglectful mother, a-hole dad who is rich and important. They hate that she has different colored eyes and is mute so they send her to an assassin school where she befriends her school bullies and then saves Roman from the mafia.
To answer your question on how the movies turned out good despite the franchises track records: It's easier to make a movie than it is to make a video game or series of video games.
Highly , highly disagree that Neos character was handled “perfectly”. She changed the object of her desire for revenge on a whim based on what a person who she knows can’t be trusted in any way shape or form said. Which makes her look gullible and stupid.
24:08 Bandana Sonic is Boom Sonic which is a version of Sonic from the TV show Sonic Boom. Sonic Boom destroys all cannon and makes all the personalities flat. That is why everyone hates it (for the most part)
I mean, the description of RWBY is pretty spot on. I'm only surprised that Eddy Rivas and CRWBY haven't blitzed the channel with their attack dog fanbase.
ever since he started this mini series, i wanted him to react the rwby one, and now, he is doing it
idk why people think the writers forgot about the stolen dust. They packed the train cars with it to blow the holes. I thought that was obvious.
24:33
Game version of Bandana Sonic:
Glitchy, I've seen no one call this good, other problems I forgot about, one of them might of been about the story.
Show version of bandana Sonic:
A lot of meme potential apparently, makes fun of the Sonic franchise, has at least two references to the fandom, also on TH-cam apparently.
Comic version of bandana Sonic:
I've only seen one person talk about it, apparently good, maybe even better then the show, it is a thing.
Bro shadow was in cryo like stasis for +50 Years
Fun stuff about RWBY, not about the budget but how it kinda came to be (at least that is something I heard, not sure if I remember it correctly)
There was a party at Rooster Teeth and Monty came kinda drunk to one of the bosses and told him "Red, White, Black, Yellow".
The boss looked at him confused: "Yes Monty those are colors". Monty: "No these are girls and they are awesome!"
It was then decided that they would talk tomorrow about that, when he is sober again...and that was when Monty presented RWBY to them and they decided to do the show.
Again, not sure how true that is but I like it ^_^
Black beeing bland... yah I guess he just want to trigger people.
@@Airier I think the reason is his semblance. Forgot the name but its kinda like an "Iron Will" that lets him persue any goal without fail. What can be a good thing but here he had the wrong goal and because of his samblance couldn't take another path.
Kinda like Qrow who has bad luck, what can be good and bad for him.
Ooo i want a sonic racing game where its a mini-game that unlocks skins for the main game. like, you unlock skins for each special achievement in the mini-game. itd be cool i think
14:32
This aged well...
AirierGames pauses and thinks so hard he forgets to laugh at the jokes: the video.
(Alternate title: Jelloapocalypse casually breaks his mind 30 times over)
Honestly Rooster teeth is dragging their shows through the mud, and not just RWBY, Red vs Blue has also been declining. I'm really hoping that the RWBY Anime does well with people that Actually Know what they are doing, I don't even care if it replaces the original I'm just Done with it at this point
Considering how long anime production takes, they might have started winding down the main series a while ago when talks of an anime series was in the works.
Yeah, RVB did begin a downward slope after Chorus, then down a cliff face with RVB Zero.
you do know the people that worked on the anime are also the people that work on the main show right and was helping out the Japanese staff right?
There is a sonic racing game where they run instead of driving cars.
It was bad.
The one good Sonic racing game is Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, where they do drive cars.
Still a fun game tho.
Listen the werehog was cool and sonic unleashed was a genuinely good game, Ign just came out to say it was shit immediately without even playing it fully and most people just believed them.
The bandana I think is a reference to Sonic Boom. And that is all that has to be said about that.
They're not starting over. They confirmed that "Ice Queendom" is an AU spinoff in the vein of an Elseworlds series. The main series is still continuing.
The Bandana one is the New 3D Cartoons one.
Also We know why the Sonic movies did well... *We KNOW wHy!*
Hey, Sonic Unleashed and Black Knight were not bad games. No matter what the game grumps fanbase convinces themselves of.
It’s called sonic R and you unlock super sonic and he’s broken as all hell abc the game has its own internal character tiers for opponent selection
Most characters run but egg man and Amy drive machines
It was also the introduction to tails doll
Sonic Unleashed has loved day stages, it's the first time Sonic returned to a form of speed. The night stages aren't liked simply due to the fact that they're too long.
More like slower
@@hendeyjagger7489 What part are you referring to as slow. Because Sonic day stages are fast and controllable. It was the introduction of the boost system in 3d Sonic.
If you’re referring to Werehog, then yeah it's slower as those sections are beat em ups. The problem was that the night stages were at least 10 minutes long.
@@numberhunter62 that's what I heard people complain about.
22:34 very simple answer, Sonic R
When the best part of a whole series is a food fight at the start of season one I don't know what good thing say about it.
Shadow shoot.. I think that's the one where it's childishly super edgy with him being frequently mind wiped and tricked
Airier. Just to so you know the guy working on the RWBY anime is Gen Urobuchi. You might know him from this whimsical magical girl anime, MADOKA
He is just a producer
@@franciscoarzapalozapata4610 Producers get to say what goes in. So that doesn't mean he's not gonna apply his touch
Sonic movie is like a reverse situation with Doom movie and it honestly kind of amusing
The sonic racing game does exist. It's called sonic r.
😯
@@Airier yeah it released on Saturn, GameCube, PS2 and Windows.
16:49 dont look up rouge the bat without safe search on.
You're on about the anime company shaft
You should check out a new music video that jello apocalypse put out with epithet erased
16:01 yeah, that seems about right. That deadbeat can shove it.
how could you forget Torchwick lol
25:57 They turned out ok by completely reinventing everything and having nothing (maybe 5%) to do with any previous incarnations and story. (Where is the Sonic that was turned into a toaster and used as a machine gun by Tails. My Sonic. ;) )
Where as the cartoon/anime just rehashed the 3D games, with filler, except for the space season, which was odd (they aged the unnecessary human to an adult, then de-aged him to a kid and had none of the mobians really believe 20 years had passed for him).
Ozpin wasn't an evil dictator. Literally the second he realized Salem wanted to rule like an evil dictator he left.
Edit: I heard Raven slander. Meet me outside the local Denny's parking lot.
I cant wait for you to see the one for Persona 5. As it's probobly the funniest in my personal opinion and every line is acurate to varying degrees of joking. I've played Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal Twice. He speaks the truth and I cant wait for your reaction.
Classic sonic
Sonic and the black knight
Sonic unleaded
Sonic forces
Sonic boom
Those are the flavours of sonic presented
That beautiful sound was just posted by Jello.
“Just Say No” was also posted.
From RWBY; i want more MILF Neo fanart.
From Sonic; Isn't Rouge 19?
Bandana Sonic is Sonic Boom.
Honestly Wearhog was pretty good
she might survive this time and rwby is by shaft animation huke character design and fate zero director i beleive also rt is supposedly supervising but it;'s written fully by the japanese team so in other words it will be good for once even if it's subpar anime it will be above rwby american show
The Sonic 2 movie was a lot of fun and this short about the Franchise was hilarious. RWBY was great........after season 3 and Monty died along with the dope fights. I REALLY hope Ice Queendom will be a good adaptation but at least that short was just as funny.
Yeah ozpin did bad things but the thing is they never focus on what was the wrong’s he did, the show never acknowledges the whole dictator king thing, but the focus on the whole salem can not be destroyed secret, and the whole “gretchen” thing even though I completely understand his point of view of both especially when you have to look at the bigger picture
RWBY or LOST
how many questions dont they answer most?
Three words for you, boyo: Sonic. Sat. AM. Look it up sometime. And buy a bottle of Port to "recover" with afterwards....
id say the worst animated episode is suns first episode with the running lol
All this vid showed me is you've probably never played a Sonic game before lol (since none of the outlandish claims were jokes)
