Honestly, it looks like somehow they knew it was you. They allowed you to kill their two "rushing" accounts so you'd post a video on it, making people think they can do the same. However in reality you fell into their trap. They know your viewers will attempt to do the same, except there will be a max mage waiting on the other side instead of two afk "rushers". A 300 mil investment to get thousands of people to see how easy it is to anti scam, only takes one or two people to fall for it to turn a profit. I know you always warn people to not try this at home, but there will always be people who will attempt it after they see your easy success. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT STUPID, THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS.

Jagex could simply patch Shanty pass, Fishing guild, crafting guild, Farming guild and that would put a big stop to alot of their luring. It took them like 2 years just to patch Barb outpost but leave shanty pass the same way? A large portion of their luring heavily relies on these banks. They like it because the victim assumes the bank is safe, and so takes out their items.
Another layer: Jagex is in on it.

They knew it was you, so they switched to the grand seed pod thing to disguise the actual scam. The actual scam is them dragging you out of the bank with a movement stall when you wear your stuff, expecting to get the armour and seed pod. Like this, so people can see.
Trade stall scams are old as shit. If people aren’t aware of that, they need to watch some old Kemp videos. Never go to a pvp world unless you’re prepared to lose your items.

You're doing the lords work KempQ, If only i saw your videos before I got scammed over 2b, was a rough time... I tried following along knowing it was a scam, but didn't understand how easy Jagex made the trade window to lure. All they have to do is move before you hit trade, or quickly close the window while you're removing items and its gg.
For anyone reading, never follow along with these scammers because you're curious, or because a 'friend' asked you to help them anti-lure... trust me... you don't know every trick in the book, and you will get got.
100% I lost 1.8b recently to a lure.. worst part about it is a friend who I'd made weeks before was actually in on it. We were talking at GE, another account approached saying "drop giveaway, follow" and my friend called me on discord, said he'd login under the guy when he dropped.. the lurer traded me but turns out it was another account outside of the safezone. When I traded back, my character ran into a dangerous zone.. and my friend blocked me. A I and L look similar in runescape and that was the difference in names
Or bank everything & follow along if you're curious until they tell you to get your goods out the bank and stop there

@@connorfrancis4874 Yep, that's a classic one, we both learned valuable lessons about the lengths scammers go to. It's a good lesson for IRL too, we lost some game money, but hopefully this knowledge will help us if we face a social engineering scam IRL, scammers are everywhere.

The fact that they knew it was you who killed them after the first attempt, but still continued to talk to your other account after says everything. They deliberately let you kill those two "rusher" accounts because they knew it was you.
Be careful other viewers. Don't think you will be able to antiscam as easily as kemp. He is super experienced at the game and the scammers will most likely watch these videos to adapt their scams to account for these antiscams

I played Runescape back in 2001 and I got no idea what's going on in this video.
Man i remember having 10 million GP as a kid back around 2007. I would spend days mining rune essence, coal, and flipping trades on the forums and trade worlds. When my irl friends got me to start playing WoW, I ended up giving all but something like 250k to an in-game friend. Figured if I ever ended up wanting to play again 250k would me more than enough to start trading my way back up again. Might have to try recovering that old account just to see how it's doing.

He said that because when he looked back at his footage, he could tell that it looked sus (it is because like most of his vids, theyre staged) so he made this up to play it off. This guy has a history of doing the exact same things he accuses others of yet you mongoloids just seal clap not realizing youre being played.

I'm kind of glad I was permabanned for "Botting/Macro'ing" manually by an admin (meaning I cannot appeal) on Runescape (Which also bans me from all runescape versions) while I was offline for over 3 years. Yes, they banned me while I was offline, and did such over 6 months after I stopped playing. No one had logged into my account either, meaning the admins straight up banned me for no reason.
The fact you killed 2 of them pretty easily makes me think they hope people watching do copy it. I bet they made good money off your viewers, though I enjoy the videos anyways. Dumb people are always gonna fall for scams no matter what.
They just paid you 300m to advertise them being "bad" just so they can make way more in the long run. Video is either counterproductive or you're being paid to be in on it too.

What should I do if I know someone who runs a HUGE rwt operation, reporting the bots doesnt work bc they never get banned before they are switched out, and these bots have bills on them, I report them but nothing ever gets done.
I once lost a t bow and now I interupted the scammers , I think I’m on the blacklist. Every world where I go , bots start calling me out to be a hacker or that I send viruses over discord .. it’s annoying af !
im suprised no one has said that, those accounts aren't piloted, they're bots, with a blacklist, if victim account seedpods they just insta rush them, its why there's one up the ladder too to double spec

when osrs came out i merchanted like back in the day just by typing along with quite a few people and made 12m someone scammed me for fury and lost 6m of it and then my "friend" at least i thought brought me to some lever not the edge lever and lured me for the rest... got scammed and lured twice in a matter of 20 mins and lost everything never tried osrs again...
@KempQ Yep.. You were right, about 3 years ago it was 2AM and I was bored out of my mind because all of my peeps had gone to bed and no one else was on. I was bank standing and saw a lure happening.. I knew what I was doing and I always felt smart.. I miss clicked once and that's all it took LOL. I lost my Tbow+Spectral.. I couldn't sleep that night.
But it's okay.. The weeks following that I decided to try CMs with a few buds and made it all back pretty fast.
To this day.. I will NEVER fall for it again, for one simple reason. I just don't engage them at all. I should've have listen to you the first times.
The rabbit hole of content has been uncovered. Another theory is that your vids have been so far reaching that they can't find any real victims anymore. So any potential "victims" they find are always anti scammers in their eyes. Their new goal is purely to scam the anti scammers.
i anti scammed a whip and like 3m cash stack a few times with bait trust earning telegrab lures, but the moment they ask me to pull my expensive items in a pvp world, i ignore and hop. If you try anything more eloborate, you already failed.

Lol, kemp is 100% genuine. He would never intentionally harm or take advantage of someone. Yes maybe when he was a kid he made a few mistakes like we all have. But he is an outstanding member of the community.
I don't think it was an 'advertisement' ploy as much of the comments is thinking. The low lvl dude with the flowers really doesn't seem smart. I think it's much more likely that he was waiting for you to teleport, and had his 2 alts in the background. As you said, he was getting very frustrated. Might be easy to not pay attention if he is chatting you up so much in the trade screen. My guess is he just forgot to check his alts at the Grand Tree.
They're definitely using your videos as leverage for their lures. Antilure videos are part of lure themselves, it doesn't matter if the lurers release the fake antilure video or not.

should try the scammers just sitting in F2P world claiming you could win money by trading them for a chance to double or triple your money. The get above 55 and you win roll chance with dice. I tried it out and won once and lost 300m total. It was stupid honestly doing it but I don't play runescape anymore, so I just betted my money in hopes it would multiply but only see its demise.

They pretended to be AFK and really dumb. As you've mentioned before, these guys are usually very smart educated people and I think they are manipulating all the viewers to think they can do this. 272M is nothing to lose, if just one of us goes and tries this.
